I really didn't remeber anything math related prior to our first session. He was extremely patient, warm, and made learning math seem easy. I had a lot of anxiety before my first session with him and honestly he took all of that away by being so informative and reassuring. He's a amazing tutor!! I 100% recommend him!!

My goal is to give back to those both inside and outside of my community because I think there has been a strong rethortic with our youth believing that Math and Science topics are difficult to master. I would like to stop that mindset through my tutoring services. I have been a tutor for over 10 years and have even been a substitute teacher in the same discipline. I work with all Math and Science courses starting out with basic Mathematics up to Calculus; however I also specialize in tutoring Geometry, Chemistry, Differential Mathematics, Anatomy & Physiology, Physics, and Biology, I offer in-person and online consultations and sessions to fit most schedules. Visit our website or give us a call to book your session and let's get you on the path to mastering your courses today!

Educational Connections has been a "best all around" experience for me and my family. It is a joy…read moreand privilege to work amongst so many bright and caring educators. As a parent, I have seen firsthand what a game changer it is for a child to have 1:1 support that comes from someone other than Mom and Dad. My daughter has worked with Jan at EC. The relationship they have formed and skills my daughter has learned have been critical to my child's classroom confidence. Jan has been a gift and our gratitude is high!

Would HIGHLY recommend this tutoring company to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and professional…read moretutor or executive function coach to work with their child. We have used this service for the last two and half years and cannot tell you how much we have benefited from the support of the coaches that have worked with our son. His confidence has improved with his writing, learning how to organize his thoughts better when tackling history and English Language Arts assignments. He's doing more than just the bare minimum, including more descriptive language and details. He's proactively creating outlines while reading to set himself up for success when trying to remember details later for questions or discussions. He's gotten better at self-advocacy, reaching out to teachers via email, when he's unsure of how to tackle an assignment or something isn't working correctly vs. just ignoring the issue. All things he wouldn't dream of doing on his own two years ago. Added bonus is that it has taken some of the pressure off of us, his parents, and the stress it was causing us when "nagging" him about his homework and missing assignments. Just wish we would have started sooner!!

The teachers do an excellent job communicating what was covered during each session and what she should continue practicing at home. They are very accommodating with scheduling when reasonable notice is given. Huntington also goes the extra mile to attend parents/teacher meetings if there are any academic or behavioral concerns, working collaboratively to find solutions. Since my daughter started attending, she has shown noticeable improvement in her grades and overall progress. I highly recommend the Huntington Learning Center in Waldorf, MD.

He was in the 4th grade, but doing 5th grade work and it was very challenging for him. So we sent him to this place thinking they would teach him but instead, they gave him work books to do independent learning. They only help him when he got questions wrong in the work book. We had more than one meeting about making adjustments to my son's learning needs and we were meet with excuses . We spoke with Gretchen (director) as well as Brandy (owner) and needles to say nothing ever got addressed. A huge lack of communication between the two. We went into the situation excited about getting results for our son, but instead, we left feeling like our son didn't learn anything. This was a waist of time and money...
