I asked "oh is this a new thing for us to take our boxes" he said it's right there on your phone. I was like ???? It was just a question. I brought in my own printed material to be laminated and hole punched into bookmarks. They messed up so they reprinted my document on white paper (I printed it on blue for a reason). The prints they made looked like the copier glass was dirty. The hole punches looked like a two year old did them - none in the same spot and some halfway off the paper. I told them I wasn't picky, but this end product was not even close to useable. I provided them with my name and number so why didn't they call when they had to reprint them?And why didn't they tell me before I noticed it and asked? And yes, I paid them $43.03 for it and left after receiving NO customer service. I do not recommend this location for quality, value and service reasons. read more

Bad Mgmt? Not sure what they pay the front desk staff at this UPS store, but I'm sure it's too much. They will do no more than is minimally required of them. No initiative. 1) Store website clearly states passports photos are taken(as does the sign hanging over their heads!) "No we don't take passports photos - you can go to Walgreens." 2) unwilling/unable to research a UPS return package label arranged by Amazon unless they can scan a QR barcode. (Never mind that UPS CS online support had no trouble looking up the pkg based on #) Guess no one showed them how to use a keyboard. UPS should be ashamed of letting them own the name UPS. read more

I shipped electronics from Store #4002. Because the item was fragile and marked as such and very valuable, I purchased $800 in insurance. When the item arrived at its destination the receiver sent pictures, which were provided both to this store and to UPS claims. A claim was opened. The knobs and shafts to the knobs were broken off, and the item was crushed despite having not only my written Fragile Handle with Care, on it in multiple places but UPS's own tape saying Fragile, Handle with Care on it. UPS will sell you what they will call insurance at the store, but they have a business practice of never paying on claims. They will delay, play games, and make it impossible to collect any damages. They payout less than 14% of their claims according to several sources I have read. This store told me that they had 12 claims, and 8 were for lost packages, just at this store while my claim was being processed. They denied my claim. About like what is in the you tube below. Ground shipping during Covid is a mess. Don't bother. Online calculator told me my packages would arrive in Chicago and Indianapolis by the next day. The service person confirmed these times. Three days later, my packages are still sitting in Grand Rapids, the tracking function lied to me so I had customers expecting packages on the 2nd day. Unhappy customers, semi-perishable products ruined, no guarantees upheld-The website and the word of the workers not worth a dime. Pony up for the the express. I will say both the phone rep and the store worker were awesome. So helpful, kind and understanding. As a business though, 1 star. read more

