DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. I'm in shock after my bad experience. Cost me a premium to be overcharged over $1000. We a bad experience with the owner. I have multiple complaints. I was over charged for hotel accommodations. We requested medical rate for out of province surgery. They didn't bother, it was an additional $500. We requested the ability to change flights, they didn't do this for about $30 plus tax per ticket. additional cost was approx. Owner tried to tell me it would have been an extra $1000 a ticket. I looked it up on West Jet site. She lied, it really was $30 plus tax. West jet would let me change my flight myself for $100 plus tax per person if I hadn't gone through them. Travel place charged me $225 to change the flight. Owner told me $500 for hotel isn't that much. I asked for compensation. Told me if I were in here position, i would not refund us either. My daughter is fighting for her health and safety, and we have to deal with not just imcompetancy but also huge amount of disrespect. Told me she could not hear me, then told me to stop yelling. I didn't yell. I raised my voice so she could hear. Still waiting for refund from Cuba hotel from 2 years ago due to covid. Feels like a big scam. Only used her due to not wanting to call hotels for medical rate. What a big mistake using travel place. read more

These people are not useful! Yes they will take your money and they will book your flight, other than that you are on your own! YOU ARE BETTER OFF TO BOOK ON YOUR OWN! You get just as much information! They were really anxious to get the deposit and payment for our trip but are not very caring or look out for the customer! Elissa I think should get some training to maybe be a better agent! Are you not an advocate for the customer? Should you not try to counsel people if you think they are making a wrong choice!
