I'm an eBay seller and drop off packages a few times a week and the staff is always great. I use the self scan when there is a line. It's super easy. Went in for Amazon drop off and needed the box sealed w packing tape. Not my regular store. The guy behind the counter said we have to charge you for packing tape, but this one time we won't. I was flabbergasted they would charge at all. If you need a package sealed, be sure to do it before you go. read more

I only go to the UPS store to return Amazon and Figs packages. I always have my package or items/QR code ready to go. Some of the staff is super nice and some of them are so rude. They're all helpful, but one of the staff members very rudely said to me "you know you can just scan this stuff yourself over there" and pointed to their self-service area. She tried to laugh it off, there was nothing funny about the way she said it. She was just throwing my stuff around - I tried to be helpful and put my items in the provided clear plastic bags because that's what the staff does after they scan your code/item. I would just do all of it myself, but I don't want to mess anything up and then not get my money back for my returns. I'm sorry you have to do your job and actually help people. read more

This UPS location is my jammm! Bria is the best! I swear it seems like every time I have a package to return I need some sort of help....lol. Don't judge!! There was one time I came to the store and made the mistake of thinking the UPS store handled this particular return however I needed to go to a Staples (she even helped with where I needed to go) !!! Bria is so helpful even when you're at the wrong place... we both couldn't stop laughing. Every time I have a package that I can return via UPS I always go to this store . I showed up 5 mins before closing time, the door was already locked. I tapped on the window to show the clerk my phone and that it was before closing time. She opened the door with attitude and said you have 2 mins... We brought our amazing returns to the door when I was told we couldn't process our Amazon shipping because the computers shut off right at 4 pm (Closing time). I was told the owner of the store automatically shuts off computers because they don't pay overtime. It's my fault for cutting it close on time but that was the worst customer service experience ever. I hope the owner of this stores read this and understands the policy incentivized absolutely trash customer service. We are leaving town for 2 weeks so it really just sucked overrall to not get this done before hand. read more

I've been using this ups store for a couple years now since I moved to the area and they are consistently very friendly and helpful. I've never had a bad experience here. I went to ship a router back to CenturyLink but when I arrived to the UPS Store, I did not realize they had just closed for the day. However, Brie kindly opened the door, found a box for my router, printed out the QR Code return label and promptly shipped it via UPS. There was a middle aged lady there who gave me a lot of attitude for going there at 6:15 when the store closed at 6:30 for going there late. I mean I get it, they wanna go home but as long as something is done before 6:30 the store is committed to do it for you. My stuff finished at 6:27 and i got out at 6:28 but she was still nagging trying to make me feel bad. How about their manager goes through the rules and tells their employees that you can stop service at 6:30 but before then, you are still required to provide service and not treat them with attitude just because you wanna go home few mins earlier OR just change your store hours to 6:15 and lock the door at that time so no one can come in!!! read more

Such rude and snarly interaction from the manager that works at this UPS store. She has worked there for years, and I have been driving to any other UPS store but this location to avoid her. Unfortunately, I broke my rule last week, and endured her dismissive, lazy and foul demeanor. She acts completely put-out when you simply step foot in this store. UPS has installed a new self check out for returns. This required some of her "assistance" for these first time and confused (elderly) customers. Her assistance was to either ignore them, or make snarky comments and/or aggressively grab at the customer's returns by slamming/throwing them into the return bins. This slowed the line down considerably an d made the line for the self check out 5 people long. She could have (gently) with an ounce of customer service savvy, showed these first timers how to properly self-check and then she would have gotten her wish come true......to never, ever have to interact with a customer again...but no, she just choose to belittle UPS's customers. NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN will I patronize this UPS location. read more

Rude employee at the counter. walked in to return a book to Amazon and she barked at me to come over and scan it. I walked over to her and said "just an Amazon return" and she cut me off and said "yep" in a condescending tone like she already knew what it was and was annoyed that i said anything. She asked if i wanted a receipt i said yes and then she threw the book to the side and also seemed annoyed i wanted a receipt. Get better customer service skills. I love my Scottsdale UPS store! Bre and the rest of the staff keep me coming back. Monday I witnessed a very aggressive man harrassing and threatening Bre. No employee should be called racial slurs (under the breath or not) and be belittled! I was afraid for her so i hung around for her safety. No matter what she did to deescalate he wasn't having it. She asked him to leave several times before. After leaving he reentered the store and continued with his THREATS. SHAME ON YOU MISTER. read more

