Yes, you read that right - the Thai Boathouse in Stratford *England* is where I was served the best Thai food I have ever eaten. Walking up the stairs is like walking into a different country; lush tropical plants hang from the ceiling and drape over carved wooden panels and Thai statuary. It's amazing that this restaurant is located within a Tudor style boathouse! The views overlooking the avon are stunning and a wonderful way to spend a meal. The Thai Boathouse could try to rely on their location and decor alone for business, but they do not allow their meals to fall by the wayside. Meticulous presentation, beautifully crafted food and friendly service raise any meal here to a full experience. I look forward to my next visit to England so I can eat at the Thai Boathouse again.
