We were pleasantly surprised. There were a large number of food trucks with only a few of them closed. The choices had something for everyone. All of the prices were comparable and reasonable. We liked the large open seating area. It was very casual and clean. If one preferred outdoor seating there were tables under a patio in the back along with a couple of patio games (cornhole, ring toss). The inside bar area was nice and had a wide selection of non-alcoholic drinks. There were TVs in the main dining hall that were up high with the sound turned down so we could watch the game or have a conversation at the table. The night we went had a trivia night that seemed to be a popular event although we did not stay for that. We would certainly go back to try other vendors. read more

The server at the bar was extremely rude to my husband and me after we ordered our food, made sure our dog had had water. There was no place near the inside dining area to tie up our puppy, we had to have him wait on his leash near the door and the dog potty bags. Not more than five minutes after we sat to eat and run with a long trip ahead, she called and told us we cannot leave our dog tied up outside as he wasn't allowed. Ironically, he was sitting next to the doggy poopy bag area. She said "anyone logical with common sense wouldn't leave a dog outside unattended." She said he should be left in our car! After a four-hour drive today, having him in the fresh air, after drinking a whole bowl of water near us was the humane choice. Don't expect kind service at this food truck stop, sadly. This is a heck of a lot larger than most of the pods in Portland. At least half a dozen trucks lined up on either side of a large =indoor= seating area (appreciated on a cold day). I had the catfish from Jojo's bbq, which was quite good, and I would have ordered tamales to go from a cart which had those, but there was a card hanging from a window saying they'd be back in an hour, and I couldn't wait that long. read more

This place was awesome! Lots of different food trucks surround an indoor seating area with a bar inside. There are also a few tables outside including a couple fire tables and some lawn games like corn hole. We were there on a rainy evening, but it looks like the doors of the interior space roll up so it's indoor/ outdoor in nicer weather. I really like this food cart pod. Very spacious indoor seating area with a full bar (& good beer selection) plus big TVs to watch sports. There's a large assortment of carts surrounding the indoor seating area. Quite the selection! They also have the indoor bathrooms with changing tables instead of porta potties. read more

This food cart pod has at least 18 food carts so choices are many & diverse. There WILL be something for any taste. AC is set at a comfortable temperature and plenty of large benches for sitting. A few outside table too. A nice bonus is free paper cups and ice water AND no signage restricting outside beverages. Sometimes people just want to drink tap water and not sweetened drinks. Location of pod is excellent roughly near intersection of Lancaster & State (easily accessible from I-5). Only downside is limited parking which could be an issue on weekend nights. Driveway in and out to State Street is tight so drive carefully. read more

The carne asada over baked avocado was phenomenal!! The Tom Kha was heavy on the fish sauce, not my favorite that I've had. The gyro was good. The Dreaming of Sushi, the fish tasted off and the seaweed smelled like mold. I wouldn't recommend it, though they were kind enough to give us a refund. Overall, love the atmosphere and food options! What a fun place! 18 different food carts around a central indoor hall offer something for everyone! I had the pancit bowl with adobo chicken and lumpia. While the pancit itself wasn't particular flavorful, the chicken was amazing, and the lumpia was some of the best I've had! My friend had fish tacos and a veggie burrito and enjoyed her food as well. It's a very chill, relaxed place, and great for everyone. The bartender provided great service including managing the line to order. Most dishes ran $15-18 dollars and you place your order at the cart, get your buzzer, and pick up when ready. If I lived closer, I'd be there a lot! read more

It was unfortunately so loud though, hardly anyone was sitting inside creating a line for the outdoor tables. Great place to go when everyone wants something different. Love this concept! Eddy's Philly Cheesesteak made a great sandwich. The Jalapeño popper wonton "snack was delicious. Jasmine Thai's pad Thai was plentiful and good. Two different sandwiches from Soul and Skye grilled cheese were both delicious. Bar servers were very friendly and helpful- loved the ability to sample a couple ciders to help decide on full size servings. Great recommendations by the staff. read more

Only possible drawback--you guessed it--is that their 100-spot parking lot is sometimes completely packed. In long: These folks have perfected a concept that in most places doesn't even exist. Well over a dozen food trucks, most of which are always open for dinner if not for more hours. Open til 9 in summertime. Lots of parking, but sometimes more-than-lots of customers, too. You walk in past half of the food trucks, check the menus. Cross through the building and there are 8-10 more on the other side. Huge variety. Comforting favorites like BBQ, burgers, or Philly cheesesteak, plus Hawaiian, Filipino, Thai. There's a fish & chips spot and a shellfish-boil spot. Inside, there are highboys, cafe tables, long picnic tables, suitable for everything from you by yourself to an entire kids' sports team celebrating the game or the season. All types and sizes of groups. At one end is a FULL BAR, which most food truck rodeos lack. Good cocktails, good taps. Not sure about the wine selection. At the other end is a low stage and some nice clean restrooms. Ultimately, you pick based on the food, so the venue matters only so much. But I can honestly say that if I lived near Salem I would come in here without checking who's even open, and walk around until I found something that sounded good. I had decent loco moco, and the rest of the group had awesome soul food, Filipino, and Thai soup. Jasmine Flower will hit you with the peppers if you go full-on spicy. Dig it. read more
