Got there and put our name on the list for a party of 4. it was Friday evening and they had a wedding party. After a while waiting outside, we checked back in and they forgot us. We then were put at a table quickly the was very small for four people. The server was quick and apologizing. She took the order and the food came out but our burgers and fries were not hot. My wife and I stopped in last night for dinner. A wonderful and well appointed log building. Lots of photographs of the Teton area and its animals. The service was fantastic, their manhattans on the rocks were well made and hit the spot. We both enjoyed the roasted brussel sprouts appetizers and the pork chop entrees. We eat here every time we stay at Turpin Meadows. The Elk Medallions are one of my favorite meals in the whole country. My husband loves the Ribeye. This place was super convenient to get to since we're at the Hatchett Resort connected on the property. I was hesitant to go here due to past reviews but we gave it a shot & we're glad we did. It's a tad pricey but everything we had was good and the portions were huge. I'll also add the menu says 18% gratuity is added to your check and it was not. We tip 20% for good service so they made out better with us by not adding it & I prefer that. So my husband ordered a mix bbq special with mixed veggies. It was all good and the veggies were not over cooked and tasted great. I had the steelhead trout with asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes and added a side salad for 3.00 more. We each ordered a local beer on tap. Our bill was about 60. A tad pricey but again lots of quality food. Save yourself, drive somewhere else, anywhere else for food/service. Ordered to-go dinner meals here since it was next to The Hatchet where we were staying. At the time of this writing, they were 3 stars but nothing else we could do since no other restaurant in the area. Well, we should've driven the 30 minutes to the next place, because this is some of the worse food and service we've ever had. Spaghetti was barely the most decent food off our order. The bison burgers were dry and flavorless, fries were overcooked and stale. Beef salad was also overcooked. Chicken salad had no flavor. Our order said 4 spaghettis but we're only got 3. Went back to tell them we were missing a spaghetti and the waitress/manager just kept telling me she packed it herself. Well front know what to tell her but she counted the order wrong and still missing a spaghetti. She walked away and came back and shoved a to-go box of cold spaghetti without a single word and walked away. Thanks.... Eating in is an included 18% gratuity regardless of party size. Restaurant manager that had a complete melt down, and yelled at us then cried. When we simply asked about straws for the drinks, and WiFi. She threatened to throw us out and there were 5 paying customers in our group. We were never rude, or mean. We just simply asked about it. My impression is that she is used to bullying folks and has zero respect for people. She even came back again and started yelling at our table again which made her seem even more unhinged. 3 of the 4 people ordered spaghetti with a meat sauce ..... it was less than average, for the cost . We did have another server assigned to us by the name of "McKenna" and she did an amazing job. We tipped her very well. I felt bad for her due to the fact that she was walking a tightrope with the manager watching her with anger in her eyes. Due to the fact that she was doing a great job. I would love to be contacted by the Owner of this establishment. The manager you have now is costing you business. There were other paying customers in the restaurant at the time she caused a scene. When I went to the office of the hotel to see if there was a over all Gen Mngr the man behind the counter said he was. I then started to tell him what happened at the Wetting Stone. He cut me off and said he had watched the whole deal and knew what was said and that we had made her cry. However he had just handed me a brochure and did not recognize the other 3 people of the 5 that were in my group. He never heard anything. This was a long and annoying wait. We ordered at 8:31 and didn't get our food until 9:48 It was a relatively simple order of mac and cheese, chicken tacos, chicken breast, and a lager beer. Even people after us were served first and had left by the time our food arrived. We didn't even have time to eat and took it to go it . They took around 12 minutes to transfer food from plates into to go boxes. And before that they took 15 mins in transferring food into plates . Food was cold and bland and the servings were relatively small. Not worth the steep price of food for food this bad. Atleast the fried were crispy and the staff apologized. read more

Amazing. That's the only word needed to describe this place. Our waitress, I believe her name was Addy (she has a gorgeous mountain/forest tattoo on her arm), was absolutely astonishing. She was so attentive, made jokes with my family (giant party of 12 people), & made sure every part of our meal was enjoyable. The food was to die for. Everyone in our family enjoyed their meals - which is impressive in itself. I, myself, had the veggie burger but I added cheese & jalapeños & oh man.... it was absolutely delicious. Some portion of our family had the elk medallions, they all LOVED them! My brother had a steak & they cooked it perfectly to his request. My nephew had a full rack of ribs & he was very impressed. Every single part of our experience here was wonderful. The service, the food, the atmosphere... all perfect. Also, their drinks are delicious as well! I had both the huckleberry margarita & the huckleberry rum punch(??? - maybe, I can't remember which one it was). So delicious! When I checked on it after 30 mins, she basically shrugged and said it's going to be another 20 mins. My wife and I found this restaurant to be the only descent place in the area as there are limited restaurant choices. The service is excellent and the facility is very nice. Food was a mixed result. We ate there two nights and I had one good meal and a bad one. The thyme chicken was not good and very small for the price ($21). The best choice both nights was the molten lava cake. The Hatchet (dining in same) was recommended by our place of lodging for dinner....Went with our extended family of 6 which included elderly grandparents. Arrived to eat a little before 7 PM, party of 2 walked in prior to our party. A blonde lady walked into the lobby area and rudely asked if we were all together...when we responded that we were seperate from the other 2 (who incidently were standing more than 6 ft. away! and all had on face masks!!) ..Her response was to RUDELY tell us we needed to wait outside ...And it was raining and no coverage!!° Seriously???? She definitely could have been a little more cordele in her response and handled the situation differently!!! But also to demand us with elderly and children to wait oitside in the rain was very uncalled for regardless of circumstances. Our party of 6 decided to drive 20 min. further away to spend our $$$. read more

