Worst customer service ever! My contractor asked me to go pick out tile and the Whatley sales…read moreladies would not take one second to even point me in the right direction. I went in twice and the sales ladies refused to come out of their offices to help me. I could see them sitting back in their office chairs, drinking coffee...you can see their reflection in the glass. In my opinion, no matter how big or small your customers are, you never treat them like they are not worth your time! On top of this, both times the receptionist was treated so rudely by them when she asked for help ( talked down to - disrespected), I was embarrassed for her. It was obvious that she has not worked there long. I ended up going to Lowe's and they helped me right way, got me the tile I needed, so they got my $$$, not Whatley! Whatley Supply is a Contractors Only Store. I received Better service at Acme Brick Tile and Stone Store, Lowe's and Home Depo in Dothan.

I am responding to another review I have read on Whatley Supply. The ladys' review was made in Nov…read more 2015. I had started working at Whatley Supply in May of 2015. She mentions that the receptionist was talked down to and disrespected by the other ladies in the office. I'm sure I know exactly the ones she is referring to. Their names are Connie and Lisa, with Lisa being the worst one to do such as that on a regular basis. Also, these two had very poor customer service skills because they didn't ever want to come out of their offices to help anyone. I am assuming this lady never spoke with Harry Carpenter either. He would help the customers while making me look like a complete, unknowledgeable and incapable idiot at the same time. I know this was the worst experience I have ever had as an employee. I have worked since I was 18 years old in the late 70s and have never been treated like this.
