He brought over menus and asked if we knew what we would like to drink. I ordered a pot of tea (my usual) and my SO ordered a pint (his usual). We were given plenty of time to view the menu. A full menu and the food here is very well prepared. I went with the catch of the day, Breaded Lemon Sole. Lightly breaded, this fish is flaky and moist. The side salad is loaded with a variety of veg and nicely dressed. The fries tasty. I wish I could come back here for another meal. The tea was the best I've had in Ireland and I love how big the pot is for one person. My SO ordered the Breaded Chicken breast burger which he very much enjoyed, along with his pint. I was too busy eating my delicious fish to notice his chicken; sorry. The bartender/waiter was friendly and kept an eye on us from the bar. There were a few other staff members who also checked in with us so we never felt ignored while also never feeling rushed. None of the staff attempted to start a conversation, but when we initiated, they were all very pleasant and happy for a chat and to find out more about us and answer our questions. The rest rooms are behind the bar and accessible from both the bar area and the dining room. They are modern and clean. Seating in the bar area is varied and comfortable.
