Paid $4K in advance to The Tree Merchant to rip my yard up, ignore my husband and I until we threatened a refund, put yellow, dry sod on half of the yard, and then ghost us. We couldn't even serve a warrant to sue them because they had a false address on the business that led to a vacant house in Annapolis.
