This place is the absolute worst when it comes to customer service. The employees are rude and express no desire to assist with any concerns. I shipped a package with them and a delivery attempt was made unsuccessfully and the package was returned to this location crushed and damaged. When I picked up the crushed package the employee responded, "Oh well ....nothing we can do about it ... call UPS". Do not use this location ! It's terrible !!! read more

The store charged me over $100.00 for shipping and they refused to refund my money for shipping. UPS is responsible for the insurance and payment of lost packages. Beware of this business. I walked in to get a quote for shipping. The guy took my things back and without my knowledge, sealed them in a box. After he gave me the quote which was ridiculously high priced ($70) I decided I would go to FedEx because I knew it would be less expensive. He then wouldn't let me leave unless I paid almost $10 for is packing service and small cardboard box. The most ridiculous shipping experience I've ever had and horrible customer service. Buyer beware Update - went to Fedex and the cost for overnight shipping was $23.90. read more

Bad location. I return boxes with my company all the time at various locations with shipping labels. They typically will tape it up if the box isnt in good condition. Ive had worse boxes at other locations get taped up. The lady refused to tape it up and said I had to purchase another box. So I got charged $20. Not a big deal, but unnecessary. read more

Wow. I wouldn't expect this service from a local UPS store in our area. My wife went in today to ship a package to our friends who just found out they were pregnant. Anila (remember that name) gladly wrapped it up, without telling us the cost, got to the register, and said it would be $70 to ship standard ground shipping to the destination. Which is in AZ, so it is far but we thought that was way too much. So my wife politely said we can't pay that right now and said we'll just wait. When we asked for our items inside the box back, ANILA said "no, you have to pay for the box now. It's already wrapped. That will be $29". My wife said, "we don't need the box, you can just take it out". That wouldn't work for Anila. Anila needed $29 to take 5 seconds to cut open the box and give us our product back (2 coffee mugs). Then gave some dialogue about how the box is already used now so we had to pay. I was a FedEx employee for years, that box cost less than $1. My guess is 40 cents (which we would of paid). We got the manager (Rahim) on the phone and he got it down to $15 (which is still ridiculous) but they THREATENED to keep our items if we didn't pay. So we paid...to get OUR possessions back. Just typing that makes my blood boil. I ship A LOT through UPS for my business. But never again. Looking at the reviews above...it sounds like that's how they make their money. If that's how they treat a sweet 27 year old woman, how will they treat you? I'd pass on this store. UPDATE: Man. I usually don't post an update unless the business rectifies the situation and fixes it....but I can't help it with the response he gave. The ignorance is surreal. First off, lets start with some lies. "And of course you are right about 40¢ boxes but those are tiny tiny boxes not the one that was used to fit your tons of china in it". TONS OF CHINA. It's laughable. It was 2 coffee mugs, already boxed, from Target. I mean come on man. Either Anila is giving you incorrect information. Or you're just trying to cover your tail on this (accurate) review. I'd say it's the latter. Next one. Let's bump it up to $1 for your box. That's a 150% increase than what I said last time. Shoot, let's go to $5. Again, it's reusable (dont forget; former FedEx employee). But let's just say it's not. Let's say you can never use that box again. Is it $29? Is it $15? Because that's what we were told in a rude tone or we wouldn't get our product back. That blows my mind that she even said that. I would of been fine with paying the cost of the box. However much that was. But that's not what happened. At all. Is it Rahim? You tried to charge my wife $29 for putting two coffee mugs in a box. Because she changed her mind after we found out it was $70 to ship. Then take them out so we could have OUR possessions back. Or, would you rather have just been pleasant, gave us our product back (because we didn't use your services), and continue to do business together in the future (I use UPS 4 out of 7 days of the week). I mean really. Which one? I get that it's a "FOR PROFIT organization". Maybe look at some businesses that are most profitable (that aren't franchised. Corporate UPS wouldn't do this). They return item's at no charge. Again, that's not even what we were asking for. But you over charged us at $29. We said no. And then you over charged us at $15. And as my wife had a 8 month old she had to go pick up, I just said pay it and leave. If you would of just said "sorry, that's our policy. I apologize for the inconvenience", I would of just left it alone. But you wanted to get on here and lie. Postage on that card was one standard stamp. I purchased a small manila envelope to enclose the card and asked that it be mailed through USPS. The proprietor weighed the envelope and told me that postage would come to $2.40. I asked him why the postage was so much, and he responded that it weighed 1.1 lbs. I questioned him about the weight and he said the scale showed that it weighed 1.1 lbs. He showed me the scale and indeed, it read 1.1 lbs. I took the envelope and placed it on his package scale and it showed .08 lbs. When I pointed this out to the man, he said he had to use the other scale. He then printed the postage on a printer and rushed the envelope to the mail drop. In either case, it is fraud. I hope that it is confined to this particular franchise, but , given that there are over 4,700 UPS Stores in the US, I believe you should at least be aware of the practices at this one. read more

I am a teacher and needed to make 94 copies, reduced from 100% to 94%. Simple, right? The woman helping in there knew exactly what I was doing, but it wasn't until she rang me up at over $70 for 94 pieces of black and white copies that I caught on. Supposedly there is a "zoom" fee! For real? Oh yes, zooming is really hard on a copier, etc! After phone calls to the owner and waiting forever, she finally reassured me that she had helped me greatly by talking the owner into only charging me $24.88 for 94 copies! Dishonesty. I'll gladly drive all the way to Fed Ex by the Mall of GA or anywhere else before I use this store again. read more
