I was very pleased with my radio listening on the River this week. Always great music playing and…read morethe local commercials were easily ignored other than that one annoying one I'd have to turn off. From Harrisburg, I could still get the River from as far away as Greencastle for a dinner meeting I had way down that. Awesome. You can go online and listen in realtime at www.river973.com if you like or just tune in any time. They constantly calling the station name, like 6 times a minute, its kinda annoying, but still every station does it. They have reeling in the years late late night on saturday nights, where its just like 2 straight hours of solid rock n roll. i dont own any of the CDs that they play on here, but its nice to listen to every now and again.

When I think about watching the news, and with living in Cumberland County, I generally prefer…read morewatching ABC27 because they cover it better than the other stations. However lately it seems they repeat the same story over and over way to much. Sometimes and especially during the weekend, I'll see the same story for 3 - 4 days in a row. It gets old so I switch to other stations to find new stories, like what happened during the day instead of day/2day/3day old news. Someone needs to think about this.
