It was so convenient that most of the museums were directly across the street from our Hilton hotel. This location is perfect most of the tourist spots were dotted all along the dock area here! It was a rainy day too so we were so lucky to be so close. After London we were so weary of cabs even though the most of the cabs are those vintage large black ones where your luggage can go at your feet. Most of the museums have had a donation box near the entrance/exit areas. This is smart because I definitely gave more on some occasions when we were thrilled with the exhibits. I actually tend to give more at the end of a visit instead of upfront. Some places ask straight away and some have a collection box near the exits. I think people are more generous after enjoying the museum fully. There were many beautiful exhibits inside. Many works associated with a "color" theme throughout the museum. I was very surprised to find pieces by Paul Klee and Pablo Picasso inside. Actually I had never seen this piece by Pablo and I loved it! His work is so different with each decade his style changed and evolved. If you travel to Liverpool I would highly suggest staying at the Hilton, all the museums are just a few blocks ahead to the port. Loved this Tate!

Don McCullin is a photographer that takes photos of war and famine and poverty, my type of photos of things that are real and hard hitting and it certainly didn't disappoint. The photos I saw were powerful and thought provoking and sometimes disturbing and I left in awe. The Tate museum and gallery in Liverpool is fantastic and well worth a visit put this on your itinerary.

Based on Wilderspool Causeway with its own parking, its worth stopping off if you're looking for something that's going to last. They tend to stock different wood furniture from oak to pine, and some others, as well as different styles and pieces from bedroom to living room, to dining room. We've had lots from there and the quality is excellent, worth the price as pieces last for years. They also do some giftware and artwork so you can always pick up something nice and unusual to decorate the house with. The staff are nice and friendly and know the products so can help with any questions or enquiries you might have.

A bit difficult to find if you dont know the area, lots of parking space and they will help with heavy items. There wallpapers are mostly Crown as are there paints, they also have lots of books to order from some with very expencive papers and some very reasonably priced. The best thing about shopping here rather than a place like B.Q is the staff really know there stuff and are very helpfull, we took a small section of wallpaper into them, they recognised it, ordered it and we had it within the week. Dont get that in bigger places.

The furniture isnt up to much either, it's mostly the rustic look that was popular a while ago. They stock prints and mirrors too, there alright and not bad prices, if your looking for quality this isnt the place.

It's all original paintings and other art, handmade items like…read morejewellery, decorative items, gifts, etc. The paintings vary in style, but there does seem to be an overabundance of fairy-related artwork. Someone must be a fairy fan. There is quite a variety of media as well, from paintings to drawings to collage art. The quality of this art is excellent, so I have no doubt that the prices are good for what you are getting. But remember, you're buying art, so it's not going to be cheap.

This is a great place for people of any age, if you are a serious artists then they should have most of the specialist equipment you need and for children there is plenty available also. The staff are helpful and happily spend time with you catering to your needs and supplying you with all that you need to either get started in the art world or continue a passion you may have held for years. This place really put a smile on my face as it is in the middle of pubs' bars fast food restaurants and really stuck out as a good quality alternative shop which indulges the passions of the people.
