It's nice and big nice space for kids to run around. But my issues lay with safety. There were exposed cords everywhere, no supervision or separate space for the water table area, and there was no up keep on maintaining sanitation or tidiness of each area. All was ok , but staff's children running wild , and not following directions of The Wonder Place was bad. Especially for the young children watching. Love this place for my 4 and 2 year old. It keeps them away from the hot sun and there's so much to do inside. It does get a bit chilly inside if you get cold easily like me. They have a cute kids market, vet area, books, sand area, theater, and play structure with a small slide. They also have a baby and toddler area which is really cute for the littlest ones. The little water area is fun to go fishing but make sure your kids don't drink the water. They have different art activities each day so it makes it fun for the kids. Price is decent ($7 per person including the 1st adult) but I would suggest you getting a punch card for $100 for 20 punches or sign up for a year membership if you come often. If you're a member you get 10% off the toys! :) Owners are so sweet so that's a plus! read more

I love bringing my kids here! Sometimes I forget it's an option and then every time I bring them, I end up wondering why we don't go everyday! :) this is excellent entertainment for HOURS for my two little ones. The oldest has gone a few times as well and she also finds it entertaining (but she is careful around little ones). It is so refreshing to know that they are safe to run around and play to their little hearts' content. I also love that the staff enforces the rules of cleaning up the stations after play because it has been very valuable to my children for them to learn that "cleaning-up after yourselves" habit. Just a heads up though; bring an extra change of clothes for your little ones, if they are anything like mine and might be tempted to just hop on in the water table. it only happened once though! read more

My daughter has had fun the few times we have been here! I am hesitant to go back because it seems like she always gets sick or picks up a bug after going. A lot of the areas are dirty and could use a better cleaning or wiping down after groups are coming through. I know kids are going to share germs, but there are ways to keep it at bay. read more

We were visiting family in Arkansas and looking for a place my 2 year old could have some rainy day fun. Great indoor play space for those 0-4. My daughter loved the sand box and water table/stream portions of the space. Beautifully done and very comparable to similar play spaces we are accustomed to back home in San Francisco but with a hometown feel, e.g. renaming the farmers market 'River Market', etc. I took one star off for price-- 7.50 for child and $7 for 1st adult. Other adult is free. It's pretty ridiculous to have to pay admission for adults--we never have to for the indoor play spaces in SF. Tip to the proprietor, up your admit fee to $10-11 but let adults in for free and only charge children that way folks don't feel ripped off. Otherwise a nice place to spend a rainy day. read more

This is a godsend for babies who aren't amazing at walking and for little mobile babies and toddlers. Little kids too, I bet. Big kids will be too cool for school here, but it's a perfect, precious place for little ones. There are so many safe things to do and an incredible variety of play stations and such. It's so great to go here when it's way too hot/cold/rainy outside. They should put a brochure for your going home packet at the hospital because you just don't know about things like this before you have kids. There's an extensive play grocery store, veterinary clinic, huge water table, play kitchens, dress up area with stage, etc. It's a busy place for busy little people. read more

Years ago, I took my nieces to the Wonderplace. Now that I have a son of my own, I've been looking for adventures outside the home, as my son is a busy body, needs lots of stimulation, and loves kids of all ages. This was a perfect spot! Since it really caters to 5 years old and under, he wasn't being run over (since he is at the crawling stage.) The water table with high chairs is great, and he just loved many of the play sections, overall. The toys could use a little refresh - many have been around quite awhile. I wouldn't recommend the museum because of the cost. It charges $8.75 for kids ages 1-8 years, and $8.75 for the "first adult." This is misleading (to be kind) since kids this age can't be left unsupervised, and exorbitant as the true cost is $17.50. To soothe the expensive fee, it's good for "all day." My 3-year-old granddaughter loves The Wonder Place, and it really is a wonderful place to take her, especially when it's too hot to play outside. But we stay from 1 to 2 1/2 hours and she pretty much plays with everything offered and is worn out. If the owner(s) believes $17.50 is reasonable, I challenge them to take an 8-year-old or younger, stay for an entire day from 9:00a.m. opening time to 5:00p.m. closing time for an exciting day of wonder, and post their results. The museum is safe, relatively clean, staffed, and organized, with wonderful play areas, although downhill at times. The last time we went, the play stage had no costumes; just a few dirty, raggedy boys' capes. I asked a staff member where were the costume dresses; she said maybe they're being washed at an employee's house? During business hours when we paid to use them? The fishing pond in the infant area was covered with a film of stagnant bubbles. There were 3 or 4 employees, pleasant enough, but doing nothing in particular. By comparison, Kiddie City in Maumelle is $12--still way too high, and smaller, but clean, similar, and offers different play areas. I agree with the Google reviewer who stated the charge should be $5. We would visit frequently at this reasonable price. Let the $17.50 be a leave-and-come-back option and see how many people use it. read more

This place has such a wonderful concept and so many engaging things to do with the kids. There are not a lot of indoor play places in LR so it's refreshing to have somewhere you can take your kids that is safe, fun and allows them to be creative and play. We also did the sign language class which was nice. I wish that they had more locations. This would be a great place to have in N. Little Rock as well. read more

I took my 5 year old nephew. I read either on the Wonder Place's website or on my Living Social deal that the place is intended for up to age 8. I think 5 is probably the limit. He liked it and he found stuff to keep himself entertained for a little while, but we were there less than an hour before we were both ready to leave. He also commented on the way in that it looked like a place "for babies" and it "smelled like diapers." I would definitely go back but with my younger nieces and nephews, no one over age 4. Cool place for a birthday party for that age. Friendly service, plenty of parent/guardian seating, and I liked that there was a box to put things that might need washing. read more

This is a great place to take my very active and curious 3 year old son. If we lived closer I would definitely purchase the discounted visit pass. He enjoys everything here but really loves the car and train tables, water table and the play market. Lots of great opportunities for imaginative play here! I always enjoy bringing my kids here. My kids seem to really enjoy the various areas that they have. Also since I have a younger kid as well, it's nice that they have a specific area for him. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place to any parents to take their kids. read more

We took our three year old here as a break from the monotony of a cross-country car ride. It was a little hard to find since Google maps put the locator on the wrong building, but after finding it we were impressed. There were a couple simple rules, like make sure if your kid makes a mess to just make sure you pretty up the area for the next child that would use it (what you would think is a common courtesy). We decided to keep our daughter from going into new areas after about the fourth one because the children previous had trashed the area and the parents just left it as such. Maybe that is their idea of tidy, but a reasonable person wouldn't. I'm not holding the staff or the facility accountable. Overall, we got some great pictures of my daughter having a blast and she slept very well for the next leg of our journey. When we stopped for the night se asked to go back to the "playground" she was at earlier, so she even liked it. read more

My 3 children received gift cards to the Wonder Place for Christmas. My husband took off work so we could spend the morning having quality time with our children. They opened at 9am and we arrived at 9:03, just in time to see a pest control truck driving away. Once inside, I asked if the pest control service had just sprayed in the play area. The answer was, "Yes." We left immediately. An establishment geared toward children should have their safety as a #1 priority. Exposing them (or the employees) to freshly sprayed chemicals is not necessary. We chose to do other activities. read more

This has been by far one of the best additions to Little Rock for children. It is packed full of exciting activities and at the same time not so large that you worry about losing a child if they run ahead of you. There is a specific 2 and under section and even a shoe free baby zone. Sand, water, a bakery and market. Puzzles and mind games, books and a dollhouse. A vet, a stage, puppets, a daily craft- You can't get bored. My four year old could stay busy all day. Kind owners and a reasonable price! read more
