Had a reservation on Monday and were seated in a separate indoor room with a fireplace. Unfortunately, the table was extremely warm on the side closest to it... like uncomfortably so, especially considering it was 106 degrees outside. We asked if the fireplace could be turned off, and were told it was "just the pilot light" and that the heat was from outside air coming through. That explanation didn't really make sense, especially if it's an electric fireplace, and it left us wondering why the flue was open in the first place. Our server initially seemed a little annoyed when we brought it up, though he became friendlier as the evening went on. As for the food and drinks: the Gold Margarita tasted a bit cheap for the price. Once it arrived in the taller glass, it was clear the ratio leaned heavily toward mixer and sweetness rather than tequila, gran marnier, and fresh lime juice. It definitely didn't taste like fresh lime as advertised. On the other hand, my husband's espresso martini was absolutely fantastic. The standout dish was the filet special - rubbed in mustard and marinated for over 24 hours. It was excellent. The mashed potatoes were packed with flavor, and the jambalaya rice was tasty as well, though slightly cold. Dessert was an apple pie with the crust wrapped entirely around it, which we enjoyed. What an amazing dining experience! Quick summary with details to follow: Exceptional service, perfectly crafted cocktails from a beautifully curated offering, large whiskey selection with flights, artful food presentation of delicious food. The vodka Martina made with Japanese vodka with a gorgeous twist. (Olives optional- opted out for mine). Described as served in chilled glasses and - wait for it- halfway through the meal and the drink- our fabulous server Ellie comes to the table with a second chilled glass and pours my remaining drink into it. Just wow! Personal preference of my brother-in-law was the mule was tasty but could have used more ginger beer. Side choice was steamed green beans with cashews. Delicious. Chopped chicken salad. Plate full of all the fixings- crisp bacon, eggs, tomatoes. My brother in law asked for 3 sizes of ranch and Ellie delivered with a smile and full plate of ranch. Dessert- how to decide?!?' Not much room but we had to try desserts with the restaurants name. We chose key lime pie and the white chocolate cheesecake. Both were phenomenal! The key lime pie was so light and extra graham cracker crumbs were perfect for scraping the plate with every last bite. White chocolate cheesecake was a taste explosion of all things chocolate and creamy- perhaps less cheesecake tasting with the extras but oh so yummy. We had a reservation for 8:30 but when we arrived at 8:10 were seated right away. Every single staff we interacted with showed plate at serving us and talking with us. Food came out in a timely fashion & everything was perfect. 2 of us had the Ahi Salad & 1 had the pulled pork sandwich, all were fresh and tasty! Took my wife and sister-in-law out for Mother's day. I have to say, when i walked in ... it was a mad house. we had a reservation and only had a 10 minute wait. My sister-in-law has gone through a great deal of trauma... and required a walker oi get to the table, easy and seamless~ regardless, we were seated within 10 minutes of our reservation once, seated... you would have never know they were busy. Our server, Jackson, was a rock star, and we had an amazing evening with GREAT FOOD, Greats SERVICE and maybe a couple of bottles of Silver Oak. Fantastic night!!!! read more

I ordered their Famous Chicken Salad (that's the name)and it was perfect. I did take out the raisins and I'm glad I did. It would have been way too sweet. I usually do not like cold chicken but it was sliced so thinly that it worked. My husband had Filet Mignon Salad and said he wished he would have ordered the salmon instead. I ordered the fries as I was curious about "fresh cut" they were very good. We ordered the caramel cheesecake and bread pudding. This reminds me of a Cheesecake Factory! Upscale but casual at the same time. A good variety when it comes to many options on the menu and a bar you can have a drink at. I got the cheeseburger and all though it was probably the simplest thing they had on their menu it was really good. We also got the AZ egg rolls which I would give a 10/10 I was not expecting them to have a good amount of cheese, beans and corn in them. The jalapeño crema pairs very nice. The only reason why I'm giving it four stars is because most of their descriptions of the dishes don't sound all that appetizing so that's why I got a burger because I knew it would probably be good. For example, my cousin got the miso glazed salmon, and in the description it didn't sound very good but when she got it, it was actually very tasty especially paired with mashed potatoes. The server was very patient, especially because we asked him to come back multiple times because we had no idea what we wanted. If you do go make sure to make a reservation because it can get really busy, especially after 5 PM. read more

