I got their fried chicken sandwich and it had the right amount of crunch. The piece of fried chicken was wayyy bigger than I thought it would be. I also ordered the brussel sprouts. Love that they offered a healthier side dish and that they were charred. Didn't love how salty they were. Next time I'm asking for less seasoning. And yes, they offer parking validation here

I was recently at Ovation for an event and learned about The Win-Dow for the first time while I was there. This smashed burger joint has 8 locations across Southern California and in addition to burgers they also serve chicken sandwiches and grain bowls. All at very reasonable prices! During my visit, I ordered a regular cheeseburger with a 1/2 and 1/2 mix of lemonade and iced tea (Arnold Palmer). The burger was tasty and the size in line with what I would expect for the price point. The drink was a good deal for the price. Large portion and delicious. Their iced tea is unsweetened, so the drink has the perfect balance of sweetness for me. Not a fan of the paper straw since it started getting a bit mushy before I finished my drink. Service was excellent, despite the lunch crowd. The cashier was very friendly and made a drink suggestion for my meal. The Win-Dow has some seating options in front (bar height and regular tables) to enjoy your meal. They also validated my parking, so eating here gives you 2 hours of parking for $3. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and think it's a great value, especially in this area. Although I don't find myself in that neighborhood often, I would definitely consider checking out their other locations.

This place is so yummy! Honestly it is one of the better burger spots in LA. I got their cheeseburger, kale salad, and Brussels sprouts. The cheeseburger was so good. I will say one cheeseburger did not seem filling to me. I would definitely order maybe two or even a double cheeseburger next time I go here. The kale salad was really good. I shared with someone and it was really good. If you are a fan of kale, you would like this. The brussels were very good too. I will say it is better fresh but nonetheless, it was seasoned well. The prices here are pretty cheap for LA pricing. I would recommend coming here to try their food if you want a nice cheeseburger or some veggies to complete your day! I will definitely be coming back here!

I've been meaning to try this place since it opened. I was in the area the other day so I ordered a cheeseburger to go. Simple menu and simple ordering process. Moderate amount of seating out front in the Hollywood/Highland mall. The biggest draw is how cheap everything is. Unfortunately, I found the burger to be kind of mid. The patty was overcooked and chewy. The bun was whatever. Honestly, the pickles were the best part. It took about 15 minutes to get a single tiny burger which seemed a bit long for what it was and especially since it was overdone. I'd probably still come back because I've heard the chicken sandwich and Brussels sprouts are good, but that remains to be seen.

Freshly cooked delicious smash burgers with all the fixings and their delicious sauce...what's not to like? It is especially nice that it's a rather small menu so you're not agonizing over too many options or choices and I will also say that the brussels sprouts are certainly stand out and you don't even feel like you're eating something healthy at all when you get those. There's plenty of outdoor seating right there in the shopping center, and the service was quick efficient and friendly so great job!!

    Love this seating availability!

I have always walked by The Win-Dows Burgers at the Ovation/Hollywood&Highland mall and say one day I'll try it. Well I finally have and it was GREAT! The menu is colorful and well detailed. I was greeted by the friendly cashier at the walk up window. You can see the busy cooks and food expeditors working in the kitchen. When I ordered my fries the cashier asked if I wanted to add a dipping sauce. They had very tasty options. I got the jalapeno dipping sauce. After my order was taken I sat at their amazing long wooden & metal high top tables and cool red chairs to wait for my food. There is only outdoor seating so it's a great place to people watch. My name was called and I happily picked it up. I got the friend chicken sandwich, french fries and crispy brussels sprouts. The portions were great, the food was hot and delicious! Will definitely go back to it!

Finally decided to walk my lazy butt to the location and the double smash and fries are amazing. Everything was perfect.

