I love coming to the tavern, the food is always good, the staff is super friendly and I always have a great time participating in trivia on Wednesdays.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Dive bar vibes yet super clean and spacious.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Bartender was super friendly and patrons were fun and conversational. Tons of TVs showing all the live sports games, 4 electronic dart bards, a pool table, and about a dozen beers on tap. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Chill reggae music playing making it a great spot to do some work or hang out for a couple drinks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Happy hour has good drink and food specials.

This my spot! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's clean, friendly, and completely smoke free.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They offer a great selection of food and drinks, and the burgers are bomb! Trivia every Wed is a lot of fun too

Solid. Was gonna go to a familiar but delicious spot for my birthday but woman showed some videos and the menu sounded yummy here so we came. Wasn't super busy, we were greeted when we walked in. Jessica was fabulous! Knowledgeable, attentive, kind and funny. She was able to answer every question we had about the menu and her recommendations were spot on. We did the 3 for $20 app platter w surfboards, potstickers and Rangoon. Delicious! Everything tasted fresh and the house made marinara and ranch were amazing. Lots of things on the menu were appealing but I ultimately did the garlic noodz w shrimp and woman did the piccata. Jessica knew the piccata was lemony and that the noodz paired better with the shrimp than meatballs and she wasn't wrong. They could've put a couple more shrimp on but given what they charge it's probably on par. My food was good but it got better overnight. The garlic set in and the bread was amazing!!! They had a lot of things on the menu I'd come back to try. I'd also come back for Jessica's amazing service. She really made the visit. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place itself is spacious and we had our pick of tables. Naturally I did the VIP one in the corner. It was made for royalty lol.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lots of screens and one had cute animals and bloopers. They had another announcing upcoming events at tavern and what the different days specials are.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Great food and experience. Jessica said they got busier after the video came out so they schedule staff to accommodate. The waits were reasonable and we had a great experience.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice little hole-in-the-wall gaming bar with a great vibe![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Everyone was friendly when we walked in, and the atmosphere felt really welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We only gambled this time but definitely want to come back and try the food. I can't remember our bartender's name, but she was the younger woman with light brown hair working this past Monday night--super friendly and an excellent bartender!

12 former employees from the old MGM Grand/Bally's slot department met at The Tavern. Mario (?) put together tables and chairs. We had pizza and drinks while talking about old times. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Rap music although not appropriate was not too loud.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Appreciate the effort to accommodate us. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Bathroom door displays very unusual.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Spaghetti and meatballs special
    Robert B.

We went on a Thursday night to catch the spaghetti dinner specials. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Pulled up thought the spot was a bit sketch but cool. Rolled in and found the interior to be pretty cool.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server Jaimie, with two i,s in her name was awesome. She pretty much was the entire staff. Now the spaghetti. Normal boiled noodles and canned sauce. The meatballs were two formed and fried balls of hamburger. Not much for spice. More reliant on the sauce. No garlic bread in sight. The martini was good. The shot of cinnamon whiskey was generous and the 805 on tap was nice and cold. The price was also very nice on everything.

All of the food for the $50 Buffet AYCE, right in front of their restroom :)
    Emily A.

We had really disappointing experiences. Just look at the photos and ask yourself if this is worth a $50 buffet: boiled chicken, salad, fries, sausage, beans... Everything was bland and cold. It was shockingly bad, even Golden Corral does a far better job. Yes, the price includes unlimited beer, but realistically, how many beers can you drink to justify a $50 ticket when the food is this poor? And FYI, it's unlimited cheap beer, soft drinks like Coke or tea aren't even included. I expected them to maintain at least a decent standard, but this was truly unacceptable. It feels like they cut corners in the worst way and ended up driving customers away. They don't host buffets often, so this should have been a chance for people to sample their dishes and want to return. Instead, it did the opposite. You genuinely feel like they just wanted to rip you off and didn't care about your experience at all.

Moved the corn over to see how much grease and butter it's sitting in.

We have been here during the day and our experience with Mallory has been great. Good food etc. Being here for the first time on a Saturday night, I expected so much better. Our food is soooo soaked in grease. The corn is in a bath of grease and butter, and the chips aren't even cooked all the way they just go limp and wiggle. Gross. Waitress tried saying this is how it normally looks. From our experience it is not how it normally is. Still like the workers tho.

