He…read moreaccepted the return of the coat due to its poor quality offered to exchange it out but ultimately just returned it back to my credit card. I subtracted a star because initially we couldn't find anyone to help us. It was a Friday afternoon a little after 3 & no sales associate to be found. We wondered both sides of the store and dressing room to find no one. Eventually as I was preparing to call the store on my cell phone the gentlemen who helped us appeared. The other thing was when I was explaining to him why the coat was being returned he asked if the coat had been burnt. Idk if he was joking or that was his dry sense of humor, however he redeemed himself as the conversation progressed. I work retail so I know people try to get over but this was clearly a case of defective merchandise.

As I entered the store, there was a middle age Caucasian gentleman standing in the middle of his work station with his back to the store. We stood looking at shoes for several minutes, he did not acknowledge us at all. I finally said excuse me- do you have this shoe in all black? He just responded, "no we don't", and he went back to his station with his head down looking at some type of document. Mind you, the store was EMPTY. I told my son, let's go to Nordstrom, as this guy is not interested in selling shoes! That caught his attention as he turned around and looked towards us as we left the store. I was there two weeks prior on a weekend, there was a young African man that assisted me.... As I walked into the store he greeted me immediately and asked if I needed assistance.... What a difference in customer service from this brick and mortar location. It's a tough economy, if someone walks into your store to purchase shoes that average $300 - $600, I would certainly strive to offer the very best customer service possible, treat all your customers with respect and dignity - as you may find yourself unemployed one day! The rating of 1 is for the interaction on July 28th, 2025, not the quality of shoes offered by the company which are exceptional quality, BUT not the representative of the company. I will PROBABLY stop by on a weekend to see if the other young man is there to assist me.

I don't have the greatest feet, so I need good, comfortable shoes and they have brands that are recommended by my foot doctor because of a wider toe box. I've always been greeted by the store employee and offered help upon entering the store. The store is always neat and orderly and when I go it's not very busy. I've gotten some great finds here on athletic sneakers and all the employees I've encountered have been pleasant.
