But this pub is busy for a reason. they do good, cheap, simple pub grub and they do it well. Whether you fancy a roast of just a butty and chips this pub never disappoints. True, you won't get owt fancy but sometimes that's ok. The roast is ok and there is plenty of it. Don't be fooled by Thursday night's £2 to get in, £1 a drink. The beer is very watery and there are far better places to visit on a Thursday nights. The door staff can be complete tossers as well, particularly on Thursday nights and at the weekends!

Theres 3 parts to the pub the long room which is mainly for the families and meals, then theres the middle part which is more for meals and and people having a quiet drink. Then there is the end bar bit which is where i would go, you get a mixed crowd in this bit from the men who have finished work to the younger people coming here before a nightout and the people watching footy! I miss it and wish i could find a nice cosy pub like this in Glasgow :')

The atmosphere is unsafe, especially for non-locals who might not be familiar with the place. I would strongly advise against visiting this pub if you value your safety. Drugs are taken openly in he toilets , the toilets are in a poor condition, overall the bar is in poor condition, the bar would not survive if it never had bands on. Stay away if you want a peaceful evening.