When you need to email and print a shipping label at the store the owner, Walt, has chosen to dig in his customers pockets and be greedy with a $5 charge for a 1 page print of b/w ink! His own employees are embarrassed by his greed! I went across the way to FedEx, they sold me the box I needed for $2 and did my 1 page email/print for FREE! Had to ship 8 large boxes and about 12 pieces of framed art across country. Bria was so knowledgeable, friendly and took the time to make sure everything was packaged properly. It was a big job and she managed to get it all done while also taking care of other customers who had quick drop off transaction. With family and friends all over the country, we're always coming here to send a gift, or package. One of our children is away at school. Given that the school uses a PO Box for students in their dorm rooms; FedEx and the US Post office was always giving us fits -- since they require an actual street address. Thankfully, United Parcel doesn't have this requirement and made it easier for us to send care packages to him. We have found all the staff to be very nice & friendly and we would encourage you to give them a try. If only because, this morning there was no one on line here; and as I drove past the nearby post office the cars were line up out into the street. trying to get in. Little know fact, The UPS store does accept US Mail packages for no extra charge. Nice! read more

Wow, I was really hoping for a better experience this time. This is my third and final time using this store. Please be aware they mark the cost of shipping up at least three times the price, your package will never arrive on time if it arrives at all. Then when you call and ask questions they are extremely rude. And if you ask for a manager to call you back they just don't bother. I recently required to have two sets of fingerprint cards completed, and also two photographs. EVERYTHING was sanitized before use. The pen provided to me had also been sanitized, and i was requested to take the pen with me. The employee was very patient and professional during the process, and answered all of my questions. The worst part about this location though is that the shopping mall it's in gets very busy and parking is tough. I rented a mailbox from this UPS store for six months. I never used the place for shipping, copying, key duplications, or anything else, but the employees were all really nice and professional. They knew who I was and which box was mine. I never had any problems receiving any mail or packages. I needed the box because of a temporary living situation where we didn't have access to mail. The prices are high compared to the post office, and the address you get becomes obnoxiously long, but good luck finding a post office without a waiting list for a box. Things were a little rough at first because the store had just switched owners at the time we opened the box. But after a week or two, they got into sync, and everything was great. read more

03/02/13 Sent a parcel to a relative through this location after visiting two other businesses, a UPS in Tempe, and the FedEx on Pima Rd, just off of Raintree and the 101. All three gave me different quotes, which I found quite strange. I wished I'd gone with the first quote, the Tempe UPS one (under $20), but I'd have to drive 20-some miles south again, which isn't a big deal, since I have appointments to keep in that area, anyway, but that would mean another delay, and this package was prepared back in December! So I decided to send it out today, going with a price quote* that sat between the lowest, UPS, and the highest, the FedEx ($27). Wouldn't you know it, but right before the clerk was about to finalize the transaction, he asked me if I wanted a signature, or if I was comfortable with leaving the package at the door. When I said I'll go without the signature but then asked if he could wait while I called my sister to see how safe her neighborhood was (I knew it was very safe already), he commented that I do so "because, y'know you're trying to save three bucks here..." I really didn't appreciate that sarcastic comment, but then again, my mother would never let me hear the end of it if the package didn't reach its final destination, so I paid for the extra fee, which now brought the price quote similar to the one I was given at FedEx, which suggested to me that at least the clerks at FedEx and at Tempe's UPS were giving me honest quotes, and that the clerk at this UPS location fooled me to stay with a lower quote, but then later tacked on added fees. I left feeling dissatisfied with the whole experience, so I doubt I'll be sending out future packages from here. * The price quote given did not include a "delivery surcharge" that was already included in the Tempe UPS quote given to me a few days prior. Add the guaranteed signature fee, and you may perhaps understand why I'm giving a low rating. read more

This review is entirely for pricing. The staff I've encountered at this store are always friendly and helpful. The owner of the store needs a reality check on market prices. Everything at this store is exponentially more expensive than other UPS franchise stores and FedEx. To fax two pages it costs $6. Ups stores in other parts of the Phoenix metro is $1/page. Computer usage is also quite expensive and the equipment is so outdated that you spend $10 to literally wait for a single piece of paper to print. I only came to this store because it's close to work, but I think I'll take my business elsewhere to a more fairly priced business. I heard the owner of this store owns 4 others in the north Scottsdale area so price gouging continues around these parts. read more

Management and service are horrible here. I've been making copies off of my USB drive here for years. Today I was told $2.50 to make copies plus additional fee per page. Are you serious? Does it cost $2.50 to plug something into a computer? I've had them give me copies for cheap. If you're not making money then don't offer the service! read more
