Room in the Beach Building

From A-Z this place is fantastic! One of my very favourite spots and also places in the world to stay. The restaurant upped their menu lately and it is fantastic too. Thank you the Wick Inn team. Plus they are dog friendly We will be back !

This is the most beautiful resort ever!! Right on the end of a long sandy beach and views of the ocean if you book a room at the Pointe building. Upon arrival you are greeted cheerfully by an eager valet hoping to drive your sports car ten feet away! The doorman welcomes you and helps with your luggage. Check is just as welcoming and the counter always has fresh apples out. Our 3rd Fl Room is gorgeous, overlooking the beach, a small outdoor patio with Adirondack chairs, a fireplace, two queen beds, a desktop with Nespresso, kettle, hot chocolate, assorted teas and Kanteens for filtered or fresh water you can refill on lobby floor and oh bath salts and candles! Other nice touches are the locally made soaps and heated floors. Amenities include a small indoor gym and an onsite spa. But why be inside when you can run walk or better yet, borrow a bike and ride on the sandy beach! The tide is almost always low and If you wake up early enough and get to the end of the beach you can cross over to a private island called Frank's Island with four inhabitants on it! We tried a few times but the tide was too high for our rubber boots. So get there by 9 am if you're visiting early Nov and you'll make it across the sandbar to explore. The Pointe building has a cafe downstairs where they make a mean hot chocolate and have quick to go breakfast, lunch and snack items. They also have a more upscale restaurant on site which serves locally sourced food on the island! It's located at the Beachcomber building which is about a 3 minute walk from the Pointe building. We'll definitely be back, the service is superb!

Was going to stay here for my birthday but they only accept vaccinated people. I will never support this hotel. My boyfriend can't get vaccinated due to health reasons. Stop commenting back on people's reviews trying to defend yourself saying you're just following orders. It's stated on the governments website itself that hotels are exempt!!

Amazing luxurious resort owned by the McDiarmid family. This inn is mentioned in the Relais and chateaux guide book. Rooms are pricey but they do a great job of providing comfort to the guest. As you walk in the room, the first thing you see is a big window with a view of the waves crashing in the ocean surrounded by the forest. I definitely felt every stress in my body melt away. They even provide you with a complimentarg port to start your vacation! The beds are pillowy soft. Besides the tv, they have a few cd selections that you can use on the bose player. Other things in the room that you can use during your stay are beach blankets, hiking pack, rain gear, binoculars for bird watching, and water bottles. The amenities of the place include a gym and library with a computer. This place is pet friendly.

Not much to add :)

What can one say? It's the premier resort on the rock :) Everything you could want. Just be sure to bring a car and your wallet.

The Wick has long been on our bucket list and it did not disappoint. The rustic elegance of the location and decor leave you feeling connected with nature while also recharged and pampered. We stayed in one of the Premier rooms in the Pointe building and I would definitely say it was worth the splurge. The views were absolutely incredible and we had the waves crashing along the rocks directly below our room. The staff thinks of everything: from the hot chocolate that we could heat right in our room to the closet stocked with hurricane-grade raincoats and rain pants (plus rain boots in many sizes available downstairs). They have a library on site with books, games, and movies which we definitely put to good use on a rainy day after a huge brunch. The bathrooms are beautifully designed with elegant touches such as candles and bath salts. I'm so glad we made the journey here and would definitely say the hotel lived up to the hype.

We had the BEST time here at the Wickaninnish Inn. We loved everything about our stay here at the Wick. The property is absolutely beautiful, tons of areas to see the beaches and access down to the beaches. The rooms are super clean and super comfortable. The spa and the restaurants are both a must do here. I can't wait to come back here again as soon as we're able to.

We've been here 2 out of 5 nights and I can't help it - I have to tell you now this place is 5/5 stars! I'll start with the service, as it's exceptional. Personal notes left by the people who clean your room, restaurant service that makes you feel like you're a regular when you've only just arrived, spa service that treats you like a star, and front desk staff that always seem to be quietly observant in order to anticipate your every need. The location here is stunning. STUNNING! Perched right on a rocky shore, we listen to the waves each night from Room 312 (do make sure you get a room on the 3rd floor - better views up here). Eagles fly by with their catch dangling in their talons and surfers can be seen running into the waves to catch a set. Another perk that I appreciated -- you get whiffs of freshly baked bread permeating the salt air on occasion. The spa is attentive without being overbearing. Do book a couple's massage if you can - you'll enjoy being in the Cedar Sanctuary with the sound of the waves at your footstep. And also be sure to check out the Rainforest Steamroom - it even has a window to the outdoors (not that you can see much through the steam, but it does add ambience). The food is great in both buildings. This morning we had pastries in the cafe - we're talking chocolate croissants that would make the French jealous, along with other goodies. The Pointe Restaurant also is fantastic. Perks you'll appreciate at the hotel: free bikes, a Philips Senseo coffee maker with local Caffe Umbria coffee pods (it's that new fangled coffee maker that looks like an espresso machine but actually just brews one cup at a time - seriously good), a two person tub with a picture window looking out to the ocean, a fireplace that lights with the flip of a switch, free wifi, beach access. Well, you get the picture. Everything you expect, want, and more. Yeah, it's remote (hey, we came all the way from SF!), but it's worth it. Stay in Room 312 and you can read the notes from all the others who've stayed here and loved it. Including me.

