The beers is one of those trendy places, with good vibes, staffed as well with young people who could converse in English - however they don't have much of craft beer ( special beer ) here. Some from the neighbouring Belgium is here, and they have Brewdog beers but the rest are probably the familiar names, apart from the mainstream pilsner that they are probably proud not to have in here. My colleagues and I stumbled upon The Smoking Dog and couldn't pass up giving it a try. What a fun place. The interior is just very cool. Got that classic but quirky combination that makes for a great pub. There was a soccer game going on and the patrons were very very into it. That added to the fun atmosphere. The beers are extremely cheap in comparison to most places in Lyon where you automatically pay 7 € for a pint of Leffe.
