Ceremonies on the veranda are lovely and provide some of the best views in Wichita. The staircase to access this area is incredibly tight, so advise your guests to arrive early to be seated in a timely manner. Use vendors who have been at the Boathouse before and understand the best way for events to flow to make your guests comfortable. It's a great space- make it worth your money and work with vendors who know how to use it. The prices are high for the services offered.

But then the owner kept texting me and made it difficult. It was clear there was no price list and was making things up as he went along. And after seeing my name, realized I was "foreign" ( that's my husbands name) and decided he didn't want to work with me. When I told him this was going to work out, he was more than glad to end our communication. Very disappointing, but better now than at my event.
