    Avocado chicken
    Amanda S.

Absolutely delicious! We were so hungry we started eating before I remembered to take the pics. But the food was so tasty and filled us up! I loved the atmosphere inside the building, very very historic and tons of artifacts from the life of Ms. Vreeland. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting at the bar for a few and chatting with some of the locals, who were also raving about the food. Out back there was more seating and a gentleman playing music, super enjoyable dinner for us! Food wise, the bread was perfectly textured and fluffy, the chicken was chunky and the avocado was fresh. On the cheesesteak the peppers and onions were perfectly blended into the mix with the cheese and has such a savory taste. I'm a huge ranch girl and theirs was PHENOMENAL... very herby and perfect for me. Next time we want to grab some pastries and quiche...Can't wait to come back!

Exterior is downright country-quaint, the interior is a bit country-creepy BUT the food, oh the glorious food! Breakfast was country-legit. Best sausage in Jersey hands down and those pancakes were legit! Eggs Benedict, delicious as well as the tomato soup! Friendly staff and some serious key lime pie to go!

Decided on breakfast here because of a recommendation. Sunday morning and it was busy but we were able to get a table. Service was friendly and prompt. The young servers were very on the ball and eager to help. We each had a coffee to start that was served in a giant mug. It was coffee. Sandra had sausage eggs Benny with hash brown potatoes. They both could have used a bit more flavor but were ok. I had avocado toast with a fried egg. It was very good with lots of flavor. The place gives you a very homey old fashioned nostalgia feeling. We both enjoyed it and will definitely be back for another meal and drink. Enjoy

Parking was really a main issue for me- they weren't full inside the eating area but told us we had to park up the street in a church lot and walk back.... the neighbors yard was blocked off so you are forced to walk in the shoulder of a winding road.. and with my 6 year old I found that to be VERY dangerous.. probably wouldn't come back if the parking is still an issue.... But We're here for the renaissance theme night. Small menu. We got a turkey burger, which was not very good to be honest. the fried pickles were alright. My daughter had the cheese burger which she ate all of with the fries and she said was good. The turkey leg was also alright it came with sweet potato mashed which was yummy, and a potato pancake. The have a side yard set up with 2 " vendors " which honestly they should get rid of to make more parking......so they don't force their paying customers to walk on a busy and dangerous winding road.....

On a gorgeous Autumn sunny day this was a great place for lunch. I probably would never have found this place if it wasn't for a tip from a friend. This old farmhouse is so rustic and full of historic features. There are old postcards, photographs and newspaper clippings lining the walls. I'm kind of felt like I was inside someone's home. The staff was friendly. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered the flatbread with chicken. It was delicious. Definitely check it out. There's plenty of parking.

I went there on a date, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable - perfect for real conversation. It's the kind of place where you can actually slow down, connect, and enjoy the moment without feeling rushed or distracted. The food was both ample and delicious. Every dish felt generous and satisfying, the kind of meal that leaves you full in the best way possible. It's clear they care about both quality and portion, which is a great combination. What truly stood out, though, was the staff. The servers were incredibly kind and welcoming, creating an environment that felt warm and genuine. We came in just 10 minutes before closing, but you'd never know it based on how welcoming the staff was. Our waitress was super sweet and friendly, treating us like we had all the time in the world. We ordered the eggplant tower and the grilled chicken sandwich. The eggplant tower was absolutely amazing -- the eggplant was fried to perfection, not greasy at all, with the perfect drizzle of balsamic glaze and fresh mozzarella. You could tell every layer was thoughtfully made. All in all, this place has heart, great food, and genuine hospitality. I will definitely be back for more!

We rented an Airbnb nearby and wanted a fun Sunday brunch with a beautiful view, and this restaurant absolutely delivered. We made an 11 AM reservation and were glad we arrived before the crowds started rolling in. They offered both a featured brunch menu and an extensive drink menu with lots of options for the group. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout the meal. She even took a table photo for us and later noticed us struggling to take a group picture outside after brunch -- she actually came outside to take photos for us, which was such a thoughtful touch and really went above and beyond for such a special occasion. The atmosphere was also so welcoming. The locals were incredibly kind, and one woman even bought our table a bottle of champagne after hearing we were celebrating a bride-to-be. It made the whole experience feel extra memorable. As someone with a gluten allergy, I really appreciated that they offered gluten-free options, including gluten-free toast. I had the spinach and feta omelet with home fries, and everything was delicious. My sister is a huge Eggs Benedict fan and loved their version as well. The location right on Greenwood Lake is beautiful. They have dock space for people arriving by boat, plus outdoor seating that would be amazing on a nice summer day. There are also two parking lots on either side of the restaurant, which made parking easy for us, although I could see it filling up quickly during peak summer weekends. The prices were definitely on the higher end, but honestly, for a nice restaurant directly on the lake with great service and atmosphere, it felt worth it. I'm already looking forward to coming back next time we're in the area!

We started with the steamed vegetable dumplings which were amazing even without a dipping sauce which they give you two selections. Next we had the turkey flatbread which also was amazing.
