I don't like the owner of this UPS store. Clearly I am inconveniencing him with my business every time I walk in. This time I asked for a receipt with tracking and he said that "they" -(I am assuming 'corporate') are not giving out tracking receipts until later in the year. Yeah holiday stuff, I get it. I went down to favorite UPS store at another location and no problem with the tracking receipt. Sorry I couldn't be bothered! Dude, I'm not giving you over $500 worth of merchandise without a tracking receipt. Not impressed with this place. I dealt with the woman name Armando I came to send the very small package which is just a piece of necklace and I wanted just UPS ground, i send it to a different city but still in the same state. First she wanted to charge me around $13, I said I was here before but another male cashier only charged me around $2 for the same kind of package and same recipient. So she finally switched from $13 to almost $3 and then she said no tracking number First time I heard UPS doesn't give customers tracking number like that just because I use ups ground!??? It doesn't make sense. I should have talked to her more but I just didn't want to waste my time on those kind of people. Overall, I am not happy with this store. Never go back unless that package is not delivered to the recipient, I may come back to straight thing out with them. Very disappointed with this place. I can see why this has low star compared to other ups. I called to see if they print labels if you email it to them and guy said yes. When I came in, another guy said they charge over $5 to print panel and if you use computer, they charge over $3. Go to another UPS if you need to print mailing labels. read more

I had been duped on a sale for eBay and Adrian was able to retrieve the package and get my $. 117.00 dollars back in shipment costs . It took about three weeks but he didn't give up and called me when it promptly got there. He's a little rough on the edges but he will get the job done. This store sucks. Go somewhere else. I dropped off two packages told to "put them over there". Was made to feel like it was an inconvenience to give me a receipt. What do you know, my $600 swimming pool that I shipped is now "missing" and they have no cameras in the back where packages get loaded on the truck. read more

Worst UPS store I have ever used for shipping. This is not my normal location and I will never return. 2 packages still sitting there 3 days after I left them. When I called to inquire after not being able to use the tracking # I heard only excuses. How are you a UPS store but tell a customer you have no idea when their packages will be picked up? This UPS Store is great! The best in Long Beach. They even give out FREE TAPE, unlike the store on Lakewood Blvd. Last time I went in they: 1. Copied my return label because I accidentally printed to on one page (no charge) 2. Taped up my boxes for me and put the labels on. 3. Gave me good advice for Amazon returns. read more

I've come here half a dozen or more times over the past year or so, each time to return items that I'd ordered online and decided I didn't want. Each time there was almost no wait and the service was genuinely courteous, friendly and helpful--I didn't get the feeling I do sometimes at Chick-Fil-A where you feel it is fake and forced. Seems like I came at the perfect time, around 1:30pm on a weekday afternoon, because there wasn't a wait. Right after I arrived a couple small swarms of people entered, so I guess I'm good for business :-D Prices for boxes, padded envelopes, etc., seem to be in line with what one could expect to pay at a post office, FedEx or other type of store focused on mailing/shipping thing--not as low as you'd like but not leaving any worse off than anyplace else. The shop is small dog friendly, which is a plus for me. I brought by my pooch on one of my visits and there wasn't a raised eyebrow, disapproving look or anything negative said. I did carry him in and out with me though, to make sure he was well mannered and didn't leave any surprises in the store, maybe that helped :) read more

The young people who work here are very friendly and helpful. I try to bring my packages here to support this business instead of dropping my Amazon packages to businesses like Kohls, but today was the last time. Just moved and needed to print out the return shipping label. They offered to do it for $5 with a screen shot or I could rent a computer plus pay by the minute. With the amount of business I've done here, I can't comprehend paying $5 to print out a piece of paper. Lame. Don't price gauge. read more

