The only reason I booked a Breather was to get in slightly early (7:45 access promised) so I could be ready to go at the appointed hour. I never made it past the front door: you had to get buzzed in by an automated response. All I got was, "Breather is now closed. Try again later." I called customer service, who answered promptly and was very courteous. Unfortunately, the said entry was on a timer, so try again at 8:00. I messaged my client to say I'd be late, took a breath, and waited. 8:00--I get the same message. 8:01--same same. 8:02,3,4,5... at 8:06 I gave up and tried to find another option. The meeting never took place. The business might be lost. Don't let this happen to you. There are many options more reliable that Breather.

I enjoyed the fact that not everyone is glued to their computer doing programming or startup stuff. They host many different talents from fashion designers and freelancers to non profits organizations. People are friendly and approachable. Some can be a little to chatty and interrupt too often, but a cordial "let's catch later" will usually suffice. Pros: affordable, clean, approachable owner, safe, and a bit eccentric space. Cons: no parking, not super close to Bart (not a pleasant walk to Bart as it doesn't feel super safe), can be a bit loud depending on where your work space is, and does not offer much more than just the working space (no snacks! Haha).
