The post office in this town is almost always a hassle-- and I'm not trying to badmouth them. It just seems the hours are tricky, and (when it's open) there is almost always a line. The UPS store is a convenient alternative. I mail packages from there almost exclusively because I can rarely get in to the PO when it's open and hate waiting in line when it is. The people at the UPS Store vary quite a bit personality-wise. However, there are professional, helpful, and efficient. read more

Last week I placed an order on Amazon to be delivered to my daughters new apartment in Oak Harbor Washington. We were in the process of moving her across the country, and my plan was to have it waiting for me when we arrived last Friday. On that Friday morning I checked my Amazon account and it showed it was on the way, but upon checking it later it said there was a delay and that I had to go to the UPS website. No big deal although the website is less than user-friendly. Apparently I put the wrong street address which I own 100% as my mistake. Understandable, since it's a new address. But they couldn't deliver it. So at this point I was more annoyed at myself for this mistake but after much hoopla on the UPS website, I finally got the address corrected and waited for an update on the delivery time but never saw one. That was Saturday, August 5, today is August 11 and as of right now I have not received a single notification from UPS since nor has there been any update on when the package will be delivered. I tried to go to UPS customer service, and after a lengthy and tedious process online I was told by the bot that I needed to call the customer service 800 number. I should also note that at no point was I given an option to speak to a live person online. So I called the 800 number hopeful to get a live person and find out what is going on but after going through the exact same process on with the automated system I was informed that more information was needed before I could speak to a customer service representative, and that I should go online to resolve my issue. Frustrating to say the least. After several days, I did a Google search and with no small difficulty found an email address where I could send my issue to a supposedly live customer service representative. They were of course outsourced to India and reading a script and they informed me that they wouldn't be able to be deliver because the address was wrong. You don't say... I was informed that I needed to contact the sender. I have completely lost any faith in UPS ability to deliver a package safely. This review is not only a reflection of the local office in WA that dropped the ball but also UPS corporate for having such a poorly designed customer service system. Thank goodness, it was just an Amazon order, and nothing truly valuable and irreplaceable, because from the way, this was handled, I don't feel like it would even matter if I had the most insurance, they offered to get my item. The fact that I can't easily contact customer service to fix what should be a simple is a pretty big problem. UPS get your act together. No wonder your employees are striking. read more

These people are unethical thieves. I opened a mailbox here, and they set it up and gave me keys. Then I had some packages sent here. The store then emailed me and told me that the person who set up my mailbox had done it wrong, and they were closing my box. They didn't return my packages to the sender or notify me that the packages had arrived; they STOLE my packages, worth $600. Go to Pony Mailing on Pioneer Way instead; they're awesome. read more

Excellent customer service. In the last couple of months I have visited the store about eight times. Once I forgot my required COVID mask and was trying to improvise with a plastic bag to get my package mailed before closing time! This of course looked pretty pitiful as I was practically asphyxiating myself in the process and looked miserable. Thankfully, I was offered a courtesy paper mask without my asking! The same online store I buy a variety of products from has different mailing requirements for different items, some requiring packaging boxes or envelopes and some just the code. When I've needed info and clarifications about what packaging was 'acceptable' for different particular items staff gave me swift, accurate answers so I have been able to successfully mail all my packages. Also, the store carries very cute greeting cards so if it's a busy time and you're waiting for your turn check them out. Also, the last time I came in and tried to get return info on an item via their online store to verify what packaging was needed, Denon noticed I didn't have the store's app that would expedite my returns and showed me how to download this. In the process of doing that, I noted my screen was shattered since I'd dropped my phone, even with the screen protector. Denon noted that it looked like the actual screen was fine and offered to help remove the screen protector so I could replace it with a new one. Once removed, the screen was indeed, undamaged. This TOTALLY made my day. I left the store elated! read more

Good: Quick easy printing. Affordable. Can put in online and pay, so when you go to the location it is just grab and go. If you submit your order early enough they can sometimes do some day pickup. I've printed several designs with them and some of my poster came out slight grainy. It was more my fault because I didn't give them a high enough res picture, but they didn't try and fix it before printing. So essentially you're trading the customer service of an individual printing company over their great speed. (Always very kind staff!!) I would use again as well recommend to a friend. I am just more aware of what I submit now. read more