They are also the perfect options for a family trip with kiddos. Rent one of 30+ cabin or tree houses for a week and you'll never want to go back home! This resort has the most amazing staff, they are always smiling and offering to help in anyway they can, whether it's a text to see if you require anything, to opening the door when you've got your hands full! Their property is fully equipped with a playground with tons of fun wooden structures that the kids will love and get hours of play from. Perfectly located steps from the beach and a hop, skip and a jump to town. In their office they have DVD's, board games, coffee, tea, an adorable herb garden just outside the doors and a social area. They even have a box of toys and beach gear for the kids to play with! Our log cabin was amazing! We were stunned how everything was included in the stay as well. In our private secluded cabin we had a cozy outdoor area to enjoy breakfast and a good book. We had our own BBQ which comes with all the tools you'll need to whip up an amazing BBQ dinner. Our very own private hot tub, we took full advantage of that! It had all the bells and whistles and was the perfect night cap to a great day. Inside we had a massive fireplace with all the wood you require to keep your cabin as warm and cozy as you'd like, we only put one log on and it lasted all night long. Not to mention the rooms were already warm with in-floor heating that kept our toes warm! The shower is beautiful and fits 2 for sure, felt like a rainforest! The bed was massive and super comfy. I love how they have a full kitchen, it literally includes every single kitchen tool and gadget that you might need to cooking, baking, roasting, BBQ'ing, shall I go on? They even have a Cabin Stocking Program where you leave it to them to stock your cabin so you arrive with groceries and everything you need to settle in! I haven't been to a resort that literally thinks of everything! Missing something? They will ensure it's on your doorstep asap! There is so much to see and do on your vacation to Tofino, but you'll definitely want to set some time aside for perusing around the hotel grounds or just enjoy a cup of coffee on your balcony and enjoy the sweet sounds of the crashing waves and the smell of fresh air. The grounds are well kept with beautiful flowers and not too much clutter to distract from the natural views. You're only steps away from all the outdoor adventures your heart desires, from paddle boarding and kayaking, to hot springs, fishing and hiking. Bonus, they are pet-friendly and also offer up to 60 private RV spots! Don't have an RV?They have 9 Glamping RV's you can rent as well! It's crazy because there was a vehicle in each spot but I didn't seem many people around, we were truly secluded in our private little nook which nice for a change!

It was a staycation 2.0 for sure. Upon entering our suite, a bottle of complimentary wine was waiting for us. All kitchen utensils were complete and ready for our use, properly sanitized. In the lobby, check in was a breeze. Free Rhino coffee and hot chocolate 24/7. A small service pantry was available if you forgot anything ...every detail was thought of and prepared for you. For guests, a free smores kit is being handed out for guests to enjoy the fire pit and bond around a campfire. Bike rentals can also be had for a mere $15 for 4 hrs or $30 the whole day. Our pet got to stay for free, with no extra pet cleaning fee, as a courtesy for returning guests. And of course, we were accorded a late checkout for us to enjoy our stay more. From the moment you wake up to the sound of the ocean and the cool breeze going through your window, you are surrounded by nature's beauty all around. Such an excellent place to relax and unwind and feel the sand between your toes. Miles and miles of beach to walk and explore, and the water provided a welcoming relief to the scorching heat. Yes, it is a bit pricey, i must admit. But once in a while, you have to treat and love yourself. This place is simply amazing. Watching the sunrise and set and see the glow of the beach at night from the moonlight, reminds you that life is beautiful. A must go for everyone. A must try for first timers. A must add-on for your bucket list. Explore your own backyard. Cheers! Happy exploring!

It's truly a great place to retreat and enjoy the sea. We found the room to be clean, cozy, and well updated. Service was good throughout the property and the grounds are well kept. On this visit, the food was better than our last and I had the opportunity to chat with the chef who goes out of his way to design a menu that is as inclusive (vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free, etc) as possible-- which I personally appreciated very much. Tofino Resort & Marina has a beautiful website that really sells you on the property. It is not as much a resort as it is a group of three associated businesses. The buildings are exterior entry older construction, which has somewhat been updated. We ended up with a first floor room. It faced the water and sort of had a view from outside. We weren't expecting a view so this was fine. The unit had a separate living and sleeping room, which was nice and gave plenty of room for all our gear. There was even a spot outside to hang your wet gear and plenty of room for shoes and what not. The walls featured beautiful photos and the white on white look was nice. But, overall the rooms were just not very cozy. Tofino is in a level three drought so we skipped showering since we were only there two nights. We did enjoy dinner at shelter both evenings. We didn't get to experience the adventure center because we arrived late on day 1 and their hot springs excursion was booked up the full day we were in town. They do have a variety of interesting looking excursions though! We liked that the location was walkable to town. We also walked down to Tofino brewing one afternoon. It would be awesome if they added a rental bike fleet to their offerings so you could just park your car and easily get around to the further flung places.
