They do pull a good pint though.. With a pool table at one end and a conservatory and beer garden at the other, there is a range of seating options available - especially in the summer when it's warm enough to sit in the beer garden. Could certainly do with some more cheerful bar staff though - they don't often smile.

This pub is located near the market place area at the East end of Bedlington Front Street. It is…read moresituated right on the corner of the street beside the pedestrian crossing and opposite St Cuthberts church. The nearest parking is the free car park behind Tesco's store, a few minutes walk away. The facade of the pub looks old fashioned - the white and wooden beam appearance looking a little grimy and decayed. It is definitely weather worn and aged. The windows appear dark, are often stopped up with posters advertising local bands etc and it generally has an uninviting look about it. There is a side door where there is a step up into the building. The interiors are comfortable but again are aged. The pub has a regular local crowd but visitors are welcome. The pub is marked with a blue plaque for historical interest and is visited by tourist groups as they view the area.
