A thrill seeking experience and exercise that crosses the Red Deer River in Rosedale. It takes 5 mins or less each way depending on the crowds pace and self determination to walk on and off the suspension bridge. We visited 7.26.2026 in the afternoon considering there were more people. Finding parking seemed easier this time around. I realized two changes from Sept 2009 in comparison with July 2026. First, I don't remember having to pay for parking. Now, there are posted signs with QR codes indicating pay for parking. Second, water appeared brackish which I do not recall back in the day. It is a suspension bridge. But they want you to pay to park for 5 minutes. The other side of the bridge has large no trespassing signs. It is OK but not very welcoming for a place on the middle of nowhere. Can't really walk on the other side. The visit takes 5 minutes. read more
