I typically love The Vitamin Shoppe! I have bought vitamins here for a long time especially ramping up my purchases during COVID. The staff has always been extremely kind and helpful until today. I went in today to stock up. As I was checking out with a hefty (to me) $200 purchase the person waiting on me asked if I wanted to purchase a reusable bag to carry my items out. I said, no, a regular bag was fine. She then informed me they no longer provide bags to their customers and had not for 8 months. I have been in to buy vitamins in the last 8 months and no one has ever made me purchase a bag. She was very rude and continued to say that perhaps they were giving them away for a while but not any more. I could purchase a bag or struggle to carry out my 6 bottles of vitamins. So here's the deal, The Vitamin Shoppe, I can order vitamins online from other places. I went to your store because I enjoyed the experience. That no longer is a true statement. I gave you $200 and you want to refuse to provide me with a bag that cost less the $0.01 so I can get my purchases to my car AND have rude staff. I will not be back. read more

Vitamin Shoppe used to close at nine but is now closing at 8 PM because of Covid-19. I raced to get there to get something that my sister desperately needed and arrived right at closing time. I was waved to and sent on my way without being allowed to make my purchase. I had called prior to that and they had put it at the register so all I had to do was walk in the door and pay for it with the credit card that was in my back pocket. I'm terribly terribly disappointed that something a family member needed so desperately couldn't be retrieved simply because it was 8 PM. I have been supporting Vitamin Shoppe since it was a telephone call-in store before they even had their store fronts. I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars and the person behind the counter has known me for years. So sorry I have a bad taste in my mouth for the future of this company. read more

Customer service is decent, they "kinda" help you. There is a wide variety of supplements and vitamins but the associates have little to no knowledge of them. You can look at the employees and tell they have no experience with any of the products in the store. read more

No hassle service. This is the place to buy your supplements! At competing vitamin shoppes, they will convince you to buy loads of other items to just sell sell sell! Here at the V-Shop, they are knowledgeable and helpful without the pressure salesman attitudes. They aren't body builders so they won't know all nitty gritty details but I'd rather know what I'm buying coming in and make an exit out. I am glad I can walk in and ask where an item is and be out the door. Thank you guys for being awesome! read more

Before shopping here I shopped with Peachtree Natural Foods which later changed in name and then closed down sadly. I have to say that I've had good experiences here and the staff is always helpful. Sometimes they are out of something I may need or want to try, but they let me know when it should be in. Overall it's a nice selection of vitamins and holistic remedies from flu to nausea. The new manager Marion is amazing and I've known her for years from the other health food store! I definitely shop here a good amount. read more

Prices are more than double what is widely available online. This is across the board. I checked multiple products and multiple online sites--not special sales or clearances. In every case the Vitamin Shoppe was ALMOST DOUBLE. I compared Amazon, Swanson, Vitacost and all these websites had the same brands, same amounts, same products for half the price and you can be sure they are making a profit at that rate. I understand local businesses have to make a profit, but this is an absolutely unreasonable markup. The Vitamin Shoppe is a convenience store for vitamins. Would you buy your groceries from a Circle K? Then you shouldn't buy your vitamins at The Vitamin Shoppe. I will never visit this store again. read more

I really love this location! The shelves are always well stocked, and I never have trouble finding exactly what I'm looking for. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and they don't harass you while you're browsing like at other places. They never really come over to me at all unless they can tell that I'm clearly having a hard time finding something. Otherwise, they will just leave you to do your shopping. Definitely a plus! Vitamin Shoppe also has great perks for its members, including points that convert to cash. This certainly comes in handy as well! Anytime that I need essential oils, carrier oils, or vitamins/minerals, this is my first stop! Highly recommended! read more
