Every time I have gone to the Vitamin Shoppe in Frisco have I received excellent customer service. They always have what I need!

I'm shocked by what I experienced tonight(11/21) at 8pm at The Vitamin Shoppe but not surprised. This is now the second time I've had an issue with the same employee regarding their price-match policy. According to Vitamin Shoppe's own website, they will match select competitors' prices with proof including Amazon. Another employee previously honored price matching without any problem so I thought it would be the same tonight. Instead, this employee told me he "couldn't price match" and to "come back tomorrow," which is exactly what he said the last time. During the conversation, he asked why I didn't just order from Amazon. I explained that I preferred to buy it now using the price match and had him to pull up one of my previous price match receipts. His response made me feel like he thought I was trying to get something for free in which he later stated I was trying to get something for "free"which is completely false since I was paying for the product. When I questioned that comment, he escalated out of nowhere and threatened to call the police, accusing me of "hollering," which was absolutely false. I even told him to review the cameras because what he was saying was untrue. After mentioning that I would be contacting corporate, he suddenly decided he could complete the price match after all. I even told him I didn't want him to get in trouble if he was unsure about the policy but it was surprising how quickly things changed once corporate was mentioned. Before leaving, I asked if everything was good. His response made it clear it wasn't, so I simply wished him a good evening. He walked away without saying a word. This whole situation was completely unnecessary. I hope Vitamin Shoppe provides better training so customers aren't treated this way especially when all we're doing is following the policy that their company publicly states. read more

Today was our first time visiting this shop. I was looking to try some new protein powder and also info on pre workout. We were greeted upon entering and the employee who helped me was very knowledgeable on the different products and helped me narrow down options for what I was looking for. I really appreciated his great customer service and thorough explanations of the products. There was some good sales going on too which was a nice bonus as well! read more

The products are excellent of course, but the customer service sets them apart. I went in last week and asked about a protein bar I bought last year. What I needed was pulled up on my account. I had my bars and was out in 5 minutes. read more

Very RUDE walked in with a list of vitamins I wanted, no greeting... I did laps around the store looking helpless and NO ONE OFFERED SERVICE! The "Manager" avoided eye contact with me the whole time. Do not waste money here ! read more

Darren Smith did a phenomenal job. My Wife, two of my Daughters & I came in late one night to try to get some info. Darren was extremely knowledgeable about all the different vitamins, supplements and everything that we asked about. He was very friendly and personable. We had a lot of questions and he answered all of them. We really weren't looking too buy there, actually we were looking for a GNC and found the vitamin shop. But when we encountered Darren GNC was out of the question. He is an asset to your store. If there were more people like him shopping would be a lot better experience. I am a tight wad. The way that He answered all of our questions it made me feel at ease knowing that we made the right choices and we bought Way-more than what we were expecting to buy knowing that we made the right choices from the questions that Darren answered. Nice and helpful staff, but this store seems a little smaller than the Plano store. Probiotics prices seemed high and they did not have Biotin. Conveniently located and easy to access. read more

Went to the store Sunday and Casey helped me out in finding a better product to help me get through my workouts. He was super patient and informative. It was nice to experience this after visiting this store previously and not serviced properly. This is a great example of how reviews can be used constructively to help aide customer experiences. The management team at the store contacted me after my previous review and it is evident that they have made great strides in transforming training and expectations with associates and how they handle their customers. What I found to be really helpful about this location is the staff. They go far beyond "clerks" by really going out of their way to see what it was I really wanted and was trying to accomplish with my health and fitness goals. As an example I wanted to pick up some whey protein and they asked some questions and they recommended casein protein as I wanted something to take before bed. They store is kept very clean. I really appreciate the managers specials table, you never know what treasure you are going to find half off or more! Once a year they send me a loyalty card based on how many points I racked up from the past year (every purchase gets you points, double points are earned if you buy their brand). Like everything else in life you want to be talking to experts when you spend your money on anything, so I don't buy my supplements at the grocery store anymore I always come here. read more