Popped in for a quick work lunch and it was great. It's a really nice ambiance inside and everyone from the hostess to server was so friendly! I wanted something light and didn't want leftovers so I grabbed a shrimp cocktail appetizer and one of their special salads which had corn, zucchini, tomatoes, onions, cheese and topped with a vinaigrette. We stopped in for lunch and as always, it was packed with diners. We were able to snag a table in the bar area which was perfect for us. I would recommend making a reservation. Our server Tru was excellent. He was very friendly, attentive and always approached us with a smile. We both ordered the Cobb steak salads. We have been to White chocolate Grill on several occasions. We enjoy their service service, the food and the ambience. We wanted to bring our out-of-state friends to experience the restaurant. We made same-day reservations in anticipation of dining with white chocolate Grill that evening. There were six of us. Unfortunately, our friends had an unforeseen event which precluded us from being able to make the reservation. We attempted to contact White chocolate Grill via phone and cancel the reservations. It was over six hours before the time of the reservation. The phone was not answered. So we got in the car and drove to White chocolate Grill and informed them that we would not be able to make the reservation. The hostess informed us that we would be charged eight dollars per person for canceling the reservations. There were no other solutions offered. We were charged $48 for the cancelled reservation, despite it being over 6 hours before the reservation. There was plenty of time to mitigate any potential damage by having someone else take the spot. It was a very disheartening experience, and we will consider it when making dining reservations for our next out of state visit by friends. read more

Everything was simply amazing. Originally went here for 12 yr anniversary with the wife. Immediately upon walking in blown away by the service. Staff was amazingly helpful. Sooooo this review is on the Miami Beach salad. Yes a delivery. No excuse for quality control in the kitchen so if mgr is reading heads up. I've had this salad number of times. This time it had zero mango , zero pistachios , zero croutons. The few boiled shrimp had zero flavor plus they put ends of the lettuce in the box. We come for the homemade salmon dip, unfortunately they sold out by the time we got there. The queso dip was our alternative. The chips were large and warm. The dip ended up being a spicier than expected. Perhaps we got some seeds of the jalapeño. The AZ egg roll were very per usual with a salsa and one "ranch" dip. The burger was really good and cheesy. Big enough to share to leave enough room for dessert. The white chocolate brownie was warm which paired well with the ice cream, whip cream and chocolate chunks. Had dinner with my work team and lucked out with Morgan as our server - she was amazing! Super friendly, really attentive, and kept everything running smoothly. We started with the artichoke dip and Southwestern eggrolls. Both were delicious, but the chips with the dip were a little stale - not a big deal, just something I noticed. For my main dish, I got the steak and shrimp combo with a spicy cream sauce. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the sauce had just the right kick. I picked honey-glazed carrots and steamed broccoli as my sides. The carrots were awesome - sweet and tender, but the broccoli was a little overcooked and didn't have much flavor. Now, the desserts... wow. We shared the white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake and the croissant bread pudding. Both were incredible - probably the best desserts I've had in Arizona. The cheesecake slice was huge (way bigger than Cheesecake Factory's), and the bread pudding had that perfect mix of crispy edges and soft, custardy center. Just so, so good. The atmosphere works whether you're dressed up or keeping it casual, and the prices felt totally fair for the quality and portion sizes. Another trip for my memorable sandwich and this time everything was all good. I arrived just in time before the lunch crowd hits (so be mindful of what time you show up). As a party of 1, I opted to sit at the bar & the bartender/server pulling double duty did a great job to keep me hydrated & get me situated with my lunch. The Split Turkey Sandwich is still memorable... only knock was that I got some "sub quality" fries. Crispy, yes, but got a lot of crumb-style fries on my plate. Made reservations and came here for dinner with my wife the day before Valentine's, as we had family plans the actual day of Valentine's. Knew it was going to be a busy day, which is why I made a reservation. Got there at 8 sharp and were told they were working on our table. No