Dear USPS future customers, [PLZ READ] [Do NOT trust this UPS Store] [Lost Package with Insurance] [Trash Customer Service] [No Apology] [No Explanation] If you are trying to deliver your valuable package to UPS, please read this review thoroughly. My mother bought a surprise present (a Moncler Jacket that Worth $2,640) to celebrate my birthday, and she purposefully shipped the item to the Holland UPS location, since she was worried that the item will get lost after it gets delivered to my apartment. She also purchased an insurance (~$40 worth itself) for this package to ensure that I (the receiver) would have the sign the package to get it. Long story short, the package was delivered to a wrong person (without even checking his/her ID), and no one from the Holland UPS store knew where my package was delivered to & who the receiver was. Until now, I have not received any explanations on what has happened to my package & I have not received a single apology from them about this situation. Situation Summary in Detail: 1. On Friday, I got an email saying that the package was delivered. 2. On the same day, I drove to the Holland UPS site to get my package. 3. The person working at UPS told me that the package was NEVER delivered. 4. After checking my confirmation number with them, they told me that the package was delivered to a person named "Kent," but no one knew who "Kent" was. Also, according to the Holland UPS worker, the package was not delivered to the exact location, which is supposed to be the UPS store; when I checked the location with her, the office where my package was delivered was out-of-business (please refer to the office image below). a. How can the package with the purchased insurance can be delivered to a person with the WRONG name & without even checking his/her ID? 5. I checked all the nearby store by myself, and I informed my mother about this situation. 6. On the same day, my mother ran to the Virginia UPS store to check whether or not the package was delivered to the correct location. This case was instantly escalated to the Virginia UPS store owner, and she called the Holland UPS store. All of the Holland UPS workers were simply saying to "file a claim" without escalating to their supervisors or the store owner. 7. Since there was nothing that I could do in that place, I left the Holland UPS store, and filed a claim for this lost package as soon as I got home. 8. On Saturday morning, I got a phone call from the Virginia UPS store owner, saying that she told the UPS Holland workers to look for who the receiver, "Kent" is right away and visit the delivered area one more time to check if "Kent" is still there. Still until then, the Holland UPS people did not care about this situation even though they are the one who physically "lost" my package. 9. On Saturday afternoon, I got a phone call from the Virginia UPS store owner again, saying that they have retrieved my package from Kent, and I will be able to pick up the package on the following Monday. The VA store owner did not know what has exactly happened to my package, but she told me that she was so glad that the Holland UPS people were able to find my package. 10. On Monday afternoon, I called the Holland UPS store again to ask if my package is delivered before I physically drive there. 11. The Holland UPS workers told me that they NEVER got the package. 12. I got furious as soon as I heard this message, and I instantly drove to the Holland UPS store again to talk with the store manager. 13. As soon as I arrived at the Holland UPS, I found my package on the UPS table. The box was opened and re-taped, and the overall shape of the box was all in-mess. 14. I opened the box just to make sure that the jacket was still inside. 15. The brand-new Moncler jacket's plastic wrap was all ripped-out, and the jacket's zipper was down. 16. I asked the UPS workers what has happened & all they were saying me was "I do not know," and they went inside of the office area. 17. I just took my jacket, and left the place being very furious, and I tried to escalate this case to the UPS customer service. 18. All they were saying was the following: "You received the package. What's wrong?" in a very disrespectful tone. 19. After calling the customer service for a week, I realized that calling the UPS store about this case will simply waste my time. Thus, I decided to leave this review. 20. I hope everyone who reads this review thoroughly does not go through what I have been through. All I wanted to hear from the Holland UPS store was a through explanation on what has happened exactly with a sincere apology; I still have not gotten any of that yet. Need a 0 star rating on here. I always come here to ship all my packages. NO MORE. I came back with a package u couldn't package you because the packaging tape I bought here Sunday was junk. Thin tiny little pieces come off, I spent maybe 6 minutes trying to get a full piece of tape and realized I was just wasting it and frustrating myself. When I said I'd like my money back the guy said, 'I can't give you a refund, it's used' I said yes it's used only on this package and now you'll have to tape it up because the tape I just bought here is so thin it just rips off in tiny little pieces. In front of the long line of people he said again 'I don't know what to tell you, it's used'. Really?! He wouldn't look at me the whole time. That tells me they go through this all the time and be knew I would be upset. I said you can have it back anyway as I threw it (lightly) on the counter. I will NOT be back. Ever. Now I have to go I Meijer and buy another roll of packaging tape. Thanks for nothing. Not even, 'I'm sorry, they don't allow us to do refunds here, even if it's defective'. Oh have I experienced better. First about a year ago an employee stole $1500 in Pen drives from me and they did nothing about it! We had no recource since my wife did not list the drives as part of the contents. I went in today to ship a box to a co-worker in Canada and the guy doing my shipping doesn't understand that technology makes this process much easier and quicker. I spent 30 minutes processing a single box. Next time it will be off to the Post office to deal with the Government! read more

After googling for the nearest UPS Store I came upon this location. I was prepared to go into battle with the people who worked at this location due to some horrible reviews. To my amazement I walked into the store with a smile on my face and was greeted with by the nicest of men. I had a wonderful experience. It goes to show sometimes people that write nasty reviews need to take a couple steps back and considered their attitudes from the beginning. I could not be more pleased with my visit to the UPS store. I had a large framed painting to ship to Texas. The whole procedure from measuring the painting to calculating the cose was done in less than 2 minutes. Then I presented the representative with a box of four items to be returned to Amazon. He helped me find my order on line, print it out, and pack it as well. He did not have to do that but took the time to make sure that each step was done correctly. I needed to return some cable TV equipment to Comcast and they told me to bring it by this UPS Store and they would package it up and ship it for me at no cost to me. Sure enough I went in and the young man got me taken care of quickly. My only concern would be that it would have been nice if he would have explained how Comcast will know to credit my account for the returned equipment. He seemed sure that I'd be given credit for returning the equipment, but as the person who will be charged for this equipment if it goes missing I would have appreciated some information to make me more confident that I had nothing to worry about. Not a bad experience, but there was that one area where they could improve a little. read more
