The Tree Brothers did an excellent job. I had called several companies for a estimate to get tree trimmed and cut down to be shorter and cleaned up nicely afterwards. Some company's made appt and never showed up. Some wanted a picture sent, which I did, and then wanted to charge me an arm and a leg or never responded afterwards. Maybe my tree wasn't big enough for their services. Of all the estimates I got Sabdiel was the most reasonable. They did a great job and cleaned up nicely afterward. On time. Cleaned up well. Stuck to estimated price. Closely matched a no-show competitors prior bid and were significantly better than one other bid. Were done early. Big multi-day job. A row of 10 trees in the back yard and two in the side yard. Had 2-3 tree climbers and 2-3 ground guys working at a time. Filled two trucks with chips. Offered me some if I wanted any but I like a finer grind/smaller size than their chipper makes. They had to get a lot of wood from two overgrown side-yard trees to the chipper through a narrow path in the front ornamental yard, and in doing so did minor damage to a few small new flowering plantings which survived and will grow back. I would definately rehire them again in the future, likely without feeling the need to get comparable bids. read more

Jov and his brothers came from Salinas to cut branches from 2 stone pine trees on a neighbor's vacant lot in Santa Cruz that were overhanging over my property line. The price Jov quoted for the job was very reasonable and much less than those quoted by two other arborists, one of whom said the job would be a "nightmare", and the other said it would take more than 6 hours. Third time using The Tree Brothers. They know what they are doing! Kept in touch with us to let us know when they would arrive. When they did come, my husband said---oh my gosh, right at the time they said they would! Of course, this has been my experience with them in the past. They do what they say they will do. This time it was a Neighbor's tree hanging over our driveway. A very messy tree. I explained that I just wanted it cleaned-up over our driveway, but didn't want to do damage to the tree. We needed 5 trees cut: three cypress trees and a plum tree that were taller than our two story home, and a maple tree. I requested a quote via their website and got a response from Sabdiel very quickly. We booked a time for him to come over for an estimate the following day. Sabdiel was on time, knowledgable about the trees and was very friendly and professional. He provided an estimate which was very reasonable, and we scheduled the job for about a week and a half later, but I told him since I was working from home, if his crew finishes a nearby job early one day or if they had a cancellation, they were welcome to do our trees sooner if they'd like. Just a few days later, he did text me asking if they can do our trees that afternoon. He gave me a time and he texted when they were on their way. Again, he was on time, his team cut the trees just like we originally discussed and they cleaned everything up afterwards. The trees look great!