I wish I had the name of the young man at this location who was so helpful. He was such a gentleman and had the entire place running smoothly. He was assisting each person that came through the door and with such a calm and patient attitude. I had a large rug I needed to return to Overstock. It was awkward for me to handle but he had no problem carrying it and even insisted on holding the door open for me while balancing my huge package over one shoulder. It really does my heart good to see someone working these days that seems to have a heart for service and is a true gentleman. Thank you UPS Store Oak Harbor for hiring this guy. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I won an auction item from the City of Oak Harbor. After speaking with someone who said I needed to fill out a CC authorization form, get it notarized, send them a copy of my drivers license and credit card, all of which I did. I then called the store to make sure they received it which they confirmed, and then when the Oak Harbor rep went in to drop off my item they told them "No we dont ship without a credit card present". WOW now my time sensitive item won't be received in time and the male clerk who answered the phone wanted to give me excuses about another customer shipping something. I dont care about someone else, I care about Me following ALL your rules and you turning them away! read more

It was bad before and it's even worse now, employee named "AARON" (spelling) just another rude as hell employee in the store, shame on the owner to hire such vicious and combative people, they totally make you feel like you are annoying them and putting them out just to send a little package from this ridiculous store!! Plus their FEES ARE WAY HIGH FOR EVERYTHING. Seriously, this guy should be cleaning bathrooms somewhere and not interfacing with the public. read more

If you have a return make sure you have your return slip printed off, otherwise you will be waiting in line for an hour while everyone else goes around you. This was my first return and I thought having it on my phone to scan was enough, nope!! Print it out if you can and save yourself an hour long wait...wish I'd known sooner!! read more

Missed my delivery on Friday. Had the note that said package will be at this store same day. I called Lauren said it's not there and to call back Monday. Next day my mother in law checked the tracking and it said it was delivered to the store. So I called, Lauren picked up again and said it's not there. She gave me a 1800 number to call and the lady told me the package was at the store. My MIL called the store, Lauren answered and was extremely rude to her. Now comes Monday and the delivery truck driver assured them he left the package there at the store. The girls swear it's not there and now they are accusing each other of stealing our package that was for my baby. Now it's Monday afternoon and no one knows where this package is. Absolutely ridiculous for them to be so rude to us when clearly it's not our fault. They should be more understanding as to why we keep checking in when the package is tracked to being at their location. Update :: now it's Tuesday and after they questioned the driver for stealing our package - the package was at their store the whole time. read more

I've been using this store since they opened. Within the last year or so, the customer service has declined immensely. It's comical to me, that they fired quite a few good employees and left us with Alexa. I've tried to continue to come to this store, as it is more convenient as I live near by, but I won't be back. I used to come in at least once a week, I have witnessed her yelling at customers, refusing to help, I've seen lines out the door and her not doing anything but being on her cell phone, and just being plain mean to people. But to her defense, the people above her aren't great either! read more

They are new so of course they are clean and friendly. No waiting in lines. I watched them box up a full car exhaust the day I was there. Very professional and worked with guy who was deploying the next day to get this all taken care of for him. They also have military discounts as well as AARP. They offer so many services including notary, shredding, and faxing to name a few. read more

I recently went in this past Friday and had a wonderful experience with the young staff, although had issues communicating with said staff due to the fact that children were interfering with the employees while handling my transaction. Although it was just a few copies, I had to repeat myself multiple times, and listen to the child sing songs in between my words. The child was clearly not a customers child. I want to rate this UPS store beyond 5 stars because they went above and beyond what I ever expected. I ordered turtles online (I know so terrible) but long story short if anything was wrong with my turtles when they arrived and if nobody signed for them then their "warranty" would be void and I'd be stuck with a dead turtle..... with the exception of getting it delivered straight to the nearest UPS store and picking them up there. The place I bought my wonderful babies from advised me to call the ups store instead and let them know to just keep the package and tell them I'd pick it up. (I did that 4 days before they shipped) they said when it shipped to let them know and they wouldn't get it taken care of. I let them know and it turned out that they weren't able to change the address at all (corporate or what not wouldn't allow it) so I set a time window and had a friend sit at my house. They had to leave for work by 3, and my time window was between 10-1.. they still hadn't come by 3 (not the stores fault) and at this point I'm freaking the heck out! I call the store and filled them in on all the new info and they told me don't worry!!! They sent one of their workers to sign for my package so I'd still have the warranty and made sure they were safe!! They didn't have to do that at all but they did because they cared!! I 100% recommend this store! read more
