FABULOUS! From the time you walk in the door till the minute you walk out. Service was phenomenal ZACK! And the host don't know her name. Bread was so fresh! And loved their homemade red pepper butter! Our first time having Elk and it was Excellent! Perfectly cooked-not gamy! Loved the veggie combo carrots, green beans, sweet potatoes. Mash potatoes were epic! Tenderloin was cooked perfectly! Love the sauce and fresh blue cheese but I got it on side to use it at my own discretion. Enjoyed the mashed better than Yukon potatoes. Ambiance nice but you can dress casually also! This place was PERFECTO! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

What a fantastic hidden gem! Came with a group and we all loved our Server Rylie ! He was fantastic at taking everyone's orders, keeping drinks filled, and answering a myriad of questions. Awesome service that really made the night! And the food.... oooh it was good. We tried the lamb, ribeye, shrimp scampi, and the BEST salmon. Loved all of it and

This place is a hidden gem! I enjoyed my experience here with my family. They provided bread with butter to start with. The bread was average, but the house butter was unique and flavorful. The salads were surprisingly good--an elevated version of the regular salads you get, even at nicer restaurants. I particularly liked the pecan and the Caesar salad. The vegetables were very fresh. Then came the palate cleanser! The sorbet was so refreshing, and I was ready to start the main meal. The wild salmon was delicious. It was grilled on a cedar plank, and the aroma filled the room. The mashed sweet potato was yummy; wish there could be more of that! My favorite dish was the beef tenderloin. It was cooked to perfection. The inside was a beautiful pink color, and the meat was so tender. It paired really well with the special sauce and cheese. I savored every bite! As for dessert, I got the vanilla ice cream. It being house-made with real vanilla beans caught my eye, but unfortunately, I couldn't taste much of the vanilla bean. It still tasted good because it's ice cream, but did not meet my expectations. The service was incredible. The ambiance was great, perfect for special occasions. Plenty of parking space outside. Will be back again!

Lovely restaurant tucked away in South Jordan, Utah. The food was delicious. My ribeye steak was mouth watering, the bread and butter were lovely and I liked the Green Apple Sorbet as the palate cleanser. Service was also top notch. Our server made excellent food suggestions and was quick to make sure we had everything we needed. Ambiance is what you'd expect of a fancy restaurant- wine bottles on display, white linen tables, tea lights and a clean and welcoming environment. I would recommend you give The Wild Rose a try, you won't be disappointed!

Overall loved this place - the first fine dining I've had in Utah and it didn't disappoint! The lamb rack was delicious and loved it with the blueberry jelly - medium rare is recommended. The pork chops were surprisingly impressive and tender. I also loved the scallops for appetizer, comes with 4 pcs and delicious. The creme brûlée was a cherry on top for the whole meal, it was very creamy and tasty! The service is great and they really help you have a good experience. The restaurant also has a great ambiance, a nice place if you want a fancy dinner. Price is around $50-$60 per person.

I feel like this place is a well kept secret! It's small, not a lot of signage or advertising. The food is 5 star. Great cocktail menu and wine list. It's meant to be a little more Upscale even though I went in flip flops and a Jean jacket... oops! We had the beef tenderloin and the fish.. forgetting it's name but it was closely linked to a Chilean sea bass. Very rich and tasteful.

Was our first time here for our anniversary and the staff and food didn't disappoint. Nice modern ambiance with a beautiful wine display. Staff were very attentive and made sure everything was to our liking. The lamb came out perfect at medium rare and paired really well with the A-Z Pinot noir. My wife loved the mushroom ravioli with the cream sauce and we ended dinner splitting the chocolate almond torte. Great choice in the west valley and definitely ranks among the best restaurants in the Salt Lake area.

We went there for our anniversary and we loved it! The service was amazing. The music was perfect, not too loud but still good. And the food was delicious. We loved the Brussels sprouts appetizers the most. I couldn't finish my main dish because I was so full from the appetizer and salad. My husband loved the lamb dish so much! I had the halibut, it was my first time trying and I enjoyed it. It is very different then any fish I've tried before.

We were recommended to The Wild Rose from our realtor that helped us find a new home on the area. We had family in town and were excited to try it. We had Nate who was our server and he was excellent, provided a great understanding of the menus along with top suggestions. We had the appetizers - salmon cakes, pork belly and caprese and they were all excellent. For the main we had the Lamb Chops and Salmon. This was certainly the best restaurant we have been to in a long while. The food and service were amazing. This is a must go to place and we are so lucky to be living close to such a great place. The ambience was also fantastic with live music that was excellent.

