They refused to take an item off the bill and made us pay for a burger that was raw and wasn't eaten. It was returned. Instead they never checked on us and we had to flag down a staff to tell them about it and it took then 20 minutes to deliberate and finally the cook came over with an attitude stating we have to pay for it because we took "20 minutes to say something." They kept insisting that they cook the same burger more that was bitten and had been sitting and that they had back for over 20 minutes and that they would give a new bun and toppings. This is utterly ridiculous. Who would want that back especially after repeatedly insisting we no longer wanted it and that we can just pay for everything else. I would never recommend this place to anyone ever. And we are not the only customers there at the time who had a problem with raw food. read more

This is one of the best steak houses I've ever been to. You can really enjoy your meal and know that it was prepared with care because of the great owner and grill master. Venue: This is easy to find and parking is plentiful. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. I liked sitting inside because you can speak with the staff easier and quicker. However, if you sit inside, be prepared to get smoky because of the hot plates that they bring to your table to warm or cook you meat. Staff: The staff is incredible. They were very patient with our party of 6 because we didn't know the Spanish menu and offered so many steak options. We heard that the owner/grill master was walking around to check up on all customers. Overall, everyone was friendly and welcoming. Food: I only wish I ate here more often! The Steakhouse has a huge variety of meat options for carnivorous guests. As a vegan/vegetarian it is difficult in Rota/Cadiz to find plant-based options. The servers and kitchen staff were very accommodating to customize a meal for me. Affordable, we ordered a pitcher of Sangria, steak with fries and mashed potato, fried calamari, mixed salad (without tuna, eggs, and cheese), baked potato, and roasted artichokes for just 47 Euro. My friend reported his steak was very good with the mashed potatoes and gravy but if he did it over again he would just have fries. He also said the squid was a bit tough and chewier than he would like and was served with tartar sauce. For me the baked potato was creamy like mashed potatoes on the inside. The salad was fresh served with onions, corn, tomatoes, and shredded beets with Spanish olive oil and balsamic vinegar. A small sample of olives, bread, and crunchy crackers were offered and seems to be customary and nicer sitdown restaurants throughout the area. I have never left a review before. I left the steakhouse less than an hour ago. I'm not sure if it's a cultural difference from living in America but I will comment on what myself and a friend had. We both ordered the Galician Ribeye. I ordered Medium cook and he ordered Medium rare. Upon delivery, I received what was obviously a T-bone. Both of our steaks were overwhelmingly undercooked. We sent them back. When the staff brought our steaks back I still had a T-bone which was obviously microwaved as well as my friends. I've only been here two times and always had a great experience. The portions here are very generous. They are also open the whole day, no siesta hours. Both times I ordered steak, the ribeye and the half argentine. The ribeye was good enough to feed two people. Half argentine is a very generous portion for one person. I was having trouble finishing it! Both steaks were cooked as desired and were juicy and very tender. My friend ordered the shrimp with cream sauce in the appetizer section. Very delicious and a big portion for an app. The cream sauce is very rich and tastes Great with the bread they give you. The kids meals are big portions as well so if your little one doesn't eat a lot, you might want to just share your food with them. Leave room for dessert. The cookie ice cream bowl was delicious! It isn't on the menu so ask your server if they have it. The brownie sundae is good as well! Staff is always very pleasant. There's a lot of seating both inside and out. I came here over last year on the recommendation from a friend and this place is one of the better places to have steak in Rota. It's situated right next to the Feria grounds so during the season is nice. They have outdoor seating that's pretty awesome. The food is pretty good. I have liked the idea f the place since it has opened. I like many of the menu items.. However I don't like waiting forever for it which is a common trend. Even if you are 1 of 3 tables in there...30min after you place your order is a bit long to wait to then have someone come by and say " a few more minutes".. Dont be fooled by the chicken wings. They are Far from what you would expect as an american. The biggest downfall to this establishment is that it does not have a bar area for sitting. The Teriyaki ribs were fall off the bone, come apart in your mouth delicious. The boneless buffalo wings weren't those chopped breaded cubes but actual chicken meat from a traditional wing. I really like their food, but the service was horrible. I asked 5 different waiters and wait approximately 25min before I could finally pay my check. Each waiter I asked just kept telling that they will bring it over and never showed. I know there isn't a language barrier because I'm fluent in Spanish so I just didn't get it. In Rota for a few days and The Steak House came recommended. I had the beef tenderloin with pepper sauce. It was absolutely perfect. I asked for medium and it was cooked just right. This place is amazing and the staff was so friendly! I ordered a half Argentino, veggies and the mash potatoes with gravy. I wasn't a fan on the gravy, it tasted as if it had BBQ in it. I had every intention of getting a burger of some sort before I arrived. After looking through the menu I decided that since I was at a steakhouse I should stick with what they do best. So I order a T-Bone (medium) with fries and mashed potatoes for sides. The steak came out and it was very large, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. A few bites in I regretted not getting a burger. It wasn't terrible but definitely wasn't what I expected from a steak joint. I finished the steak and sides (which were also just meh), and order desert. For desert I had the brownie which is a brownie covered with vanilla ice cream, nuts, and whipped topping. It was as advertised so no complaints there. All in all it was ok.
