DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE THE OWNER IS HORRIBLY CRUEL, HEARTLESS AND IRRESPONSIBLE! Too badly I can't…read moregive negative stars for this unprofessional, ran by a cruel and mean owner who clearly disrespects women. I wrote a review soon after I unfortunately chose this place to board my elderly shorkie who has a 6/6 heart murmur and GI issues when I had to fly across the country to see my mother who's battling lymphoma. I was late arriving to check my dog in prior to my flight due to work and was nearly ran off the road by a road rager and was upset for viable reasons. When I was beginning the check in process with who I later learned is the "Owner" of this dump, he told me "Look, you are all over the place I need you to forget whatever happened prior to now and check your dog in." This was so off-putting, rude and unprofessional and I wanted to leave and not board my dog. However, I was running late to get to the airport for my flight. My dog was super sick with a horrible cough she has not ever had, was extremely lethargic and not wanting to eat anything. I had to spend hundreds of dollars at the vet and spend countless hours trying to nurse her back to health. In fact, her vet diagnosed her as terminal and suspected her heart medication was not properly dispensed. During my dog's stay, while out of state caring for my ill mother, I tried calling daily to check on my dog and also struggled getting the camera that was "free" for first-time customers and the "Owner" was so rude upon check in when I asked how to access the camera, he explained so quickly and rudely I had to call to ask how to access. Immediately upon learning how sick my dog was, I called several times asking for information about my dog and whether she had symptoms while boarded. I repeatedly asked for the "Owner" to call me back and he never did. I then wrote the review. Immediately after posting the review, I received a text from the "Owner" and a phone call. He claimed he had my phone number wrong. He offered to help reimburse me some of the vet charges and begged me to remove the review stating he would continue to monitor my dog's health and my review would "ruin his small business". I refused to remove it and explained how rude he was upon check in and he made excuses but there is none. I told his employee what happened and what he said to me during check in and she was appalled and apologized profusely but then said he is the "Owner". As soon as I removed the review, he stopped responding to me, so I sent another text and he went off on me stating many rude things include my mom's cancer was not his problem. Beyond disgusting, heartless and mean and he stated I was supposed to keep him posted. It's taken me time to post this because of trying to help my mom best I can and it took months to restore my dog's health, and I am a single mom of two who just had 6 consecutive layoffs. The least he could have done was offer a partial refund but nope. I would not at all trust this cruel, rude and unprofessional man who clearly doesn't care about animals or people. My dog and all her belongings smelled terribly also. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!

If you're looking to board your dog I HIGHLY recommend this place!…read more I was so impressed with the owners communication and she happily gave me a full tour (not even scheduled) so I was comfortable before I booked. I felt like they asked all of the right questions even down to my dog's personality and quirks so they made sure she was with a compatible play group! My girl stayed in a suite with a toddler bed that didn't feel at all like your typical dog kennel. They sent me an update (with pictures) of her having a great time. Best of all when I picked her up she showed no signs of stress just a very happy girl! I also ran into a neighbor of mine when picking up that says she brings her golden twice a week for daycare to get that puppy energy out and she loves it too!

It girl Penny is over ten now and had been developing sever separation anxiety. As I travel for business we used a boarder down town who neglected Penny, slowing her to go unsupervised and injure herself trying to get out of her kennel. Paws took the time to understand Penny's situation and provided the kind of care and supervision and really needs. With an extra dose of love. We got frequent updates, Penny got her medication and was so happy. It's hard to express the value and relief we feel for what Paws is able to do for us. To know that Penny has someone that loves her like we do and had the experience and qualifications to give her the best care let's me travel for business work confidence and come home to a happy pup.

Dr's exam consisted of looking at my dog for about 10 seconds without a flashlight and never listened to his heart or lungs with a stethoscope or looked at his teeth or gums. He does not care about your pets health if he can't do a comprehensive exam. He didn't even notice that my dog has a bent paw naturally or point it out but his assistants did. Assistants were nice and more communicative than the Dr. Front staff lady was rude and also useless. I asked if that was 3 year vaccine to confirm and she said no it was 1 year and that the mistake was on me. If I call ahead of time and make an appointment and no one asks me which I want I'm assuming it was what we already setup. Don't bring your pet here, you're not saving any money and you are not getting what you pay for. Dr should have his license revoked absolutely ridiculous to skip important checks during an annual exam.

I understand the appeal but don't think it worked well for my pet. I have a basset hound so she is grouped with the big dogs due to weight although she is much smaller than most the other dogs in size so I think that's why she wasn't very playful or social (which is extremely out of the ordinary). My dog is very timid/scared around strangers but he has no problem running away with all of them and being pet by them. They've always made me and him feel very comfortable and confident with their care. Three of my favorite parts of camp bow wow are: 1) themed weeks. Each week the theme for camp changes and that includes sounds, smells, activities, etc. It's very fun! 2) all the activities! They offer so many group activities and one-on-one enrichment opportunities. My dog lives for water days and ball pit days - cannot get enough! I included a photo they snapped on their instagram. Pure joy. 3) cameras and photos!! They post so many photos throughout the day to social and they're all soooo cute. You can also watch a live feed of each room to check on your pup throughout the day. I highly recommend Camp Bow Wow! 10 out of 10!
