Doniphan is truly an antiquer's haven, but most of the good spots you really just have to know…read moreabout them. This is probably why I can spend hours on end on Doniphan. So on the hunt for a different antique shop (specifically one that sells antiques from hotels... turns out it's now closed or moved) we zipped past West Studio. What really caught our attention was the big wooden doors with their sign up above. It wasn't easy to determine exactly what we'd find here, but we knew it was worth a look. On the outside we found a lot of antique doors, but hidden in between each bunch of doors is something unique like a wooden planter or large metal milk jugs. On the covered outdoor portion there was a lot of rustic wood available for purchase as well as some tables and bars. Inside we found a small collection of refinished and newly built tables, chairs, cabinets, and the like. I was specifically looking for a table for our front entrance, but I knew that I needed to find one that the price point was right since I was more than likely going to be painting part or all of it. They did have one table that I liked, but for what I'd be doing to it the price wasn't right for me. That being said, I contemplated buying a cabinet we didn't need. We spoke with one of the staff members on site and he did let us know that they can also finish wood projects for you as well as reupholster chairs. This is a really good stop if you're looking for pieces that could be turned into something else (i.e. doors into a table). You really have to give yourself some time though to look over all of the pieces. I was really impressed by the quality of woods available that would be perfect for any type of unique project you're looking to do.

I enjoyed speaking with Tracey about our hospital's requirements for the mask and she was very in tune and professional about giving us what we needed. I already had a good feeling about it and their mask sample was definitely the best out of all the other vendors! Not only did we sell out of the first 50 cotton masks we got from them, but the next 150 polyester masks were just as successful! They truly know what kind of material is in demand and how to execute the best, long lasting embroidery. I'll also admit that a couple of times, i had miscounted some masks and thought i was short one each order. But even when i asked Tracey about it, she was very patient and kind to help me try to work it through, and even suggested to provide me one more. But thankfully i would figure it out again and realize the order was perfect, so i would never have to question the accuracy of the order! Lastly, my friend and I just went to the Rhinos hockey game when it was ladies night. First 25 ladies thru the door gets a free t shirt designed by them! They had 3 wonderful choices to pick from as well and they made it for you right then and there at their table set up! How amazing is that??? They are also beyind generous and have made so many donations to organizations and kept giving free t shirts for the night during the t shirt throws! I absolutely love working with Tracey and her brother here, and look forward to more business affairs!

I called the office directly they told me there was no order and no delivery on file I was mortified. The person I spoke to on the phone did not want to give me his name. First of all, let's all just scroll through their IG (@hommework) for the next 57 minutes and look at the male models without shirts on. Seriously hawwwt! Beyond the ridiculously sexy bodies on their IG feed, they also post about sales so you can stay in the loop. Oh ya and text HMWRK to 69302 to get exclusive invites to things like sales and parties. I've found everything here from G-star jeans to cocktail dresses. Actually my absolute fave LBD (little black dress for this of you that don't know) is from Hommework! Obviously they carry both women's and men's clothing so this store is truly for everyone. And they do have a decent amount of jewelry available. Oh and Hommework's clothing line goes pretty quick too, so grab 'em while you can. My favorite thing about Hommework is the personal shopper experience...even for the pickiest of shoppers. You can either go through the racks pulling everything you love or you can just tell the whoever's on hand you're size and what you want. They'll seriously bring you everything they own that meets your standards. Personally, I like to do a mixture of both only because I sometimes miss things and they'll also bring you things that aren't on the floor yet. The dressing rooms are big enough and just what you'd expect of a boutique. Really, I can't rave enough about the staff! They're like a mixture of two of my fave movie shopping scenes: White Chicks and Mean Girls (on Wednesdays we wear pink). It was our first time there. We wanted to see what other businesses were nearby. It's pretty nice and includes: restaurants, a doggy spa, kids playground area, a blowout place, two brewery type bars, a rolled ice cream place, a nail salon, barbershop and more. There's still some empty suites. I'm sure they'll be filled in time. The shopping center is especially convenient for those who live in the area. There's new houses and apartments closeby. I know Marco's Pizza delivers to these homes. The other nearby restaurants may also offer the option. I'm excited to see what else is coming to this shopping center. I'll definitely be back because there's other places I want to visit.

This shopping center is fabulous; it has roundabouts to help move traffic and there is so much here- a really nice movie theater with a microbrewery and comfy seats, a ramen place, a salad place, Jersey Mikes, Five Guys, a crab and lobster seafood place, all the fast food places, Canes and Boss chicken places, a Freddy's, a huge Walmart with a gas station and good prices, a European Waxing Center, a Postal Annex, Ross, Home goods/ TJ max, Five Below, Cabellas sporting goods, three ice cream/frozen yogurt places, sushi, Pieology, a regular pizza place, Chipotle, Nekter juice bar, a nail place and a lash place...and I know I am forgetting tons! The place is nicely landscaped and well maintained. There are outdoor speakers playing nice music as you stroll around. I am so grateful that they planned an built this. The business need support to stay of course - and I am helping any way I can! I utilize as many of the shops as I can.

Now that just about everything is set up and businesses have moved in, I get the point and it is a welcomed feature. With all of the new housing development in the area, hopefully this cuts down on traffic to the Mesa and Sunland Park areas which are only minutes away. The West Towne market has a Walmart which is always packed. In addition a Chick-fil-a, McDonalds, Menchies, Starbucks, Ross, TJ Maxx, Cabela's, Sushi Fresh, BOSS Chicken and Custard, Baked Bear, Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers, Pieology Pizza, and more stores are opening soon including a movie theater. El Paso is growing so much from the East to the West of the city, some people don't make the trip across town and may not have to with all of the new developments popping up. I just wonder what else is going to occupy the open vacant areas.
