Terrible. I haven't been to this salon since last year. Still when I'm swapping horror stories about salon experiences this is by far the worse. The stylist cut my hair crooked and was rushed. Waxed my brows super thin when I slecifically said I like them thicker. They also had gaps where the hair was waxed completely off. Also, when I went back in to have the owner fix it she ripped my skin off. Literally. They gave me money to buy makeup to cover it up and fill in my brows. Also, they refunded my money after I went in to complain. Regardless I would never go back. As I share my story with friends I hear more and more negative experiences from others. I like to be honest though so I will tell you I used to work with someone that loves it. read more

I went the The Studio to have my hair salvaged after Regis Salon in the Westwood Mall completely jacked it up. As soon as I walked through the door I was greeted, asked for my name, and offered coffee or tea. Everyone was extremely polite and professional, and Toni did a great job fixing Regis's screw up. She showed me what the previous stylist had done and then explained how she was going to go about fixing it. It turned out great, and I'll definitely be returning. read more

Over the last year and a half I have seen 4 people to try to achieve the hair i wanted. I honestly tried to go to another salon twice and both times they scheduled improperly causing me frustration and I decided not to try to go there anymore so I decided to call the studio and I am so glad I did. Alyssa did an amazing job with my hair. Since my pregnancies my hair has become brittle and stringy and has been falling out more then normal so I decided to start keeping it short and was really wanting to find my forever stylist and I have finally found her. Not only did she give me the exact hair cut I was looking for but also sold me two of the most amazing products I've ever used. Volumizing and thickening tonic both together along with the pixie bob cut have made my hair appear to be so full and thick and soft the formula is so lightweight and doesn't make my hair look dirty it looks natural I even woke up the nest day and my hair still looked amazing and full. I highly recommend this place and believe that any of the other stylists will also be on their a game. The brand new stylist ruined my hair and they offered no remedy for the situation except for the same stylist to "try again" after she botched my haircut with all different and choppy lengths and my color as well. I dont know if the other stylists are better but I would be extremely cautious going to this salon at all. read more

I'm an out of towner on vacation and was extremely happy that I happened upon The Studio. Britt was a great stylist. She gave me a tour of the place, a cup of coffee and we were on our way. She spent quality time listening to what I wanted and asked some great questions. She educated me about products and gave me some of the best instructions on styling my hair yet. She was outgoing and personable. I appreciated her Aveda training background. Honestly, I wish that The Studio was in my area because it was so reasonably priced with great expertise. It is always a risk picking a new salon, but I was delighted to have found Britt. I'd recommend her to anyone in the area. Cute ambiance, too...hip, bright and fun. The exposed brick wall adds some character. Good product line selection, too, in my opinion. Some good promo discounts for first-timers, as well. This experience was definitely as good as it gets when you're picking a salon as an out of towner. read more

I am very particular about my hair. I often have something specific in mind and I was so impressed with how Mary nailed it! She pays a lot of attention to detail to ensure she gets the cut right & how you like it. She gives great hair tips. She's also very pleasant to talk with & seems to really enjoy what she does. I got a trim which was awesome and done very well, my eyebrows were done amazingly well as well. So why the three stars? I also got my nails done. They look like a four year old did them :/ It cost around $35 too. I'm just super disappointed because that was the part I was looking forward to the most. I'm considering taking the shellac off today because it makes me want to cry just looking at them. read more