The food is out of this world full of flavor and the portion size are just right. Our server Dan was absolutely phenomenal great conversationalist and very well-versed in what the restaurant had to offer. The ambience was absolutely amazing how it brings contrast to what you're eating instead of distract you from The hard work and skill that was put into the dishes.

My new favorite spot to eat. First valentines and then my birthday. Every time we come here we leave more than satisfied. I loved their special Beef Wellington and was so good. But my favorite is their appetizer, the goat cheese stuffed dates. They also have really good wine pairing too.

The food is great! The atmosphere is laughable. The bathroom was the same as village inn.... Gross and not fancy at all. Here is my biggest complaint... THEY RENT OUT SPACE FOR EVENTS. We suffered through our expensive dinner... listening to clapping and hollering and a LOUD TV. I told our waiter how annoyed we were.. we had reservations for our anniversary. I would not recommend if you want something private, quiet and intimate. Also, our waiter was a dope, he must have come from village inn with the bathroom. Not worth the price.

Good sized planks, three of them, with fresh tasting fish. The waitress asked if I wanted malt vinegar when taking my order. A very good sign. It came with a very good cole slaw, sliced thin and with an excellent creamy dressing. One of the best slaws I've ever eaten. The fries were excellent. It also came with tartar sauce, of course. Best tartar sauce I've ever had in my life. Seriously. I never eat fish and chips with tartar sauce, it has to be malt vinegar in every bite or it's sacrilegious. But this tartar sauce--wow. I alternated bites between the tartar sauce and the vinegar because I couldn't decide which I liked better. I took home what was left of the sauce so that my wife could taste it. She agreed that it was excellent. This was a board meeting for our club. Others had the steak salad, fish tacos, bacon wrapped hot dog, chicken teriyaki lo mein...other items that I don't know what they ordered. But all around me said what they were eating was very good. There were some nachos passed around, the Station Nachos: "House Made Tortilla Chips, Fresh Queso, Four Cheese Blend, Citrus Pickled Onions, and Pico de Gallo." It was very good. The place is a bar restaurant and the interior was comfortable enough. It was a bit noisy for the older folk in our club to hear each other for a meeting, but that's the way it is. Our server was efficient, though I was wondering about the order and time it took for the different items, but it wasn't that big of a deal. Our party of 15 got all of our food in good time. The waitress was friendly and efficient, but we were in a different large room and I think she was also waiting on tables in the main room. As such, I didn't get checked on my soft drink for refill. Not a biggie as I didn't need one. Pleasant surprise at the quality here. I would definitely return. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

We're already planning to come back to play pool and check out their weekend brunch. Highly recommend.

This isn't white-tablecloth, hushed-voice "fine dining," but the kitchen is absolutely cooking at that level. Every dish that hit the table delivered: the som tum, drunken noodles, and Thai fried rice were all standouts, with zero misses across the board. The mixed greens and golden tofu plates were legit highlights too, not just obligatory veggie options. One thing to know before you go: everything defaults to no spice unless you speak up. If you're used to true Asian spice levels, level 3 is probably your sweet spot. Level 2 was still a bit too tame for us, especially for something like the som tum that really sings with heat. Bottom line: excellent quality, generous value, and food that keeps you thinking about your next visit before you've even paid the check. This is absolutely a spot I'd come back to.

Here is where the identity crisis starts. You walk into a nice space with red velvet decor and Italian landscapes. I had to do a double-take to make sure we were in the proper establishment. The menu has photos of their dishes, great for a visual eater like myself. We started with the soft shell crabs in a chili sauce. The crabs were lightly battered, crisp and a delicious taste. We saved the sauce to pour over our rice, an added bonus. The pad Thai was to sweet, and over-run with red onions. This is not a combo I'm familiar with, not my favorite. The pork spiced ribs with honey, tomatoes, Thai spices and sesame oil was unique and good. They fell off the bone tender. What is stuck in my craw is the message sent by the physical space. Beautiful red velvet chairs, Italian landscapes and wine bottles lining the walls does not lend to fine Thai dining in my mind. A least paint over the walls and add SOME Thai touches. Let your wait staff know living on cell phone and ignoring patrons is never a winning message. The male bathroom has a toilet covered with painted tape and several missing pieces of porcelain. Are you a serious business or a pop-up finishing off someone else's lease? Attention to details are important and help set the table way before the food arrives. I wish Ve La Thai Fine Dining the best, but question their commitment after being here for over a year, perhaps it is all intentional.
