Great venue for gigs. Little run down in places but tradition venue with great acoustics and atmosphere. Used less for gigs now o2 academy opened. Generally have more local bands gigs but well worth checking out some local talent read more

History
Established in 1900.
The Young Men's Christian Association was founded in 1844 in London by George Williams. Appalled by the terrible conditions in London for young working men, he gathered a group of his fellow drapers to substitute life on the streets for prayer and bible study.
