This is really convenient for people having parties and are running out of drinks. Whether you're looking for the best deal on a $12 bottle of white or a $40 red dining wine, they've got something for you. Probably what I like most about this place it it's full of an extensive selection of wonderful wines but it looks more like a warehouse and the guys are casual and unpretentious, so you don't have to put on any airs or pretend you have a seasoned palette if you don't know a damn thing about wine. This store, in a way, stands for the way the wine industry is moving: it's more user-friendly, layman, accessible and unstuffy than in its entire history. These guys also make it so.

Wine was not on my list, but I found a special on Jackson Triggs chardonnay. I bought one bottle. 2 days later, I decided to go back a pick up the whole case. I was told the sale had ended. I started to whinge a bit and pleaded that I made a special trip to pick up this wine. The manager honored the sale price and I walked away a happy customer. Always a decent selection. You probably won't even find staff that are experts. Sure, they're friendly young'uns who can show you where a particular product is shelved and maybe a bit about it, but that's about it. But what you will find is a good selection of liquor at very, very good prices. Since you can't buy liquor with your groceries in Canada, I always end up making separate trips, but since this is in the same parking lot as Superstore, it's essentially one trip. If I need to pick up some rum, vodka, basic beer or coolers, I almost always visit here.
