The roast was nice enough but the veggies were a little undercooked in so far as endemic looking, could have done with crisping up. Fish and chips were fine. The burger order (we had 3 of them), well, they messed it right up. They bought two burgers out, with mixed up toppings on, no sign of the third burger. The third burger came out when everyone had finished eating and was wrong again. However, they were really tasty, the side salad was fresh, and the chips crisp and fluffy on the inside. The waitress did apologise for the delay and mistakes and offered free dessert as a sorry, bless her. So all in all a mixed bag, will go back I'm sure, just need to get their shizzle together, must have had an off day.

I have definitely seen…read morethe quality of roast dinners go down (a few years ago you'd get butternut squash mash and all sorts of green veg), whereas now it really feels like they give you the basics and hope that fills you up. Last time I visited, there was an excruciatingly poor singer yelping (and not in the good sense) away various cover songs and my poor 90+ gran could barely hear a word we were saying. If you're going to have live music, that's fine, but bear in mind that people eat out with family/friends to converse!