The pregnant woman at the front desk was extremely rude and unprofessional, she said "I'm do you have masks?" We said "yes, in the car." As her mask was down below her nose, glaring at us as if we committed a mortal sin. The girl behind the shield was not wearing her mask at all, she took the customers salad to them with two drinks in her hand and their salad pressed firmly against her grey t-shirt as her long strands of hair flowed freely across their dinner!!! We walked to the car put in our masks walked back and then she said to us, " actually we aren't serving anyone else it's 8:00 and we won't have the table out of here on time for you, you can order and sit outside.. keep in kind outside is pitch black with minimal outside lighting..then the said to the sweet elderly couple two couples behind us, "could you wait outside, we are full." I ended up having to wait over 10 minutes for my check at the end and got impatient and ended up walking up to the counter to pay because the server would just walk by and look at me and not hand me my check. The automatically charge 18% gratuity otherwise the servers wouldn't get a tip at all... What measly restaurant with a rude waitress (who has been mentioned to be unpleasant in multiple Yelp reviews) charges a party of 2 18% gratuity even if it is stated? 18%+ gratuity is justified for a nice restaurant and average service, but terrible service does not deserve 18%. This place is looking to take a penny from you everywhere they can. Should've known when I saw that a pork chop was listed at "market price." Anyway, good luck trying to leave an appropriate tip that matches the terrible service you will receive. They will charge you the 18% anyway. This place has amazing burgers! We had dinner here every night we stayed at the Hatchet. Our server was genuinely friendly and welcoming. He even gave us a few pointers on best places to spot wildlife in the park. TIP: Sit by the glass doors to the side of the restaurant, for an amazing view of the sunset and mountains :) read more

I wanted to reactivate my Yelp account just for this spot because my wife and I just stopped here for dinner and the reviews don't seem to be relevant any longer. The server checked on us multiple times throughout our meal. The service was very fast, friendly and they made sure our drinks werent sitting empty. Also the food was great! It was our last night in the Tetons and we wanted something a little more special to see us off and this place really was great. They must have read past reviews because both servers really seemed to be making sure guests were happy and attended to. Complete disappointment. To sum up: Poor hygiene from the pregnant waitress, bad attitude, terrible service and our food was completely cold. There was an extremely weird and rude pregnant girl That told us we couldn't sit down and eat although there were people still ordering their food inside and sitting down. She said we all needed masks (which we had) and I watched her serve people and do everything with her mask around her neck, never over her mouth. I am not even a person that thinks masks are effective in general, but the fact that she was so rude about telling us we needed masks and then never wore one, that was pretty comical. I watched her cough a few times while carrying people's food to them and then she cleaned off tables and proceeded to pour drinks for people while never washing her hands. The other waitresses didn't even wear a mask at all. It was all comical. The weird waitress told us carry out only was our option even though the restaurant would close in another hour. There was nothing else open at 8:00pm so we were stuck. The man in front of me ordered a drink at the bar and the weird pregnant girl continued to tell him he could order food and sit down....Right in front of us! We felt like we were in the twilight zone with how crazy she was. While waiting for our food we heard her saying rude things about every customer that left. Working here is clearly the highlight of her life. The whole experience was odd. We just wanted our food and to get out of there. The food was basic but fine if you are starving. Im sure it would have tasted better had we not been eating in our car, and we would have ordered so much more, but this waitress was not interested in making money at all, she just wanted to talk crap about the customers and go home apparently. We had the trout, spaghetti, steak salad and Caesar salad. The veggies with the trout were great and the little tiny piece of garlic bread each meal came with. Everything else was cold so we wouldn't know how it tastes. I've never in my life left $0 for a tip (even a take out order) but I felt I had to. I'm a 20% or more tipper. This weird pregnant waitress just missed out on a $50 tip just for being completely rude and exclusive by offering for other people to sit down and eat right in front of us.
