This was an experience, and not one I want to remember or experience again. I'll start with the positive. The food taste was great and our server Kaylee did a great job. Unfortunately the bar was not adequately staffed so the drinks were backed up and we experienced the same thing with the kitchen and wait time on the food. This place has got to get it together. You need more staff to support the frontline or you need to limit the seating so you can better serve the customer. The menu is limited so I really don't understand the kitchen issue. Last bad issue. Get you desserts from an outside source. If you are currently doing this, find someone else. read more

Great vide, atmosphere and very clean however that's all I can say that had going for this place. Couldn't make more than half of the drinks on the menu because they were out of mint, blackberry and cucumbers. So ordered a whiskey and moved onto appetizers and dinner. With such a limited menu yet out of most everything including appetizers, sauces and sides. $34 for a mediocre steak that could be eaten in 3 bites, overcooked shrimp, over salted chicken fried steak, no sauces for the ratatouille and only fettuccine sauce for the stroganoff was a joke. The waiter said because their chef quit and they did not have the recipes. To the point the live musician stopped playing and we joked he ran out of songs. The grilled chicken was supposed to have an herbal butter sauce. Not. When I asked the server about it, she brought me herbal butter. Like what you would spread on bread. What? The maple glazed carrots were missing the maple glaze and were shriveled up. Will not be going back. read more

First visit on November 8. There was a line at the door and there seemed confusion on the part of the hostess. So, we sat at the bar. Very excited to have a new restaurant around the lake. Enjoyed the open air atmosphere, live guitar and energy for a mundane Wednesday evening. Good traffic for the area given inflation. Diners in the area don't seem fazed by the higher cost of food/drinks, staff, etc. We enjoyed the tuna tataki appetizers. I had the 4 oz filet, which at $22 was a fabulous price! The food was really good for the area and we were pleased to have a new restaurant that isn't Mexican or fried. For dessert we shared the ice cream of the day, which was really good: vanilla bean lavender! Our food took some time to be delivered and we had to ask on a few occasions for an update. This was an experience that a friend also faced when he dined there not long ago. We learned that one of the owners was seated at the bar down a few chairs from us, but he never spoke to us or any of the other patrons that we noticed. We were somewhat disappointed that the manager on duty did not introduce herself or speak to us regarding our experience. On top of this they overcharged us for the filet and it took too long to simply cancel the first charge and re-issue the correct one. There was no apology or regrets from staff. Please coach your staff and provide training on how to engage your customers. Ask them, "How was everything?", "Is this your first visit?", "Can I get you anything else?"...etc. It left a bad taste in our mouth and it appeared that there is lack of customer service at this restaurant.
