It is a suspension bridge. But they want you to pay to park for 5 minutes. The other side of the bridge has large no trespassing signs. It is OK but not very welcoming for a place on the middle of nowhere. Can't really walk on the other side. The visit takes 5 minutes. read more

5 stars! It's cool... And it's FREE! My kids and "braved" this outing accross the Red Deer River whilst my wife kept her sanity in the car. It's cool. Keep your valuables safely in your pockets! The grating is just the right size to lose a cell phone through! Whole endeavor took us about 20min. But it's pretty unique and well worth the stop! read more

The Star Mine Suspension Bridge is such a fun and charming spot! Walking across it is a cool experience, especially when you step off and feel that bounce, almost like a trampoline. One of the sweetest touches is all the love locks attached along the sides, with little notes that add a really personal and heartwarming vibe.