Good place to get supplements or herbal remedies. Good variety of Sambucus (elderberry) items to choose from to help boost the immune system. This was also the only place that I could find nearby that sells Magnesium Glycinate. I'll probably keep coming back here if I need any other supplements. read more

I'm fairly new to the world of protein powders, supplements, and vitamins (outside of my trusty Flinstones of course!), but so far I've been pleased with this location. They always have the product I'm looking for and more importantly, there is a wide variety of brands and sizes available to meet your needs. The employees have been friendly and helpful, but the big "pro" for me is that they aren't pushy and tend to leave you alone after confirming that you're just looking - huge plus in my book! Prices seem competitive based on the little bit of internet research I've done and they always seem to be running some type of special each time I've visited. So far I've been very pleased with Vitamin Shoppe and the products I've purchased and I will continue to shop there. read more

Checked online and called ahead for a specific product, only to get to the store and be told they did not have it in stock. The two gentlemen that worked there were very sweet and welcoming (neither of which who I spoke to on the phone- not their fault at all) but I wish I would have been given accurate information ahead of time. read more

Ordered $216 of products online 6 days ago. It said ships within 24 hours and is in stock. I ordered this on Saturday, Feb 3, 2018, today has been 4 Business Days and my Order still shows "Pending." I called them up and they can not figure out why in their system it is showing up like I just ordered the stuff, but they can see where I ordered it Feb 3rd. DO NOT ORDER from this Company if you want to receive your products in a timely manner!!! Very disappointing!! Cancelled my Order!! read more

Conveniently located right next to where I get my dog groomed, the store is always empty when I go in so never a big wait lol Decent prices, good selection and they sometimes send coupons. Random but worth noting: Only weird thing is I had never shopped at one of these stores previously but when I moved to plano I went to this location and they already had me in their system with my new address and everything....super weird. Great place to get all of your workout and health needs. The employees are friendly and willing to guide you in the right direction based on the way you work out and your lifestyle. They will also double check their website when you check out to see if there is better pricing than what is offered in store. I've been to Vitamin Shoppes all over for the last several years, and I've purchased supplements for over 20 years with no problems until now. This Vitamin Shoppe is very poorly managed. Sales table items are a mess. One such item that appeared to be full was found to be empty! Items on shelves are not price marked. One item that appeared to be merely in a new container and conspicuously placed next to exact name/brand item that was on sale, was not on sale. Upon informing the manager of an apparent price discrepancy, she initially said the new product was unavailable, so she didn't know the price. This was a lie. When she was shown how the new box was lined up, unmarked right next to the on sale item with the exact same name, she said she was OK with it. I don't know what another reviewer is claiming about non-pushy sales - here they are the pushiest and least knowledgeable around outside of GNC. Another VS I frequented in Albuquerque had the most pushy sales staff I've ever see, so it's a corporate thing. Do not worry, though - this location is conveniently located within walking distance of a GNC in the mall, it's just across the Gaylord from Ultimate Fitness Nutrition, and a Family Health Market and Sprouts with superior products and staff are just north on Preston. read more

This place was seriously hard to find. The building seem to blend in with the whole shopping center. So if your coming to this location its literally on the corner. As you walk in everything is organized. It's a typical vitamin shop. The employees are not as friendly as the one in Irving that I normally go to but thank god I didn't need advice that day. Here you will find protein, energy bars and drinks, Vitamins, BCAA, diet pills and so much more. Everything is affordable here. They always have great sales and you can earn points for future discounts. I buy most of my protein here and by far their BCAAs are inexpensive. I also love their sales. Sometimes they have a buy one get one 1/2 off. Since this place is now closer to me I will be purchasing most of my supplements here. My only concern is the staff. I hope they are more knowledgeable and friendlier because this will help sales and happy continuing customers. read more
