Even if you are a finger printed parent who has consistently dropped off and picked up your child she will not provide you with a parent handbook because you was not the parent who registered the child, she will not provide you with any of your own finger print information (DATES) specific times or dates needed for mediation or court unless you are the parent who registers your child. Each time, our family was completely taken care of, from the moment that very sad phone call is made to well after the service when flowers and personal items are brought to the family. The staff ask the right questions, they listen to what you want, and you feel like every staff person is there because they truly want to be, not because they have to be, not because it's just a job. Every phone call is returned, every email is answered, often within seconds, and even on weekends and week nights. They are ready for whatever emotion you are going through at whatever time you experience it. If your loved one has pre-planned his or her funeral, there will be no nickel and diming of expenses - you will get straight answers about what's been paid for, what hasn't, what's been planned, what hasn't, what is included and what isn't - they don't dance around subjects. I will say that the more YOU can put plans for services in writing, the more you can say what it is you want, and the earlier you can get photos and videos to Benton-Glunt, the more they can be there for you for the things you might have forgotten or need last minute (and you WILL forget things). Another thing I've been really impressed with is how they change with the times - they have video and online options for remembrances that were unheard of 20 years ago. If you've seen my other Yelp reviews, you know I'm stingy with stars - but Benton-Glunt deserves the FULL five stars.
