We felt that we had their full attention, from the initial design visit, right through to the carpenters, plasters, electricians and various tradesmen who would work on our home throughout the duration of the build. Loftplan's experience really shined through, and they were able to make a complicated project feel like a relatively minor amount of work. They were polite and professional to our family and to our neighbours, which made a real difference to the whole experience. He is not…read morecheap: £350 to replace 5 small white glass panels in three windows, using our own glass, which took a little over 2 hours. Unfortunately the job was not completed to a very high standard. There were gaps between the lead and glass where it had been cut, pieces of cement were left on the glass, the glass pieces cut from our panes had flaws in them, and lots of shards of glass were left under all three windows - despite his knowing we had a 2-year-old child in the house. No attempt was made to vacuum before he left. This lack of attention to detail was hugely compounded by the fact that when I wrote to Barry to bring these to his attention, he immediately called me up and bawled me out for my temerity in criticising his workmanship. After abusing me verbally for several minutes, he hung up. I can only say I don't think you would want to engage this person to work for you or have to deal with him personally in any way.
