And- pro tip- they will match Amazon's prices if u find something cheaper. I have been going to Vitamin Shoppe across the US for a few years now. The VS has always taken the backseat to some of their products that I have found cheaper online. However one of the cashier's told me they match Amazon. My $30 protein powder I got for $15 with the Amazon match and my coupon which was $10 cheaper than the VS sale price. Today the store manager told me that if I order my products online I get 10% off and double on my points. Good deal since I usually spend anywhere from $15-50/week in the store. Some of the staff have been friendly, while others have not greeted me with a smile nor friendliness so gotta take away a . I am always chatty friendly and expect reciprocation. I am a successful entrepreneur and unless you want to work in the store for the rest of your life networking and people skills are a must! You all should practice smiling. Smiling releases endorphins to your brain that make you feel warm and fuzzy inside which promotes better health. The health that your store is advocating! read more

I love the staff at this store. I have been coming here for 10 years. I have never felt more welcomed than I do with the current staff. From the moment you step into the store Juliana is quick to say hello and put a smile on your face. She always makes sure to start genuine conversations and make you feel welcomed. Love the set up of this store. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable as well. They even have a refrigerated section with a wide variety of flax seed oils etc. My boyfriend was impressed by the protein powder selection. He stated that they offered a wider variety of flavors in comparison to other retailers and that the prices were even lower than on the internet. So obviously he bought some... :) I was impressed by their protein bar selection. They had varieties and flavors I had never seen before (pumpkin protein bar - what?). You can buy them by the piece or the entire multi-pack. All in all, great experience. read more

If you know the Vitamin Shoppe brand and are a fan already you pretty much judge the brand by each individual store. This Miami Beach store is particularly good, large enough to carry plenty of products in every line from supplements to nutrition bars to protein powders to meal replacements. And the staff is good, always helpful, letting you know if a new promo is coming up. I've never had the problem here of trying to failing to get some help because some employee is glued to their cell phone instead of dedicated to customer service. Conveniently located on the first floor of the Shoppes at Fifth & Alton, this store offers all kinds of supplements -- some for maladies that I didn't know could be "cured" by supplements. I gotta remember to come here to get "jet lag remedy" the next time I travel. The reason for my visit was that this place has stuff that you can't find at my local GNC -- Accelerade, Accelgel and GU Energy gels. Soo glad I called in earlier this morning for a product recommendation! I wish I got the gentleman's name! He was very helpful and knowledgeable! I could not ask for better customer service over the phone. However, after 5pm when I actually made it to the store, oh what an uncomfortable experience! And this was from the assistant manager Frank. He was too busy talking about Instagram with his coworker. I totally understand chatting with colleagues, but maybe you could wait just a moment until the customer leaves? He was being very brief and putting me off, also he did not have the product knowledge that I received from my phone conversation earlier. Do not want to go back there! read more
