I called and asked if I can send a package for pick up, was told yes. When I got to store, they tried to charge me $37.50 to collect my package , they did not disclose this on the phone call. Instead of being helpful , they pushed their point that if an employee failed to tell me the additional cost , I should have gone to web site. Manager is awful , and led to me NOT sending out packages as planned, and now I'm leaving with out my delivery because of an undisclosed , outrageous , fee , for a car floormat that cost $68 The manner in which the manager addressed the issue was first to make me wait 25 minutes before coming out of his office. I watched another customer come in , and witnessed the employee fail to inform customer of high charges for delivery to store, I told the customer who was surprised as well. It's an absolute shame that a manager, who obviously has failed at his job of training and overseeing , has ruined my day , and vacation plan by not coming to a mutual agreement. He offered a $7 discount to pay $30 His reluctance to be assistive , was insulting, and ultimately he looked like he was enjoying the distress situation he put me in. I WILL NEVER AGAIN DO BUSINESS WITH THIS UPS STORE LOCATION IN STEAMBOAT. Manager , about as bright and helpful as a rock. If he is an owner he should loose revenue if he is manager , he should be fired. He has no hair. I do not t know his name. read more

Walked into the store and was "greeted" with a what's up BRO comment. I was hoping to get something notarized, there were 3 workers in the store and I was the only customer. They refused to notarize since it is by appointment only, but the store was empty and they said make an appointment for later. One of the workers was the notary, so pretty pointless to make me come back and they are obviously trying to flex. I asked again since I was the only customer and it was obviously possible for them to quickly handle this, they refused and gave me more attitude. I left and got a sarcastic yell on the way out, something to the tune of "we love you bro". Unprofessional from the entrance to leaving. read more

I went to the UPS store in Steamboat Springs Colorado to print out a return label. It took me 3 minutes utes to search for my Gmail password in order to pull up the return label on their computer. In the meantime it the computer timed out at 3 minutes, and charged me $3.00 for nothing being printed. They basically told us, 'Oh well". We left the store and when we git home there was a $20.00 charge from the UPS Store, for again nothing we purchased. I called the store and we were told that UPS puts a $20.00 hold on the card "to make sure we have enough money to cover it" and that it will take as long as it takes for them to release the hold on our funds! They were rude and unhelpful. I called UPS store corporate to make a complaint and they also reiterated that their policy is to place a $20.00 hold on a customer's account for 5-7 business days despite not even printing one page of a thing. I have been going to that store for my printing and shipping needs for the past 5 years and only within the past few months has their service gone downhill. It appears to be a corporate wide change and the rudeness of store employees and corporate customer service was unbelievably substandard.. I will no longer use the UPS store in Stea.boat or any other location. They have lost a good customer. read more

Even better, when I leave things to them to pack, they do a great job and give me several options, always directing me to the least expensive but best one. This store helped me ship 7 pieces of luggage (5 ski duffles and 2 double ski bags) from my home in Illinois to our condo in Steamboat, and back again. They sent all the shipping labels and zip ties to me with clear instructions. They handled the door-to-door pick-up and delivery on both ends of the trip. Everything arrived at our destination in 2 days. It made ski travel with 6 people and gear so much easier and was stress-free! Will definitely do this again! read more

I have used my local UPS store often, and when I was in need of an emergency notary service in two different towns while traveling they were there to help. They allowed me to make an appointment to be sure their notary was on site, and then I was able to directly ship the notarized documents to the receiver. read more

Very poor customer service. Staff was not at all friendly. When I asked if they had some tape (that I needed to seal a box I was shipping through them) the guy behind the counter told that he can sell me a roll. He wasn't even nice or polite about it. Disappointing. Went in for what was supposed to be 2$ to print off a resume, turned into a $19 holding fee plus $2 for my two pieces of paper? What in the world is a fee nearly 20 times the cost to print? They said the bank "should" return as soon as possible... what does that even mean? I've never experienced this at any printing store... These guys are great. We've had a box there for three years as we winter in Steamboat. They are always wonderful about storing packages we ship in advance and making sure our purchases get to me while I'm there. This year we had to leave early and they worked with us to make sure our stuff was shipped back and that our packages in route to steamboat were re-routed back East.
