Super tasty quality food, I noticed that on the menu it even tells you which farm the meat came from, or where the ice cream was made etc. The Greek Lamb and the Gammon are both brilliant. The portions are huge and I'm always left with enough food for another meal but save room for the Holly Bush sundae because you wont ever have a such a selection of tasty locally made ice cream :) The prices are great too, last time I went it was around 30quid for the 2 of us.

This place is very rural. You can hear livestock and birds chirping. The service is excellent. They take great care in asking about food preferences. For instance my husband ordered a veggie pie and it comes with gravy. The chef took the time to come out and ask whether he is a vegetarian as the gravy is meat based. My husband ordered the dancing duck amber ale. It is a light fruity beer with a hint of summer fruits. My cider was light and fruity. The entrees were delicious. They were served piping hot. The flavor was just right. The pies were freshly baked with a flaky crust. The filling was fresh and delicious. My husband ordered a side of chips and I ordered the baked potato. I have to say coming here was the best thing we could have done. Yes one can go to a large corporate chain restaurant but in these times of pandemic we gotta support family run local businesses.
