While visiting Beaumont, we decided to stop in for brunch after noticing the restaurant's modern appearance and strong reviews. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and promptly seated. The dining area was clean and well-presented, with a charming mural beneath the televisions that added character to the space. We ordered a cappuccino, the Yolk Lovers Breakfast, and the Arnold Alaskan with cheese grits. All dishes were nicely presented and enjoyable. The service was attentive, with multiple staff members checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and we look forward to returning. read more

I've eaten at this chain several times in several different states. This particular location seems extremely OVERPRICED for what you actually receive. This particular visit this location was out of numerous beverage choices and some of the meat choices.... I'm sorry! Did we surprise you by coming in to eat breakfast??? Based on server suggestion, I ordered deep fried hash browns. They were fried in chicken batter & extremely spicy! I definitely would NOT recommend. The ONLY POSITIVE out of this visit was time with family and the waitress tried her hardest to make things right with the options she was given. One was her suggestion for my desired order of bacon, "Bacon done the way the owner likes is - SPOT ON! " Not entirely sure that I'd visit this location again, as I don't live in Texas.... Souptember just got even better with my lunch review at The Toasted Yolk in Port Arthur, TX , where I dined with great friends. The customer service was incredible and our waitress was fantastic (sorry I forgot her name). The soup of the day was chicken with wild rice, but I wasn't feeling that one. Thankfully, she recommended their tortilla soup --and it was delish! Quite similar to the tortilla soup I had last week at Jason's, full of flavor and comfort. But honestly, the star of my lunch was the Strawberry Salad . Mixed greens, grilled chicken, fresh strawberries, feta, and candied pecans, all tossed with their house-made blackberry vinaigrette . A total win-win! I'll definitely be ordering that again. One of my friends ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich --a giant, hand-battered chicken breast topped with fried onion strings, dill pickles, and tangy BBQ ranch on a grilled pretzel bun . Such an impressive presentation! Another friend went with breakfast --two huge pancakes, two eggs, crispy bacon, and hashbrown casserole. Everything looked (and tasted) amazing. Excellent breakfast cafe. We walked right in on a Saturday morning and were served within 10 mins after having our coffee and water quickly provided. The GM stopped by to see if we needed anything. We were quickly seated and our server was there for drink order almost instantly. We said we were from out of town and he brought us a free couple of donuts that were AMAZING! My western eggs Benedict were so delicious and my wife was raving about her breakfast too. She has an allergy that they kindly accommodated so she could eat without worry. We were a party of 6 on a Sunday who were able to join the waitlist online and walked in with only about a 2 minute wait (great feature truly recommend doing it online). The interior is true to a toasted yolk but was clean and busy. Our waiter Drue was very helpful and attentive, and our food came out without much of a wait. I had the peach Bellini and pineapple mimosa which were both very good. I ordered the pork chop with grits eggs and toast. The pork chop was good and well seasoned. Other people got the yolkwich or The toasted yolk with high praise and really enjoyed it as well as other flavors of mimosas. This was a fantastic find by my friend. A bustling, local place with great breakfast food. I was really impressed with The Toasted Yolk entree. This was truly unique - a cooked to your order (my choice over medium) egg yolk embedded into a sourdough slice of toast. How!? I didn't ask and haven't googled it yet, so I don't know. I kinda don't want to find out because it might take away the mystique of this dish. And it was two big, tasty, toasted yolk slices of sourdough. I perceived this place as a cookie-cutter, chain type of restaurant but am so glad I did. I've been several times now, the food is delicious and the portions are large. Prices seem a smidge high for breakfast fare at first glance, but once you factor in the exceptional service, it quickly becomes a great value. The menu looks promising but the ingredients were not great. Had the Yolkwich. Eggs were dry. Toast was dry. Cheese looked very processed. Tomato was thin and... dry! For $15, expected much more. Regular coffee was deemed "gourmet" and cost 3.69 Total bill before gratuity for sandwich and coffee was $20. Ridiculous Service was okay. A person to open the door?? Not really necessary. ROACH IN FOOD I went here for lunch on 9/13/22 @ 10:55am and ordered the chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. The food was great but finding a ROACH on my plate was not. I posted pictures of the roach and it looks like it was stuck to the bottom of my sandwich which sucks since I ate half of the sandwich before I saw it. It was a small German ROACH and where there is 1 there are multiple. I immediately reported this to the health inspector. I will never eat at the establishment again read more

Shrimp n grits! Some of the absolute best I have ever had. The service was also top-notch. I am not sure which was better, our food or our waiter. Lucky to have both! They had a seasonal Cajun menu with chicken beignets, spicy bacon, and Jack Daniel's syrup - unique and delicious. The entire family enjoyed them. My partner ordered the Cajun Crawfish Eggs Benedict, which she throughly enjoyed.