Same experience as many other reviewers. Walked in with $400 worth of amazon returns and when I asked the owner for a receipt, he seemed irritated and said he's two hours behind and doesn't have time to give a receipt. I left my boxes on the counter as he instructed me to and walked to my car but decided that I wasn't about to leave that much merchandise without a receipt so i went back in and asked the worker instead and he nicely gave me one. As of now, I used to use this store for shipping. I've always ignored the less than stellar service but today takes the cake. Decided to use this as a pickup spot for my pkgs, which shipped for free. Got there and they literally tried to charge me $5 each to p/u pkgs that were fully prepaid! According to them, it's a 'local' store thing that's not written down anywhere! (Pot's legal now; they must be smoking it). I let them know very calmly that $5 per pkg will NEVER happen (I will also never do any type of business there again). To the owner, this is also a reason small businesses don't succeed. They are not prepared to provide service quality that is consistent with more established businesses. Don't advertise yourself as a pickup spot if you don't publish your fees. Look up extortion. It's not good business. So much for 'buy local'. I now feel obligated to share this bad taste with my friends. read more

By far the rudest staffed UPS Store in the area. Dropped off 2 Amazon packages yesterday at this store for the first time and I guess the older guy everyone talks about in these reviews was working. He was rude, unhelpful, and condescending. How anyone would come here more than once is beyond me. Today 3/13/2021 - The two guys working at the UPS Store (6285 E. Spring St) located at Spring St. and Palo Verde in Long Beach are pretty lousy employees! The UPS website advertises Saturday pick up until 3pm for UPS Next Day Air Packages to be delivered Monday. When my husband went to drop off a package at 1pm, neither employee, ,Ian or Zane, knew if there would be a pick up. They didn't know who to call and couldn't answer basic questions. So they told my husband to go to the Cerritos hub to drop off the package. My husband drove to the hub to find it closed! Our business will never use this store again! And we will be contacting the manager, Armando on Monday. We suggest if you want professional and efficient UPS service, you go to the store located at 4276 Katella Avenue in Los Alamitos. read more

My advice is to avoid this ups store. I thought it was just me who was on the receiving end of a bad attitude from the older gentlemen, but once I started to read the reviews it all made sense. While this location is only 5 minutes from my home I drive all the way to signal hill ups store just so I can avoid this location. A couple of times when I was dropping off amazon packages and asked for a return receipt the guy was giving me such a hard time as if were asking him for a personal loan or donating one of his kidneys to me. Even trying to mail packages he lacks patience helping me figure out what the best pricing would be. The store says it is family owned and I would love to have support this family owned business but not with this person working here with such a lousy attitude. read more

I have always had really great service here. I do all of my shipping out of this place. The people here are always working very hard.

The staff was very welcoming and understanding, they had no problems packaging and delivering my order. My problems arise with the state of the storefront, when I entered it was nearly more heated inside the establishment than outside. On this day is was nearly 90 degrees and averages that heat most of august and September. I wasn't in there very long but I fear for the workers health and condition it cant be good working in that heat and the staff seemed visibly uncomfortable and heated. I hope next time I return for more assistance it is cooler. read more

HORRIBLE! This place is a TOTAL F****ING RIP OFF!!!!! I print stuff off at Kinkos all the time, and all I have to do is walk in with my USB drive and pay 15 cents (or is it 12 cents?) a copy. This place told me I had to rent a computer for a couple of bucks before I could even start printing - even though their printer accepts USB drives. RIP OFF!!!!! Went in to return a book to Amazon. Unfortunately my printer didn't work and so I asked for them to print my label. I have done this before at no charge. The guy, Armando, seemed friendly, there was a line. I emailed it. They printed it and the girl helping me said they had an envelope I could use to mail it in. When she came back, Armando gave me a mailer envelope to put it in. They said it would be $2. Ok my fault I didn't bring something to mail it in. Then she says that the total is $7. They charged $5 for printing two pieces of paper. I asked why he didn't tell me that they would charge to print and that $5 for two black and white pages was ridiculous. He said well that's how much it costs and he thought I knew. A package I should have been able to ship for free but paid $7 to do so was absolutely ridiculous. Don't go here unless you're going to ask 100 questions prior to mailing because they are not forthcoming with the information in advance. read more

They advertise notary services but 3 different times I tried to go there for notary services. Twice their notary was out, 3rd time they wouldn't notarize because I got there at 3:40 and store closes at 4:00 with NO other customers. Waste of time driving there and complete disregard to customer satisfaction by advertising notary services but not providing them with any sort of reliability. read more
