I had my eye on this store for some time and finally had the chance to check out this adorable boutique and gift store during the Small Biz Saturday Local Makers Market. In business for nine years, it is located a few doors down from Oakland Park City Hall. There are a lot of cool businesses, restaurants, and breweries in this strip. The Wanderer Shop is the creation of Marisa Folz. After years of working out of Airstream trailers and a store front in Flagler Village, she opened this store in Oakland Park in May of 2021. The store name and eclectic inventory was inspired by Folz's travels. The store is thoughtfully arranged with two rooms of pastel hued clothing for men, women, and kids, accessories, house and home goods, and carefully curated gifts that are sure to delight their recipients. This is a cute little shop in Oakland Park, near the Funky Buddha brewery and the Oakland Park city hall. The shop is mostly a women's lifestyle shop featuring apparel and accessories curated of local and small brands. The owner started this business by selling from an old Airstream back in the mid 2010's. Her success lead her to a brick and mortar store in Flagler Village in the late 2010s and now this larger store in Oakland Park. There are lots of cute items for women and babies as well as home decor and accessories...the men's section is small. Many of the babies clothes are in the $30-50 range, while the men's shirts are in the $50+ range. Great shop, great styles, lots of nice vibrant colors...but many of them in the pastels, pink and beige hues. read more

I've been wanting to visit this boutique since I started following them on IG couple years ago. I knew that I just had to make a point to stop in during my recent visit to Fort Lauderdale and I'm so glad I did! If you're looking for boho vibes and current fashion trends, this is the spot. Not only do they have the cutest women's clothing, but they also sell children's clothes, home decor, stationery, and fun gifts. They even have a small mens sections featuring Duvin, which is a local surf/beachwear brand. They have some amazing floral installations throughout the shop which you know I'm swooning over. The whole place is so colorful and fun! I ended up getting a new handbag and the cutest set of wavy glass straws. I've been using them so much lately and I much prefer them compared to metal ones. Love at first shop! I won a raffle at the Sunny Sideup Market in MASS district, a while back, for the Wander Shop. Loved it and have been shopping here ever since. It's a cute women & men's boutique shop with unique fun pieces. The owner, Marisa, is a sweetheart. She helps you create an outfit or find a piece(s) for one. I went to the grand opening for the new location in Oakland Park with a friend and I am in love with this boutique. It is absolutely adorable and they have the cutest items. I can't think of anything that could have more charm and snazz than a clothing and accessory boutique situated inside a classic beauty of early 60's Airstream trailer. Then, especially with the additional plus of being situated within what locals continue to refer to as the Eucalyptus Gardens area of Wilton Manors. It simply exudes the best in casual unique. Run by two pleasant girls, The Wander Shop is super small. You can't do much with the limited space of an Airstream trailer, so though sizes and selection may suffer, they've made the most of it with those drawbacks being overcome by the interesting and unique clothing and accessory selections they offer. Most of the clothing is women's wear which isn't for me though I am considering it for "Ladies Drink for Free" bar nights. And if I do succumb to that thought, this might be where I'll buy it. read more

I remember when the wander shop was outside of the alchemist fort Lauderdale and suddenly it moved and I was so sad! But I found this wonderful shop by chickncone and its so cute! The clothes are unique and unlike things you'd find in a normal store in the mall. The owner is very nice and a pleasure to talk to. I seen this little gem of a shop at Sunfest 2018 and it was wanderful lol.. The owner and her employees are young,lively beautiful entrepreneurs and already know that customer service is #1. The store is a metallic travelling camper and the inside is the cutest bohemian store. Very natural,organic feminine vibe. The owner is kind and knowledgable and seems like she wants to get to know her customers. She sells clothes, jewelry, body creams and bags. My daughter and I bought a gorgeous fanny pack that can go around waist shoulder and can be used various ways. The to go bag is clever. Its another drawstring bag with the Wandershop logo and she gave us smart little stick on's for our cell phones. She is opening a shoppe in Aventura which luckily is close to my home. Extremely happy with this experience. I have seen the "Laudy" hat advertised in their social media for months and finally went in to get it. They were out of stock but Marisa wrote down my info to let me know when they were in. As soon as they got the shipment, she texted me and asked me if I wanted to pay via email to ensure they hold one for me until I pick it up. I paid before even asking what color the hat was. When I asked her, I was told it was blue. I actually wanted to get a white one so she said she can let me know when the white ones are in. Two weeks later they were in stock and she texted me right away. Very responsive, happy, and upbeat attitude. I just came in to grab the hat and also found an outfit for my best friends birthday.
