They have an indoor pool, an outdoor splash zone, private walks, and medication administration if needed. The amenities alone would be impressive, but what truly sets them apart is the staff. My favorite thing? The live video feed. Watching my boy play with the other dogs -- and watching the team take quiet, intentional one-on-one time with each animal -- told me everything I needed to know. These people love what they do, and it shows in every interaction. Hours run 7 AM to 7 PM for daily drop-offs, which is a genuine convenience for working owners. We needed boarding for our 8 year old English Bull Terrier, Claire. We were going away for 6 days and we had only ever left her somewhere overnight. I visited and assessed 6 other facilities before deciding on The Wagging Club. Here were some of the deciding factors. We opted for the luxury accommodation which gave her a large room with a tv so she could have dog tv on while in her suite. We turn this on at home while we go out. We love the calm and soothing music. The staff is always great. Courteous. Friendly. Very accommodating. One of the final deciding factors was the daycare. She was in daycare from 7:00 am until around 5:30/6:00. While they don't offer daycare as a service on Sundays, all the dogs in boarding went to daycare. It was comforting to me knowing she'd be too tired at night to miss us much. Every other place I toured didn't offer the all day daycare and the one other place I found that did, didn't offer it on Sunday. Most places had playtime blocks for the dogs. The Wagging Club has two play areas, separating big dogs and little dogs. Claire weighs 49 lbs, falling in the middle so we opted for the small dog room, but she would do fine in the big dog room as well. On Sunday, all the dogs go to the larger big dog play area and she did just fine. Another feature we loved was the outdoor play area. It was a large area surrounded by a high white wooden fence. I mention the white because it really brightened the area up as opposed to the dinginess of some of the other places that I visited. They offered a splash pad that was brightly painted with a huge flower, along with a bone shaped splash pool. Climbing apparatus is everywhere from the daycare rooms to the outdoor area. What I really loved also were the misters along the entire outdoor play area. We boarded her in the middle of August and the misters around the outdoor play area meant they considered how hot it is in summer. Another deciding factor was the cleanliness. This facility was a bit far from us but compared to some of the places I toured, it was immaculate. I remember feeling like I would be putting her into a shelter when I toured a few of the other places. It was traumatic for me enough, leaving her for 6 days. I was an annoying helicopter mom and they were lovely. They have cameras in the outdoor area and the playrooms. The boarding facility where she slept was in a completely separate building which I appreciate because it's away from the noise of the daycare for feeding and nap purposes. They generally close around 5:00 on Sundays. Our plane landed at 4:20. We had parked at the airport and they were able to accommodate us by staying a bit longer and we were able to collect her by 5:20. When we did collect her, she had been bathed and smelled wonderful. They offer all kinds of other services including a large indoor swimming pool. Excellent therapy for dogs who can benefit from physical therapy or just exercise. Grooming services and extra packages are also available. Things like outdoor walks. Cuddle time. Treats before bed. We took advantage of the 20% discount for new customers and they offered a military discount on top of that! They also sent us daily postcards. A photo with a cute note. In summary: I loved the cleanliness, great service, friendliness and the overall facility itself. It felt less like a shelter than any other place I toured. Some of the places were downright scary to me, even though my husband found them adequate. It was the best choice for me and that's all that mattered. It was about my trauma of leaving her, knowing about her anxiety and this place was able to allay all my concerns and fears. Claire has anxiety in new surroundings, even when we take her with us. I felt comfortable leaving her knowing she would be in good hands. We will definitely continue to use and recommend The Wagging Club. On busy days when we have errands to run or appointments, we will definitely consider leaving her at daycare. read more

I do not easily give five-star reviews, but The Wagging Club has certainly earned theirs. As a family-owned pet resort, your facility offers wonderful daycare and boarding options. My dog absolutely loves the outdoor area. After seeing your banners at our local dog park, I knew I needed a safer, more consistent spot to socialize Skye. Because of her history, she was initially very nervous and lacked confidence around new people and other dogs, which was a significant concern for me.  From my first tour, I was impressed by the cleanliness and the genuine care you show every dog. Seeing the happy, tired pups and relaxed parents--combined with the ability to check in via the live stream app--gave me complete peace of mind. Helicopter Mom happy dance! Skye is a high-energy 14-month-old Catahoula-Border Collie-German Shepherd, etc. mix with strong opinions and initial anxiety about new indoor spaces. Though she was hesitant on her first day, having to energetically encourage her through the doors and gate, watching her thrive on the live stream helped me understand why other parents are so at ease. Since then, her experience has been amazing. She now attends two to three days a week and rushes through your doors without looking back. I am so thankful for the trustworthy, attentive, and wonderful team at The Wagging Club. I appreciate the updates on her day and the friends she has made. I'm new to the area and finding The Wagging Club has been such a relief. I would absolutely recommend them. I lost one of my dogs last spring, which was tough on me, but I think it was even harder on my other dog who lost her best friend. I knew she needed more social time, especially during the day while I'm working. I was a little nervous at first because she's a Cavalier and incredibly sweet, but they do a great job separating the small and large dogs, which immediately put me at ease. They also offered a free trial visit, which made it easy to give it a try without pressure. When I dropped her off the first time, I found the location tucked back in a shopping center off W. Fletcher Ave in Carrollwood. The facility is impressive -- there's even a splash pad and an indoor pool. The staff was welcoming and kind, and being able to check in on her through the cameras helped me relax a lot. The first day she mostly just observed and got comfortable, but everyone was patient with her. Since then, she's made a little friend -- a miniature husky she plays with regularly. She also loves getting groomed while she's there, which is a lifesaver in the Florida heat. I'm really grateful we found a place that feels like a second home for her, with new friends and people who clearly care. read more

When I first brought my dog here I thought everything was fine. I liked that the big and small dogs were separated after bathroom breaks, but during potty breaks they are placed together, which is risky. My dog's first visit was complimentary and it seemed to go well, so I prepaid $150 for the full week from Monday to Friday. However, on Monday during the potty break (which I watched through the camera), a large husky charged at my 3-pound dog twice. Each time she curled into a ball in fear. I immediately called the front desk after the first incident and was told the husky would be moved. But a few minutes later, it happened again. This time they removed my dog from the area instead. When I called to speak with one of the owners about what happened, I was shocked at how dismissive and unsympathetic she was. She brushed off my concern by saying "that's how dogs play" and responded with "okay" when I explained the situation. I had clearly told them multiple times, including during the complimentary visit and again on Monday, that my dog does not do well with other dogs and may growl at them. When I asked for a refund on Monday, I was met with the response "why would you want that?" in a very uncaring tone. I did not argue because they still had my dog at the time. When I picked her up later that day, they did tell me they would no longer let big and small dogs out together. But thinking back on the way I was treated during the phone call made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I told the owner she was nice just to avoid conflict, but honestly, she was not when I brought up my concerns. To be fair, aside from the husky incident, my dog was not mistreated during her time there. But the customer service and hospitality need serious improvement. On Tuesday, I decided not to return. No one called to check on us or ask why we did not come back. No one offered a refund or partial refund for the days we did not use, even though I had prepaid $150. I understand keeping the amount for the one day my dog attended, but not acknowledging any refund at all says a lot about the character of the company. I will not be using their services again, but I do wish them the best in the future. I sent them an email telling them since I won't get my money back may it bless them and their company, I truly hope it does. read more
