There is a bit of a wait for your food but it's totally worth it. The food is really delicious. I will say I wish the rice and beans had a bit more flavor though. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Perfect lighting and the seating is beautiful. Staff is very kind and attentive. I will definitely be coming back.

This beautiful restaurant has seen a ton of transformation in the past 10 to 15 years. And let me tell you it keeps getting better . If you haven't been there in a year or more, youve gotta check it out again!!. Its a whole new experience. The restaurant is cleaner than ever and has been upgraded one thing at a time over the years. The food is excellent. My favorite is any burrito (it's not a traditional American style burrito & is so so so good). Everything here is freshly painted, they have beautiful new artwork and lighting, & all kinds of new structures for the kitchen and bar area. It really is something new to experience, if you have not been in a while. And the prices... So reasonable!. The service is excellent ALWAYS and I've been here a bunch over the years. It is family owned and operated. Absolutely exceptional and I'd reccomended to everyone!! (More now than the first review years ago) mmm!!

Great taste!!!!! Such a hide treasure...literally what people call a hole in the wall.

If you are craving for an authentic Mexican meal, this is the place to visit. Everything is made to order and the only downside is that it takes a while for them to prepare the food. My favorites are guacamole and hard shell tacos. I just wish they could give the decor a face lift - maybe an update on lighting and wall art. Otherwise, it's a place that won't let your picky palate down.

Delicious food always and it's consistently good authentic Mexican food. Place was just renovated so it looks good too. Service is great. The guy who works there is very kind. I hate to do this but I took away a star because it takes a while for the food to come out. I get that it's fresh food but it's a long wait.

Been here a couple times, once before renovation and again after recently. Nice local spot, but Dos Amigos in Bloomingburg is the winner.

Some of us got coffees which took a bit but they were delicious. Definitely worth the wait. They have a good kids menu too. We got the frychos with chorizo as an appetizer which I've always loved but everyone at the table enjoyed them. Although I have my regular favorites I decided to try something off the brunch menu and I'm glad I did. I got the chilaquiles with green sauce and carne asada. It was very good. My only complaint was the steak wasn't cut up but that could be a personal preference. It tasted great. My husband got the breakfast torta with chorizo and really liked it. My mother in law got the breakfast omelet and she's very picky but loved it. The service was great the entire time. She even took a group photo for us at the end.

That's what it smelled like as well Quesabirria tacos were good however they do not dip the tortillas before grilling and they use one tortilla per taco . Consommé served warm ( not acceptable it must be hot) Shrimp taco had very overcooked shrimp. Seasoning barely noticeable ( one tortilla so it fell apart when I picked it up) Original spicy torta: this restaurant does not have or use refried beans for tortas . They didn't give me a meat option they said oh we made a birria torta we thought it's what you wanted. They offered to swap it but if you are familiar with chefs and cooks you just no thank you and take it. According to the staff they are a California style restaurant? I've seen California tortas and they are the same as New York. The protein options did not include Milanesa style chicken or steak Very nice very clean restaurant. The young lady who took the order comped us a lime Aqua Fresca and a sample of churros in hopes we will return. I made no complaints as the order was to go. Birria flavor was good although lacking in thst clove cinnamon aroma.

My wife ordered a margarita, and I went with a mango iced tea, which was really refreshing. We decided to skip appetizers this time and went straight to our entrées. My wife ordered the chicken Milanesa sandwich, which she absolutely loves--it's a staple for her whenever we come here.