Great service by the bartender Max! Very personalized service, asked us our names and used them throughout the service. He even switched the TV over so I could watch my Colts play! A must try is the fried PB&J sandwich...amazing!

Pork quesadilla and a Cali Squeeze. Yummy food and drink

It was my first time here. I heard great things about this place. So I decided to check it out. The service was very friendly and welcoming. I ordered the pork quesadilla, deep fried peanut butter and jelly sandwich. And a Cali Squeeze. Everything was very delicious. There is specials on a daily basis. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is very good for friends and family to come. There's different activities to do[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]].

Our new local hangout! A MUST for taco Tuesday...have done it the last 3 Tuesdays. Met the owner, Max, tonight and told him we would be frequent customers. Emily and Scott

Once I stepped foot inside and saw a completely packed house with an hour and a half wait and barely standing room at the bar, I knew it was worth whatever wait or process I had to go through. Ultimately I lucked out as an individual. I was able to snag a bar top seat pretty quickly and had I known then I was sitting down to what was going to be one of the best meals of my life, I would have been visibly more excited. Not only was the service absolutely top notch, the people and the regulars there were extremely friendly and outgoing. The vibe was perfect, a strange mix of a place that felt like it had been there for 200 years yet was somehow high energy and vibey. From a killer cocktail recommendation to one of the best steaks I've had in my life and coming from Oklahoma City, where I work a mile away from the stockyards and can get great quality fresh beef six ways from Sunday, that's saying a lot. I usually despise most things truffle but if I was forced to eat that truffle mac and cheese every day for the rest of my life I would consider it a life well lived. While I would have never ordered it on my own, a customer next to me recommended the porn star cocktail and I have to say it was also one of the most delicious things I've ever had in my life. Ten out of ten, top notch experience. Would recommend. Will be back every time I'm in Vegas, no questions asked.

We ordered quite a few different items, which I truly wish I remembered everything we got, but it was hard to remember. I truly think you can't go wrong here. I loved that our server asked us if there were any food allergies and was so knowledgeable of the menu that she was able to let us know what we could order and what we should order on the side. The menu is meant to be shared with others, which I love. That is usually how I like to eat when I go out with friends. And we truly enjoyed the entire experience. The mocktail I had was really delicious and refreshing. It's beautiful inside! I would say make a reservation just in case. For two people, our bill came to $420, which set very high expectations. To make matters more disappointing, a 20% gratuity was automatically added to our bill, even though we were only a party of two. I didn't notice anything indicating that beforehand. Based on our experience, I felt the service was closer to 15% than 20%. The biggest issue was that almost every dish was overly salty. Oxtail Hummus - Probably our favorite dish. The hummus itself was flavorful and wasn't overly salty, but the naan was just okay. I was hoping for more texture with crispy edges. Bánh Cuốn - I appreciated the creativity of the dish, but the rice roll was surprisingly hard and chewy in the center when bánh cuốn should be soft throughout. The sauce was also very salty. Wood Fired Lumina Lamb - The lamb itself was good, but the nước chấm was extremely salty. Spanish Octopus - The octopus was cooked well, but again, it was overly salty. Snapper Tostada - Good, but nothing particularly memorable or unique flavor-wise. Rabbit Dan Dan Paccheri - I loved the perfectly al dente pasta, but the sausage was far too salty. Coal Roasted Dry-Aged Dorade - The crispy skin was excellent, but overall the dish didn't wow me. Oysters - The raw oysters had interesting flavors but leaned salty. The grilled oyster was my favorite of the oyster selections. The staff was genuinely friendly, and I appreciated that they were attentive about clearing and replacing our plates throughout the meal. However, the pacing of the meal really slowed down halfway through. We were there for almost two hours, and our dessert took at least 20 minutes to arrive. In fact, our check was brought to the table before our dessert, which felt odd. Las Vegas has an incredible dining scene with so many amazing restaurants. For a meal that cost $420 for two people, I expected something memorable. Instead, most of the dishes were overwhelmingly salty, the pacing was slow, and the overall experience simply didn't justify the price. I really wanted to love this place but I left feeling disappointed.