problem, I am not one of those that expects to be seated right at my reservation time, so could understand waiting a few minutes. We ended up waiting 35 MINUTES to be seated and had to check on our table twice. We were very close to just going to CFA next door. Finally, we were seated and the hostess said they would comp an appetizer for the wait. We were greeted shortly after and a note was left on our table that said "Free Appetizer". The waiter took the note and we ordered drinks and an app. Waiter was nice enough, no complaints there. Overall, the food itself was good. I would say above average. I had the chicken pesto and my wife had the chicken crepes. We considered ordering a dessert (we love their desserts ie white chocolate) but it was so late and we had waited long enough that we just wanted to go home. The waiter brought the bill and had charged us for the appetizer. So, we awkwardly asked for the appetizer to be taken off the bill as we were promised a free one for the wait. In my previous visits here, it felt like a special experience. This visit was much less than that and, sadly, we felt like we were herded in and out. read more

I have to admit, the simply grilled salmon I ordered was quite possibly some of the BEST salmon I have ever had at a restaurant before in my life. Buttery, soft, smooth, flavorful, rich, melted in my mouth, it was pretty dang perfect! The ahi tuna on the other hand was fine, just kind of boring. I guess the champagne dressing I ditched would have "elevated" the flavor a bit. I would totally go back to this restaurant and order two salmon entrees, no joke! It was superb! I really like the White Chocolate Grill. The food is always good and the ambiance is always perfect. The service is impeccable. The side dishes and appetizers tend to be particularly good. The only reason I give it 4 stars and not 5 are the steaks. For the price point of the steaks, I would expect slightly better quality. Ive ordered both the center cut filet and the ribeye with balsamic glaze, in both cases the steaks were no better than a Texas Roadhouse or Outback steak, only $20 more expensive. So we've been coming to this restaurant for two years nearly every day for lunch five days a week. It's normally anywhere from 2 to 5 people for lunch and then 2 to 4 times per month anywhere from 2 to 4 of us go out to dinner. We spend $50,000+ per year. We were just there today and I spent $200 for lunch. Then my business associate and I went there for dinner tonight. Lindsey, one of the young managers there comes up to us after we had been there approximately two hours and told us we needed to leave. They only allow two hours for the table. Never mind the fact we were sitting in the bar where they have TVs that are playing sporting events. So if we were watching one of those games, we would've been kicked out an hour before it ended. We explained to Lindsey nicely that we spend a lot of money at their establishment and that we are there every day five days a week and then I had just been there for lunch. We also explained that we have choices as to where we spend our money. She told us it was a new policy instituted three weeks ago by the owners. She actually came to our table twice. The first time telling us about the two hour limit, but telling us she would give us a few more minutes. I have never had a restaurant do that ever in my life. If you're going to have a policy like that, you should tell people that when you make the reservation. You should tell people that when you check them in and seat them. When you go to an upscale restaurant and order drinks, appetizers, dinner, dessert, and have to be out in two hours, you had better be slamming your food awful quickly. I don't know that I will ever spend another penny there. And I'm going to highly encourage the rest of our organization to find a new restaurant that will actually value over $50,000 in revenue per year. Second time here and on both occasions, had the Balsamic Ribeye Steak, served with a side of Brussel Sprout chopped salad and tomato slices. Anyone who knows fine dining - would not recommend. I'd try Luna by Giada, Kembara, Buck and Rider, the Phoenician. I did end up coming back here, this time for a birthday lunch and this restaurant was in the area we were headed to. I'm giving White Chocolate Grill an extra star this time. The servers here are still incredibly friendly and constantly checking on your table. Most of my table had the French Dip sandwich. It's a fairly good version, generous with the amount of meat, but know that they serve the beef on the very rare side. (Like still mooing) That may bother some but I didn't mind too much. Better than tough, overcooked meat I think. The fries are good and you can also choose from a variety of other sides like broccoli or mashed potatoes. The only minor disappointment I had was that they knew it was my birthday but didn't offer any complimentary dessert like most restaurants do.