There was a miscommunication on the order Ordered it without pickles , had my son walk it back up Manager was actually really rude He told me son he could order another one I actually saw someone walk out with s'mores shake and went to order that and clear up the issue with the burger we just got Manager was actually disgustingly rude, he said his employee asked and verified ( she did not ) He told me I could order another one and pay for it if I didn't want pickles Or he could just issue a refund Which is what I opted for since I will never give this place my money again On the flip side my son said the bite of the. Burger he did have was really good , and we will pop back in to the original location I understand this being a very touristy area and I'm sure the employees get alot of stuff This guys attitude was lousy and unacceptable

After having taco Tuesday next-door, I grabbed a milkshake here for a sweet bite of dessert. The s'more milkshake caught my eye, and I thought I'd give it a try, it was delicious! This is a chain with only window service and outdoor seating. Simple menu, simple place, very straightforward. The prices are really good and it's kind of fun to sit outside and watch the world go by at this location. I've been to another of these in Long Beach and it was good food, so I can't wait to come back here and try more!

I came to this spot because I was super hungry and wanted a quick snack, but WOW these burgers impressed me. The cheeseburger I got was super delicious, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. For $4.50, it's also affordable for how good it is and for the area it's located in. I'll definitely have to stop by again when I'm in the area. The store is more of a stand, however, there is plenty of seating in front of it. You can also see the Hollywood sign from the seating area, which is cool too! Service was standard. They also validate for the parking at the Ovation.

My sister and I had made it to our hotel and were starving. We had missed the buffet, but right outside was the mall and we saw The Win-Dow Burgers. I saw some of the orders being picked up and the burgers looked really good. My sister and I decided to get a double cheeseburger and fries to split. What I appreciated was how friendly the guys were who took and giave the orders. Also the food was made to order and not sitting around. The burgers looked appetizing and satisfied our hunger. Had a a good flavor. The fries were ok to.

Stopped here for a quick bite and left feeling pretty fulfilled. The name is clever and lets you know it's just a window you order from lol. Food is pretty affordable, and does not come with sides originally, which I like, but if you're on the hungrier side definitely get a side. The double cheeseburger's flavor comes out and greets you like a warm hug, especially on a chillier day like this. I would say the burger meat could be a little more soft and tender, was just a touch overdone but that didn't ruin anything. The chicken sandwich is pretty good too, but i definitely prefer the burger. I think the flavors blend better together compared to the chicken sandwich. This cute little win-dow is located near the hollywood walk of fame and has pretty good seating, would stop by again!

Parking: Street parking was super easy on a Sunday afternoon, I was able to pull up right in front and park on the street. There is a Super A across the street and ample parking around for free. Ambiance & Food: This reminds me of an old school burger stand. Those were the best burgers and this one did not stop that trend. As I walked up, we were warmly greeted and given a quick rundown of what which burger. They did have specials (I will get to that in a second) which we were intrigued, but for the sake of perspective, I ordered the Goldburger and both regular fries and curly fries with a bottle coke. The Goldburger is naturally a double, but my gymrat protein brain added that extra patty. They use a 70% to 30% mixture for their burger which makes the burger oh so decadent. The picture I took doesn't do it justice. The moment you bite into the burger the combination of burger juice, aioli, burnt skirt, all come together in such a harmonious fashion. It was remarkable. Though fries are not one of my strong points, both fries were crispy and I haven't had any other experience with Curly fries other than Jack in the Box, but these were so much better. I went ahead and dipped the fries in some homemade Aioli and dang, what a combo! Back to those specials, the current special is CHILI, I was intrigued so they gave me a small container of it to try. Man, if I wasn't watching my caloric intake, that would have been the move. It was rich and chunky and not to soggy which some always comes. Give it a try as they said it will be around for sometime. Other than burgers, they do have hot dogs as well. So worth trying both next time. To be perfectly honest, this brought back so much nostalgia for me, I used to go to school in the area and this brought a lot of those memories back. Tasty burgers and a must try for sure if your around! Cheers!

The beef patty is thick and plump, extra crispy on the edge (maybe slightly too much so). It is a bit too salty on the outside, while needing a bit more seasoning inside. That means while I waited over 25 minutes for my order, I had to wait longer for them to see what's in the bag to see the mistake. Who is to say that if I was crooked, I would simply remove the fries from the bag. What this ultimately means is that now my family is eating colder food. I didn't even bother for the fries anymore since I didn't want to either have my food get colder or wait another 20 minutes for them to remake all the food. I simply wouldn't go back. I do hope they stay around because we are losing small business but the owners should really reconsider the policy for missing food.
