His prices are more than fair for the skill he has, especially since he includes shaping my eyebrows & removing my peach fuzz! I love the fact that he uses the booksy app because it makes scheduling an appointment a literal breeze and if there are any changes, Carlos makes sure to notify his clients in a timely manner. There were other women inside so at first it didn't register to us that it was a very unique barbershop for men only. A very cool pampering spot for men! They could get great haircuts, beard trims, shaves, hair coloring to hide grays, pedicures and massages, and old school shoe shines. But wait, there's more! There's Jazz Night on Fridays with the very talented Joe Cuban Frank Sinatra and Bartender Emily for nice complimentary cold Craft Beer or Fine Wine while you get your haircut. You can also play pool there. Upstairs is a speakeasy where you can go smoke cigars! But wait, there's more: there is a steam room for relaxation. Amazing place! It has been about 6 months that I have been coming here, and wanted to wait some time to ensure I had enough information to provide an accurate review and it was based just on first impressions. The place is impecable, while you wait, they offer you coffe, water and other refreshments. The waiting area is in perfect condition, barber chairs are comfortable, clean and they don't look like other places that they look like they are about to break and fall apart. The barber's tools are clean and sterilized to avoid passing diseases. It gives pleasure when you seat at the station while the haircut is performed to see the barber's station clean, perfect and organized. Every station has its own TV for your enjoyment while the haircut is done. The best part. The customers are always returning customer's, you see the same faces where everybody knows everybody. The barbers are extremely professional, friendly and courteous. I have the pleasure of having Rosie as my barber, and she's amazing. I can easily say she is the first haircut person that has been able to find the perfect cut for me. She will spend the necesay time to make sure the cut is perfect and to your satisfaction. She is always suggesting ideas that may make you look better or type of cuts that will match your style and face. However, today i found myself with a little bit of time, and I have been researching barbers in my area. Jimmy's came up on the list and since I was in the Gables area with a good friend, I haven't seen in a while, I decided to stop off at Jimmy's Barber and get my haircut. The gentleman that cut my hair was named Mario and he was a very friendly gentleman. Mario did a phenomenal job cutting my hair; he has excellent scissor skills and is very thorough. My wife says my hair looks amazing and I will definitely be going back for more haircuts in the future, time permitting. Thank you Mario for the excellent haircut.

Eskibo was my barber when I walked in without an appointment. With the brick panel and minimalist decor, it gives off a casually upscale NYC barbershop feel. The space is well lit, with modern cabinetry and quality, skin and hair products. My barber took his time styling my hair, both on the top of my head as well as my goatee and made some recommendations on how to maintain it clean and even when I do self-care at home. This shop also offers a post, shave, skin treatment with Maxima and a steamer for your face to keep me looking young & fit.
