Wow. So they are not actually UPS.. they are a franchise shipping store that uses UPS.. which I was not aware of as it doesn't say that anywhere in there. In order to ship here, the location charges you service fees on top of the UPS shipping rate, and in some cases these charges EXCEED the actual UPS rate.. example.. UPS rate was $29.75 + service fees of an additional $32 and then tax making the total of $61.97 ... for one 15lb ground package. This was not told to me at the time. It's only when I had to call UPS and have "Signature Required" removed .. I did NOT request Signature Required.. they put it in there and I could not fix it. Wasted an hour trying to get UPS to update it and they wouldn't as the "shipper" put it on there. When I relayed I was the shipper, that's when they said that actually this store is a franchise and not affiliated with actual UPS. I paid almost $150 for three boxes. Half of that was just service fees. Save money and avoid this at all costs. What gets me is there is no signage or anyone who says it's not actually UPS but just a store using their name. No where. I gave this two stars instead of one because James was helpful. Went in yesterday to print a couple of PowerPoint presentations. About 2/3 of my pages printed just fine. The other third either didn't print at all, or had images that didn't print. I went in today to get some help with it. Turns out that the laser printer they sent me to isn't a good one and won't print certain kinds of images. Somehow that's my fault and the business won't redo them. There is no note on the printer saying it won't print certain image files. (For what it's worth, it DID print most of my image files, and some of the ones it wouldn't print were pdf's -- pretty standard stuff.) So James was helping me and he said he'd do it through his computer which was fine with me, but then it turns out he has to pay it out of his pocket. This is screwball. I told him I'd just take them home and print them on my inkjet, which WILL print all the image files. So I'm out a bunch of bucks for posters that didn't print right, and I have to do them over on my own printer. I won't be going there for printing anymore. read more

i had a wonderful experience today at this UPS store in Mountain Home. the young man and lady that helped us were not only professional but knew exactly what we needed the design, picture turned out better then we expected and much nicer then we had hand crafted. this poster meant very much to me and they seemed to sense that and took care of us with kindness and help. on top of all this the cost which included design was much less then i had hoped for. I really wish I could leave this store a 0 star rating to help people never go here. Cythia at this location completely disrespected us when we came in and flat out told us we're stupid. She put in an address wrong and expected us to be her manager and boss and make sure she's doing her job right. I'm a small business owner and I'm being forced to reship an item again. I paid almost $50 for an item to be shipped and I have a buyer who's upset. Cythia has ZERO respect for small business owners thinking she's higher above than others are. She had a smug look on her face until she realized she was wrong. Instead of giving us a valid answer and being helpful she ran around covering herself with the same excuse and being completely inconsiderate. All I needed was help reshipping this as it was not at our fault but hers. She freaked out and started yelling when she realized we weren't going to give up after we caught her in her lies. I Genuinely hope she ends up losing her job at some point after messing up even bigger time. I advise everyone to stay as far away from here as you can! If you go here make sure it's not Cythia and make sure it's someone with an actual brain and respect. Because she does not have any respect for anyone. read more

I just found out that this place moved to the Star Dust center (mall, not really a mall.) It's a UPS store, set up a PO Box or ship a package. They're friendly and quick. read more

Cost about twice as much to ship USPS there then at the post office. Didn't realise untill a few days later when I took another package to a a USPS location and the cost was significantly lower. I then did a price calculator on the USPS website and realized that the package was about twice as much at the UPS location for the same service and package size. Now I fully admit to this being my own fault and not checking the prices before hand but there didn't seem to be any notification that the cost would be significantly different. When I looked on my receipt the only thing that was different was a $0.20 processing fee from ups which I'm totally fine with paying. So a bit confused about what causes the price discrepancy I decided to call the store to see if I could get a better idea of why it cost more. The woman on the phone seemed to be very defensive about me asking about the price discrepancy and told me that they have to make a profit and that is why they charge more. I asked why there is nothing on the receipt showing the discrepancy between what the actual prices and what the increase in price for shipping from their store is and she told me that it wasn't available or something along those lines. Ultimately I was left unsatisfied with the answer and I still do not know why the cost is almost twice as much at their location. I understand needing to make a profit (almost 100% markup seems a bit high imo) but I feel that there should be some sort of way to determine exactly what the difference in price would be before such as a disclaimer that they have markup and the discrepancy between sending something there and sending something at USPS. The lack of transparency is off putting as well as the sub par customer service. I will not be returning unless I have to ship something with a prepaid label. The extra money spent here was worth it to learn the lesson not to ship here. Line also wasn't much shorter then what it is at the post office so the convenience factor isn't really there though that might change around the holidays. read more
